Steve watched as Sienna grabbed her medical bag, his eyes not leaving her figure. “Touch me all you want doll.” He smirked looking at her as she sat down beside him.

Sienna flicked a rag at him. "Okay let me patch you up first." She softly giggles as she held his face. Angling it to the side as she applied an ointment.

"okay let's see what's going on underneath..." She helped him tug his shirt off. She ran a hand over his chest as she sighs. "What did you do dear..."

Steve let out a soft chuckle as he flicked the rag at her. She let him angle her face, her soft touch contrasting to the sting of the ointment. He winced slightly, immediately recovering when she tugged his shirt off. “Just a few scratches, nothin’ much sweets”

"Oh well... You really didn't need a patch up..."

Sienna was calm as she thinks. Placing a few bandages and bits of ointment, she eyes him over. "okay all done, thanks for being a good boy for me" She softly winks.

Steve’s eyes roamed her features as she placed bandages and ointment on him, moving his hands to rest on her waist. “Mmm thanks doll. You want your reward now or…” He trailed off.

Sienna looks at him. Softly admiring his gaze as she touched his cheek. "I think now Cap...but I don't know if you can handle that."

Steve felt her touch on his cheek now, leaning into her. “You think I can’t handle you? You’re in for a treat then doll.” He muttered, placing a hand behind her head and pulling her into a passionate kiss.

Sienna smiles as she leans in. Kissing back deeply as she rested a hand to his chest. Her eyes flutter shut softly. She gently pulls him closer by his belt loops.

Steve pushed open the doors to the saloon, making his way over to the bar and taking a seat. He ordered a beer and glanced over to the person sitting to his left. He recognized the person, the sheriff. “Sheriff Barnes, long time no see.”

Bucky startles slightly at the mention of his name. He looks over and his eyes widen when he realizes who’s calling him.

“Steve? What are you doing here?”

Steve felt a small smile tug at his lips when he saw Bucky’s surprised expression. He finally gets his beer and takes a swig from it.

“Just came to visit, figured you could use some company for a while.”

“It’s a nice surprise, don’t get me wrong.”

He takes a sip from his whiskey glass. Steve looked impossibly more handsome than the last time he’d seen him.

“How have things been? I’ve missed you.”

Steve chuckled softly as he listened to Bucky speak, his eyes taking in Bucky’s features. He cleared his throat, moving his gaze to his beer. He’d missed Bucky too but he’d never admit it.

“It’s been good. I’m happy to be back here.”

“What made you come back? It’s been at least a year. Thought I’d never hear from you again.”

Steve’s smile faded slightly. He’d originally left to explore past their small western town. He didn’t really find much, just missed his best friend.

“You Buck, I came back for you..”

Bucky sits in his barstool in shock for a moment. Steve had always meant the world to him, but he sometimes doubted whether the feelings were reciprocated due to his insecurities. Steve was the golden boy; had the looks, good manners, and was naturally good at everything. Bucky had to work for it, and was sometimes like Steve’s shadow.

“I’m really glad you did, Steve. Life’s not the same without you.”

Steve being his beer up to his lips, taking a small swig before setting it back down. He never really noticed Bucky’s insecurities. He always saw Bucky as equal to him, maybe even better in some ways.

“Me too. It’s always been better here”

“Wanna come back to my place when we finish these?” He takes another sip of whiskey.

“I think we have some catching up to do.”

Steve finished off his beer and sat a five dollar bill on the bar to pay for his beer.

“Yeah, sure. I’d love to catch up.”

Bucky knocks back what was left in his glass and follows suit.

“I rode my horse here. Wanna hop on behind me?”

Steve stands up off the barstool he was previously sitting at, shoving his wallet back into his pocket.

“Yeah, I just walked so.”

Bucky leads Steve outside and to the fence post where Alpine was tied up to. He helps the blonde mount her, and then follows. They ride back to Bucky’s ranch in a comfortably silence.

After dropping off Alpine in her stall, the two men walk back to the house.

“It’s weird having you back here. Even weirder having a visitor. I guess I’ve been a little secluded as of late, but make yourself at home.”

Steve follows behind Bucky, his eyes wandering to the horse tied up to the post. He lets Bucky help him up and then rides back to Bucky’s house, his hands wandering to rest on his hips.

Steve follows him back to his home, taking a step inside the familiar house.

“No girls have caught your eye hm?”

“Oh, uh, I don’t really have time for girls.”

He definitely had time for Steve, though.

He wanders to the kitchen and grabs a mug for himself before turning to the blonde.

