Agatha grinned, âOhhhh, feeling a little hungry are we sir?â she teased, laughing a little as she continued to float around the space, âI wouldnât recommend it, I donât go down easy,â she stage whispered, then smirked and added, âWell sometimes I do but that involves lobster and a few bottles of Chardonnay.â Agatha was never one to deny herself anything she desired, power, knowledge, people, all came under the same headings of âwant itâ and âget it.â
âAh, you related to THE Faust, itâs a powerful name wrought with bad decisions; I swear Pandora led a life of less fuck-ups.â she floated close again and made to cup his chin in a hand, her sharp nails and charred fingers looking as though theyâd been burned through centuries ago, âAnd here you are,â she cooed, voice now surprisingly soft, âA little boy still bearing the sins of the father.â she sighed, then as abruptly as it came her heaviness returned to its usual levity, âDonât envy ya kiddo, between the weight of the name and the chip on your shoulder itâs amazing you donât live your life bent to the waist.â
âIâd say that makes you worthy, for the moment anyway, so youâve got nothing to fear from me.â Agatha didnât make an enemy out of every other magic-user she encountered; truthfully there were some she got on with quite well. The talented, so long as they remained so, had every right to their powers and provided they didnât cross her designs there was little need for battle. âThough living up to a family legacyâs no picnic.â
âIf you ever want a little lesson or two in moreâŚâ she twirled a finger slightly, âClean methods of demonic banishment just say; itâs been a while since I shared my knowledge and that eyes Iâm waiting to pick up havenât gone to bed yet, so I have time.â She grinned, knowing full well that was a loaded statement to leave unexplained.   Â
His gaze upon the woman took a noticeably sharpened turn as she teased him about his âhungerâ. Soul magic was powerful, but there werenât many out there that could recognize its subtle signs so readily. If anything it was just a testament to the power Agatha reportedly wielded - if the reports about her were to be believed. And Faust saw no reason that they shouldnât be heeded cautiously. â... Iâll make a note of that.â He stated with sarcasm at her innuendo .Â
A heavy sigh escaped him, though it should have came at no surprise that Agatha was completely aware of his father. âIndeed.â Was the only remark he had regarding âbad decisionsâ being tied to his family name. It wasnât as if he was free of fault, despite trying for so long to stay out from underneath his fatherâs twisted shadow. His body tensed defensively when the witch suddenly glided up to him and cupped his chin in her malformed fingertips.
âI am neither a child nor an amateur seeking tutelage in the arcane arts, Harkness...â Faust started, but eyed the mess he had made. âAdmittedly, however, it had been some time since my craft was turned against demon-kind. Perhaps some pointers are in order.â He added - the curiosity at her statement about eyes clear in his gaze though his body struggled to express the emotions in earnest. You could chalk it up to some sort of blessed, scholarly pursuit to take the opportunity to have even the slightest insight into the magics of Agatha Harkness without being on the receiving end of them.
