I'm thinking of starting a second blog for my Monolith Hearts AU for Kingdom Hearts and Xenoblade 2. But I need a headline image...

Anyways, two-ish new characters, and one of whom the artist for this AU, @itsameluigi1290, had been looking forward to since I first contacted.

Meet Ventus and Vanitas' Keyblades, the Wayward Wind and Void Gear respectively.

Yes, their names are Homura and Hikari. Yes, that is the Core Crystal of the Aegis. No, I will not be elaborating, not yet at least.

Hikari is the sweetest and most compassionate of the apprentice KeyBlades, and in a rarity for Blades, is a total pacifist. But her loyalty to Ven is stronger than her hatred for fighting. She has a stutter and attempts to be Ven's impulse control, but isn't all that good at it. She is missing her right eye and left arm, using an enchanted prosthetic that Aqua and Master Eraqus made for her.

Homura is the tough and aggressive KeyBlade of Vanitas. She mouths off to his boss, has a laugh when Vanitas gets his ass kicked, and all around just seems to be a villain out of obligation. But she has an agenda of her own, and making sure Ven and Hikari get their act together is a big part of that. She is missing her left eye (replaced with the Gazing Eye) and her right arm, covering the stub with a capelet of chains.

For a bit of extra fun, the context behind Ven's journey is slightly different. They fight, but the reactions to said fight are a little different.