“Can I make you some tea? What’s your favorite nowadays?”

Steve felt a small smile tug at his lips when he heard Bucky’s reply. Didn’t have time for girls hm?

He leaned against the wall in the kitchen, crossing his arms over his chest.

“Uhm, I’ve been into chamomile lately”

Bucky nods and finds the chamomile bags from the cupboard. He tries to ignore the way Steve’s broad chest looks under his beefy arms.

“What about you, Steve? Find any city girls while you were away?”

Steve’s gaze wanders over Bucky while his back is turned, quickly averting his gaze when he speaks.

“Uh no…all I could think about was coming back home honestly.”

“Just couldn’t stay away from me, huh?” Bucky teases. He brings the two mugs to his wooden table and gestures for Steve to sit next to him.

Steve takes the mug from Bucky, his fingers slightly brushing his. He moved to sit down next to Bucky,setting the mug on the table. “Somethin’ like that” He chuckles. He’d never admit that he actually couldn’t bear being away from Bucky.

“Yeah? Missed me that much, huh?”

Bucky continues to tease, seeing the slight smile that Steve can’t seem to hide.

“I’m really glad you came back. Things ain’t the same without you.”

He takes a long sip of his tea and admires the man next to him.

Steve rolls his eyes playfully at Bucky’s teasing. He secretly missed it, missed Bucky.

He brought his mug up to his lips, taking a small sip and wincing when it slightly burnt his tongue.

“Well, lucky you, I don’t plan on leavin’ anytime soon”

“Careful, Steve. You never did learn how to sail your tea, did you?”

He laughs, but then his eyes widen when he realizes what Steve’s saying.

“Wait, you’re stayin’? Do you need a place to crash? You can have my bed. I’ll sleep on the couch.”

Steve doesn’t try and sip his tea again, in fear of burning his tongue.

“Oh no need for all that. I can take the couch if you don’t mind hostin’ me here till I get a place of my own.”

“I don’t mind sharing the bed either, Steve. I’ve got a king, and I don’t toss and turn too much.”

He pauses, hoping his suggestion wasn’t too forward.

“But I get if you want your own space. Choice is yours, Cap,” he rushes out.

Steve felt a warm flush creep onto his cheeks. Sleeping in the same bed as Bucky? What could go wrong…

“I mean if you don’t mind my snorin’”

He teased, a small smile tugging on his lips.

“I think I’ll live, but you’re comin’ to bed with me now so you don’t wake me up by comin’ in later.”

Bucky downs his tea and starts down the hallway, figuring Steve will soon follow. He strips down to just his boxers; it’s nothing Steve hasn’t seen before in a platonic context. He gets under the covers on his side of the bed and waits for his favorite blonde.

Steve chuckles and shakes his head, watching the brunette leave the kitchen. He takes a small breath to try and calm himself a bit before standing up and heading for his bedroom, completely forgetting his tea. He walked into Bucky’s room, seeing him already under the covers. He cleared his throat, moving to take off his shirt and then his sweatpants. He couldn’t help but feel a pink flush creep onto his cheeks as he slipped under the covers of his bed.

“Uhm, goodnight Buck”

Bucky watches the show before him as Steve strips down. His skin looks softer and warmer than Bucky had remembered, and did his muscles get impossibly bigger? The dip of the mattress when Steve joins him snaps him out of his gawking.

“Oh, ‘night, Steve. I’m really glad you came home.”

He goes to turn off the lamp and then stops.

“Actually, can I ask you something? It might be a little strange.”

Steve rubbed his face with his hands, feeling more awake than ever. The warmth radiating from Bucky’s body was very…distracting.

“Uh..yeah go ahead Buck.”

He didn’t know what this ‘strange’ question was going to be about. Had he noticed Steve’s flushed state? Surely he hadn’t been that obvious.

“It’s, uh, been a while since I’ve had company… I guess what I’m trying to ask is, can we cuddle a bit before bed? Like, as friends?”

Bucky knew the friends part was a fucking lie.

Steve’s eyes went wide when he asked that question. He hadn’t expected that to come from him. His cheeks flushed a light pink color as he moved slightly closer to the male.

“I uhm…I don’t mind”

He hadn’t had company in a while either but…well…this was Bucky. It’s different than just ‘company’.

"Really? Uh, thanks, Steve."

Bucky scooted closer and awkwardly threw and arm around Steve, and then retracted it after realizing how awkward he was being.

"Do you want to... spoon?"

