Mel gave an amused scoff.
“Like you’d catch it if I were.”
“Way to underestimate me.”
             “– That’s not very comforting.”
She was unsure if the other redhead was even being serious at all;
;but Roberta had enough self-confidence to believe she would spot the thief’s attempts to steal from her. The only question was whether an attempt would happen or not.
“I wasn’t really going for comforting, you know.” Melinda was being entirely serious; she never joked about a topic as important as stealing! A smirk crept across her features as she had an idea: an idea certain to shake Roberta’s confidence a little.
“Maybe I should give you a demonstration! But then again, that’s probably in poor taste, huh?” She circled the other woman with a grin, all of her talking being merely a distraction. Mel turned to face her again, triumphantly lifting Bobbi’s wallet in her delicate fingers.
“Ta-daaa! Told ya you wouldn’t catch me doing it.”
She couldn’t possibly be more smug as she tossed the wallet back to Roberta.

“–Do not tell me you were trying to steal from me.”
She’s unimpressed. And suspicious; very, very suspicious.
Mel gave an amused scoff.
“Like you’d catch it if I were.”
“Way to underestimate me.”
Great Literary Themes for a Wedding
Romeo and Juliet: Poison the wedding cake.
Jane Eyre: Halfway through the ceremony, a deranged-looking woman in white runs screaming down the aisle.
The Great Gatsby: Reception is set casually around a pool with a body floating in it.
Pride and Prejudice: The groom begins his vow with 'Against my better judgments, I have fallen in love with you.'
Lord of the Rings: Destination wedding at a volcano; when the officiator asks for the rings to be presented, throw them into the lava.
Watership Down: Serve rabbit at the reception.
Catcher in the Rye: Tell everyone they're Goddamn phonies, but invite them to the wedding anyway
The Raven: Every line of the vows must end with either "Lenore" or "Nevermore."
If you’re not manipulating somebody, you’re not doing your job.
ok yes i may be evil and morally corrupt but i’m also incredibly beautiful and i think that makes up for it honestly
((Here's a glimpse into Mel and Heinz's baby daughter's future, when she is 8. Inspired by a conversation @That_EvilGirl and @Evil_Dr_Doof (a different set of Melinda and Heinz) had about our Ashley, on Twitter))
“But daaaad!”,  came the childish whine of eight year old Ashley. “You build evil inators all the time! Why can’t I do it with you?” the little girl insisted. Sometimes Mel swore her daughter was too smart for her own good.
“It’s too dangerous, honey,” Heinz replied, a sympathetic smile on his face.  Melinda knew he’d want nothing more than to let their daughter help him with his evil inventions, but he was far too protective to allow it to happen. He explained it to the child patiently, smiling at her: “Things blow up sometimes, and, and you’re too young to be handling /tools/! You could get hurt! I, I promise to let you build with me when you’re older!”Â
Without missing a beat, Ashley questioned, placing a tiny hand on her hip: “How much older? You built stuff when you were a kid!” Neither of her parents could keep from laughing. That girl had some wit. Heinz explained it to her a bit sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck: “Only because my parents couldn’t care less about me! We care about you, we won’t let you hurt yourself.” He pondered her question for a minute, before answering with a grin:  “… Heh, maybe when you’re 15 you can help! If … if you still want to!” He briefly wondered if a teenage Ashley would still have any interest in hanging out with her father. He hoped to evilness she would, because letting her help now was out of the question. “Y-yes, I, I think 15 is a safe age,” he muttered mostly to himself, trying to avoid second guessing his decision. Mel nodded, showing him she agreed with him, and he suddenly felt more confident about it.
“Fifteen?!” Ashley protested. “That’s a lifetime from now!” She crossed her arms, puffed up her cheeks and stomped, in what was the start of a very mild tantrum. Heinz tried to appease her; he hated when someone he loved was upset with him. “Honey, I’m, I’m sorry, it’s just too dangerous!” He looked at his wife for help, and Mel chimed in: “Ashley, I’m sorry, but dad’s word is final. And what did mommy tell you about throwing tantrums?” Her tone was kind, but firm. Ashley sighed dramatically and shuffled her feet; “You told me it’s not polite and that I have to be nice if I want to manipulate people into doing what I want them to do." Heinz grinned widely at his wife, and Mel beamed with pride at her daughter. “That’s my little evil girl!”
Ashley resigned herself to her fate, and looked up at her mother with round blue eyes that looked just like Heinz’s. “Then, can I tag along the next time you rob a bank, mommy?” Both parents laughed softly; their daughter was so determined to do evil deeds, it was absolutely endearing! Mel knelt, to get on the little girl’s level, and took Ashley’s hands in hers: “Not until you’re eighteen, honey.  You’d need a lot of training before pulling a successful heist.” The child opened her mouth to protest, but thought better of it and closed it again. She gazed from her mom to her dad, whining a little. “I just want to be cool like you guys!“Â
Hearing their daughter say that made their evil hearts melt. Mel couldn’t stop grinning, and her green eyes were sparkling. Heinz’s whole face lit up; he could barely contain how overjoyed he was, his grin spreading from ear to ear. “Y-you think your dad’s cool? Really?!” Ashley nodded, smiling to him; “Of course, dad! You’re the coolest! So is mom!” Heinz knelt down next to Mel, to kiss their daughter on the top of her head; he was so touched by her words.
“You’re already cool like we are!,” Mel assured Ashley, smiling broadly at her. “You just need to be a little more grown up to do the things we do. Just be patient, okay, sweetie?” Ashley nodded; “Okaaay, mom.” She gave each of her parents a warm hug and a kiss on the cheek . “I love you guys! Can I go play now?” Her parents told her they loved her too, and let her go play.
There was a hint of smugness in Ashley’s eyes after she heard them tell her how much they loved her. Heinz noticed; he exchanged a knowing glance with Mel, and the couple stifled their laughter. As Ashley turned to walk away, Mel called after her, smirking a little: “But you still can’t join us in our evil jobs until you’re older!”Â
“….Rats.”  Ashley would sulk about it all night.
If you don’t like Evil Girl, you’re probably wrong.Â
Plum lips with shimmery neutral eyes and golden undertones. Striking for all hair colours!
So I tried to write a Heinz and Melinda thing (Melinda is the name given to the “evil girl” by people that RP her on Twitter!) It’s not much and I literally wrote it in like an hour or less just now but I tried! I’ve had the idea for a while now, too…Â

