Ok now that I've dropped my controversial 'biphobia in the duck fandom' post, I'm going to kick the bees nest further because I keep seeing this over and over again:

If you say "Morgana Macawber deserves better than Drake" while simultaneously shipping 91 Drakepad you're a goddamn hypocrite.

Drake repeatedly hits, yells at, belittles, and consistently treats LP like garbage throughout the 91 series. The fact even Frank Angones himself acknowledged they intentionally altered the dynamic for 2017 Ducktales to make it healthier - and the fact that people are in fact seeing the vast difference now that 2017 drakepad exists - proves this.

I'm not saying you can't ship 91 Drakepad, or that it's 'so problematic' or 'so toxic' it's wrong or a bad ship. But dead-ass seeing 91 Drakepad shippers themselves arguing that 'Morg deserves better' like... does LP not???

Or maybe it's because, gee, I don't know, it's not about concern for Morgana's well-being at all, and just another excuse to place as much distance between Drake and Morgana as possible - because m/f canon ships are treated as a threat, especially toward m/m ships.

Honestly? I have more respect for people who just openly admit they hate Morgwing for no particular reason, versus the people who constantly try to invent moralistic reasons for why Morgana shouldn't be with Drake. Some of y'all might be total obnoxious assholes, but at least you're not hypocritical obnoxious assholes.

IDW Publishing Drops “Sonic the Hedgehog” Comic News

A fair bit happening in the world of Sonic the Hedgehog comics.

Evan Stanley is taking over as writer and illustrator starting with Sonic The Hedgehog #33. Stanley will be starting a new arc in the ongoing series. Even though the Metal Virus is gone, Sonic and Tails still have their hands full trying to figure out how to fix Omega. Rouge and Shadow are also busy and have teamed up with Cream to try to win replacement parts for Omega in Chaos races.

Meanwhile, a four-issue Sonic The Hedgehog spin-off miniseries - Sonic: Bad Guys - is getting ready to release from writer Ian Flynn and artist Jack Lawrence. Sonic: Bad Guys follows Dr. Eggman’s former evil assistant Dr. Starline as he is back to concocting new nefarious plans. He’s going to need a little help, though.

Sonic the Hedgehog #33 and Sonic: Bad Guys will release in Summer 2020.