Steve felt Bucky move closer, his body heat getting more intense. He cleared his throat and nodded softly as the question.

“Yeah..yeah. Do you uh…I mean I could spoon you.”

He knew this was awkward. They were both being relatively awkward but somehow it was…working?

“Oh, yeah, I can be the little spoon?”

He asked it like it was a question, but turned over and scooted closer to Steve so his back was flush to Steve’s front. He was starting to feel less awkward, and the skin-to-skin contact with Steve felt heavenly to put it lightly.

Steve watched Bucky move closer, pushing his back flush against his front. He took a deep breath, the contact a bit more than he had expected. He moved to put an arm around Bucky, the tiredness slowly hitting him.

“Night Buck”

Bucky sighed and fully relaxed against Steve, the weight of his arm soothing him further.

“Goodnight, Steve. See you in the mornin’.”

He fell asleep soon after turning off the lamp.

The next morning, Steve woke up to the sun shining through the window, his arm still being around Bucky. He shifted in the bed slightly, enjoying the closeness. He never thought this is where he’d be right now. At least, not really anyways.

“I uhm…I don’t mind”

He hadn’t had company in a while either but…well…this was Bucky. It’s different than just ‘company’.

"Really? Uh, thanks, Steve."

Bucky scooted closer and awkwardly threw and arm around Steve, and then retracted it after realizing how awkward he was being.

"Do you want to... spoon?"

Steve felt Bucky move closer, his body heat getting more intense. He cleared his throat and nodded softly as the question.

“Yeah..yeah. Do you uh…I mean I could spoon you.”

He knew this was awkward. They were both being relatively awkward but somehow it was…working?

“Oh, yeah, I can be the little spoon?”

He asked it like it was a question, but turned over and scooted closer to Steve so his back was flush to Steve’s front. He was starting to feel less awkward, and the skin-to-skin contact with Steve felt heavenly to put it lightly.

Steve watched Bucky move closer, pushing his back flush against his front. He took a deep breath, the contact a bit more than he had expected. He moved to put an arm around Bucky, the tiredness slowly hitting him.

“Night Buck”

Steve pushed open the doors to the saloon, making his way over to the bar and taking a seat. He ordered a beer and glanced over to the person sitting to his left. He recognized the person, the sheriff. “Sheriff Barnes, long time no see.”

Bucky startles slightly at the mention of his name. He looks over and his eyes widen when he realizes who’s calling him.

“Steve? What are you doing here?”

Steve felt a small smile tug at his lips when he saw Bucky’s surprised expression. He finally gets his beer and takes a swig from it.

“Just came to visit, figured you could use some company for a while.”

“It’s a nice surprise, don’t get me wrong.”

He takes a sip from his whiskey glass. Steve looked impossibly more handsome than the last time he’d seen him.

“How have things been? I’ve missed you.”

Steve chuckled softly as he listened to Bucky speak, his eyes taking in Bucky’s features. He cleared his throat, moving his gaze to his beer. He’d missed Bucky too but he’d never admit it.

“It’s been good. I’m happy to be back here.”

“What made you come back? It’s been at least a year. Thought I’d never hear from you again.”

Steve’s smile faded slightly. He’d originally left to explore past their small western town. He didn’t really find much, just missed his best friend.

“You Buck, I came back for you..”

Bucky sits in his barstool in shock for a moment. Steve had always meant the world to him, but he sometimes doubted whether the feelings were reciprocated due to his insecurities. Steve was the golden boy; had the looks, good manners, and was naturally good at everything. Bucky had to work for it, and was sometimes like Steve’s shadow.

“I’m really glad you did, Steve. Life’s not the same without you.”

Steve being his beer up to his lips, taking a small swig before setting it back down. He never really noticed Bucky’s insecurities. He always saw Bucky as equal to him, maybe even better in some ways.

“Me too. It’s always been better here”

“Wanna come back to my place when we finish these?” He takes another sip of whiskey.

“I think we have some catching up to do.”

Steve finished off his beer and sat a five dollar bill on the bar to pay for his beer.

“Yeah, sure. I’d love to catch up.”

Bucky knocks back what was left in his glass and follows suit.

“I rode my horse here. Wanna hop on behind me?”

Steve stands up off the barstool he was previously sitting at, shoving his wallet back into his pocket.

“Yeah, I just walked so.”

Bucky leads Steve outside and to the fence post where Alpine was tied up to. He helps the blonde mount her, and then follows. They ride back to Bucky’s ranch in a comfortably silence.

After dropping off Alpine in her stall, the two men walk back to the house.