Hey gorgeous did it hurt when you fell from heaven? ;)
                                        ” —— No,
but it certainly did when I crawled out of hell.”
{” Well I think that everyone deserves a invite, to have some fun for once ya know. plus you look as if you aren’t exactly going to crash it, or steal the money.” } Cinderella explained, she always did see the good in others.
Oh, she had to giggle at the utter irony of those words.
But of course she did so in a very innocent way, to avoid looking suspicious. "I'd never dream of stealing anything," she lied effortlessly. Truth be told she wasn't going to steal the money this time--- but she could. Oh, how she could! She was a high-end international thief who stole when someone hired her to.
And nobody had approached her to pull a heist at this party, so the money was safe this time around. Even though the challenge of stealing it would've been great fun for Mel, she wouldn't risk it without a client hiring her to do it. Heck, she didn't even have her equipment with her.
"Fair enough. I'm Melinda, by the way. Or just Mel is fine," she offered a handshake to the blonde, figuring if she was accepting an invite from the other girl she should be polite and introduce herself.
{ “Indeed dear, do you wanna go I have a extra invite.” Cinderella said handing it towards the teen, ah such youth those were the days.  ”well It’s a ball or charity, meaning rich people come from all over the world, to donate and dance the night away” }
"I would love to, thank you." She extended her hand to gracefully accept the invite and her eyebrows rose while she studied the piece of glossy paper. It looked legitimate.
Melinda was a very mistrusting person, and although she kept a calm smile on her lips she was feeling a little suspicious. So she had to ask: "Don't take it the wrong way, but why would you give that to someone you just met?" In Mel's world people didn't do favors without expecting something in return.
"And charity, huh? I see ... " A faint smirk tugged on her lips. The evil girl wasn't big on helping others ... but she absolutely loved to dance, and that was enough of a reason to attend the ball. "Dancing the night away sounds lovely to me!"
Ha! True indeed. Although it was the sweetness hidden in him that made ME fall in love…
"Well, I'll admit most villains have some sweetness in them. That's certainly the case with my bad boy, too."
A small, knowing smirk tugged on her lips as she practically sang her next words. "Evilness and sweetness, the perfect combination in a man." And then she noticed the clothes the other redhead was donning and chimed with interest: "That's a very peculiar outfit!" Normally the people in her circle didn't dress like that.
"Statistically speaking, it was a possibility, but no. I really didn’t."
" ... Fine." Although her retort was a tad begrudging, Mel decided the other woman was telling the truth. It didn't mean she was too pleased about it, though.
"But now that there's water everywhere what are we supposed to do?!" She grabbed the hem of her dress and twisted it to drain some of the liquid--- and to illustrate her point.

{ “Alright almost time for the ball,  It’s suppose to be packed tonight.” }
    "---- Did you say there's a ball tonight?"Â
Melinda perked up immediately and looked at the blonde girl with interest. Parties were so her thing!
"Tell me more about it!"
For someone who was always in-the-know and privy to social events, it was surprising (and frankly a little irritating) that Mel hadn't heard about this ball weeks, no, months ago. But she supposed all that really mattered was that she found out in time."Because I definitely plan on being there."
