Out of every major fight, character moment, and dramatic reveal in Lonetrail what elicited the strongest response out of me (which was maniacal cackling) was the fact the Kristen installed a goddamn Looney-Tunes trap door specifically because she knew that Saria would come all that way after her. I'm imagining she installed that herself because how the fuck do you justify that to your technicians

The NG++ variant for Reach the Convergence is so funny to me when i think about it from snail's perspective. Like, you're waiting in the sewers to ambush this shitheel merc that thinks they're outsmarting you. Your useless simp of a subordinate and the idiot defector have both died, as planned, and the dog is soon to clean up the last of the dirty work. Your brain is so big. And then the comms go out. Sure. Fine. Whatever. Not like anyone other than you and MAYBE Freud can do anything right in this company anyway. Now you'll just have to wait a few minutes to poke out and make sure they're in prime position for you to throw a rail accelerated toaster into the bathtub. No big deal. And then something from your 2-o'clock, high, fucking slags your entire MT squad and (probably) just about throws you on your ass. Lo and behold it's the very same bastard you're here to muzzle. You don't know how they found you and it really doesn't matter because now you can just fucking kill them. You'll get answers from the wreck. So you're about a minute or so into this fight and you're not all that worried because You Are Arquebus and then another one? seriously? the fuck????? Not only was your interception intercepted, that interception got intercepted by a different guy, who you also hate, who is here to do pretty much the exact same thing you are. And in the end, this is the death of you, because you have been unwittingly led into the exact position you never wanted to be in; in a pit, between two bloodthirsty hounds. I like to think ALLMIND took one look at Snail and said "oh no, there's only room for one smug intellectual in this blasted hellscape and it does not get to be you, meatbag".

I have now completed everything in AC6 other than S ranking every mission as that is going to be a long term project. Overall a fantastic experience, true to form for the series, if a bit more gentle than what I'm used to and somewhat influenced by From's more recent titles (which is to be expected). However, 4A utterly ruined me on movement and despite AC'6 combat being good it doesn't quite scratch the itch that the Nuclear Neckbreaker 10000 left me with. 9/10. I hope the DLC gives us a new ending, if I'm honest.

So the Lone Trail translations have accelerated the Priestess Brainrot and it is a good pain.

Some spoilers regarding that, but...

...the fact that the Preservator/Firston refers to Priestess as "the start of this madness" when referencing Originium and the fucking SEABORN is driving me nuts. He also mentions Doc was "very intimate" with her, and that could mean a few different things. Who was this woman, Hypergryph. Why did she program Kal to not tell Doc anything? How the hell is the woman who's been mentioned all of, like, 4 times, suddenly so terrifying?

See, that’s what trips me up Why would he bother with clones now? He has an infinite army of horrors at his beck and call by way of the Nightmares, which I’m pretty sure he has a level of dominion over now, and the Scorn, which now seem to serve the Witness and it’s disciples.  He’s got more than enough bodies to throw at the Guardians, and the Scorn don’t even need his orders to kill. I know what you mean, loyalty isn’t an issue if they’re all just vat grown soldiery, but I can’t help but wonder why he’d even bother.