“It’s weird having you back here. Even weirder having a visitor. I guess I’ve been a little secluded as of late, but make yourself at home.”

Steve follows behind Bucky, his eyes wandering to the horse tied up to the post. He lets Bucky help him up and then rides back to Bucky’s house, his hands wandering to rest on his hips.

Steve follows him back to his home, taking a step inside the familiar house.

“No girls have caught your eye hm?”

“Oh, uh, I don’t really have time for girls.”

He definitely had time for Steve, though.

He wanders to the kitchen and grabs a mug for himself before turning to the blonde.

“Can I make you some tea? What’s your favorite nowadays?”

Steve felt a small smile tug at his lips when he heard Bucky’s reply. Didn’t have time for girls hm?

He leaned against the wall in the kitchen, crossing his arms over his chest.

“Uhm, I’ve been into chamomile lately”

Bucky nods and finds the chamomile bags from the cupboard. He tries to ignore the way Steve’s broad chest looks under his beefy arms.

“What about you, Steve? Find any city girls while you were away?”

Steve’s gaze wanders over Bucky while his back is turned, quickly averting his gaze when he speaks.

“Uh no…all I could think about was coming back home honestly.”

“Just couldn’t stay away from me, huh?” Bucky teases. He brings the two mugs to his wooden table and gestures for Steve to sit next to him.

Steve takes the mug from Bucky, his fingers slightly brushing his. He moved to sit down next to Bucky,setting the mug on the table. “Somethin’ like that” He chuckles. He’d never admit that he actually couldn’t bear being away from Bucky.

“Yeah? Missed me that much, huh?”

Bucky continues to tease, seeing the slight smile that Steve can’t seem to hide.

“I’m really glad you came back. Things ain’t the same without you.”

He takes a long sip of his tea and admires the man next to him.

Steve rolls his eyes playfully at Bucky’s teasing. He secretly missed it, missed Bucky.

He brought his mug up to his lips, taking a small sip and wincing when it slightly burnt his tongue.

“Well, lucky you, I don’t plan on leavin’ anytime soon”

“Careful, Steve. You never did learn how to sail your tea, did you?”

He laughs, but then his eyes widen when he realizes what Steve’s saying.

“Wait, you’re stayin’? Do you need a place to crash? You can have my bed. I’ll sleep on the couch.”

Steve doesn’t try and sip his tea again, in fear of burning his tongue.

“Oh no need for all that. I can take the couch if you don’t mind hostin’ me here till I get a place of my own.”

“I don’t mind sharing the bed either, Steve. I’ve got a king, and I don’t toss and turn too much.”

He pauses, hoping his suggestion wasn’t too forward.

“But I get if you want your own space. Choice is yours, Cap,” he rushes out.

Steve felt a warm flush creep onto his cheeks. Sleeping in the same bed as Bucky? What could go wrong…

“I mean if you don’t mind my snorin’”

He teased, a small smile tugging on his lips.

“I think I’ll live, but you’re comin’ to bed with me now so you don’t wake me up by comin’ in later.”

Bucky downs his tea and starts down the hallway, figuring Steve will soon follow. He strips down to just his boxers; it’s nothing Steve hasn’t seen before in a platonic context. He gets under the covers on his side of the bed and waits for his favorite blonde.

Steve chuckles and shakes his head, watching the brunette leave the kitchen. He takes a small breath to try and calm himself a bit before standing up and heading for his bedroom, completely forgetting his tea. He walked into Bucky’s room, seeing him already under the covers. He cleared his throat, moving to take off his shirt and then his sweatpants. He couldn’t help but feel a pink flush creep onto his cheeks as he slipped under the covers of his bed.

“Uhm, goodnight Buck”

Bucky watches the show before him as Steve strips down. His skin looks softer and warmer than Bucky had remembered, and did his muscles get impossibly bigger? The dip of the mattress when Steve joins him snaps him out of his gawking.

“Oh, ‘night, Steve. I’m really glad you came home.”

He goes to turn off the lamp and then stops.

“Actually, can I ask you something? It might be a little strange.”

Steve rubbed his face with his hands, feeling more awake than ever. The warmth radiating from Bucky’s body was very…distracting.

“Uh..yeah go ahead Buck.”

He didn’t know what this ‘strange’ question was going to be about. Had he noticed Steve’s flushed state? Surely he hadn’t been that obvious.

“It’s, uh, been a while since I’ve had company… I guess what I’m trying to ask is, can we cuddle a bit before bed? Like, as friends?”
