Summary: Youâre unable to grasp the luck you have. You were raised to run from danger, to go the opposite direction of bad influences. So when you somehow find yourself right in the center of it, you discover that running wasnât exactly what you were taught. It only took GhostFace and a pretty girl to remember that.
Bailey wakes, slow and unsure. He's alive, and he isn't sure why or how.
Right at the center of the theater, he sits up and scans his surroundings. In the distance, his spare gun lies there, waiting to be picked up.
He pulls himself up with a struggle, coughing as he staggers toward the gun. He picks up the pistol and grips the handle tightly, like an anchor to life.
Then, his phone rings. He freezes, the ringing echoing in the silent theater. He scans his surroundings once more, pistol aimed high, in search of threats.
He answers the phone, still on alert.
"I've got one question for you," Sam's voice resonates through his phone's speaker.
Bailey climbs up to the stage, desperate to complete his family's plan: kill Sam Carpenter.
"Oh yeah," Bailey says, his voice hoarse as always, but there's a tinge of pain and exhaustion in it. "What's that?" he asks, gun still raised, finger on the trigger.
"What's your favorite scary movie?" you say from somewhere in the theater, startling him. He shoots in the direction he assumes you are, but nothing comes from it. Your voice echoes, and he grits his teeth, frustration seeping in.
He whips around, his guard raising again, and he sees Billy Loomis's cloak is gone. He checks his pocket; Billy's mask was in his pocket. Now it's gone.
"You put on your true face, huh?" Bailey narrows his eyes, his hand beginning to tremble. "Your birthright. Poetic that you're going to die in itâ"
You pull a string, causing the mannequin tied to it to tilt a little. Bailey fires without hesitation, and you tiptoe away before he can spot you.
Nothing. Bailey tightens his hold on the pistol, jaw clenching.
"You know the truth now. Murder is in your blood," he snarls, glaring at the mannequin in front of him.
Behind him, his son's movie plays in reverse. It distracts him for only a second before he hears something sound on his left. He spins again and fires three shots.
"Stop fucking around and show yourself!" Bailey shouts when his clip empties. Still no Sam. He's quick to reload, and the theater remains silent. "I'm a fucking police officer! What are you gonna do, huh? Who do you think they're gonna believe?"
"Probably the one that's still alive."
At that, Bailey throws his phone away. He's distracted, and he doesn't see the silhouette behind him on the other side of the screen.
Sam steps through the screen, wearing Billy's cloak and mask. At the last second, the officer turns, and Sam stabs him over and over. His screams don't affect her; it worries her that it drives her to do it some more.
The gun in his hand falls to the ground, the clatter of its fall silent as Bailey's screams are heard. He drops to his knees, pleading but also seeking cover.
Sam towers over him, and he can see an evil glare behind the mask.
Bailey cowers, and you think you hear him whimper.
Tara limps onto the stage, wanting to witness what's about to go down. She glances at Sam, her sister as Ghostface.
Sam removes the mask, no longer wanting to associate herself with it.
"My father was a murderer," Sam lowers the knife in her hand. "But I'm not. No matter what you say, I'm better than that."
She shows mercy. Tara looks relieved.
Bailey cries, like a blubbering baby. "Thank you... thank you!" he gasps between breaths.
You watch from under the scaffolding's ladder, arms crossed. This is their ending to have, not for you.
The sisters share a look, heads tilting to mirror each other. You raise a brow, aware of what is going to follow.
"But you did fuck with my family..."
Sam jams the knife into his eye socket up to the hilt. The blade reaches his brain, no doubt. His body twitches, seizing, before she rips the knife out. He collapses, legs shaking as his brain dies.
Sam stares down at him, unfazed by her actions. Tara is a little disturbed but understands her sister's reasoning. They share another look and then walk through the screen, coming down from the stage.
You step back a few inches, wanting the sisters to have their privacy. You figure this would be a good time to check on Chad. You hope the jock is alive; you'll hate yourself if you left him alone to die.
At the sight of Chad leaning against the wall, you sigh in relief and move to check on him. He wakes with a jump, wincing and groaning in pain. You jump at his reaction, frowning.
"Dude, you scared me," you say, holding your hand up to your chest and shaking your head. His eyes fall shut again, and he fights to keep them open. You slap his face a few times, gently. "Come on, man, look alive... help should be arriving anytime now."
Chad blinks. "Is it over?"
You nod, smiling softly. "As JT said, dead and gone."
Chad laughs gently but regrets it as soon as he does. He groans, coughing a few times. You grimace, apologizing to him for the pain.
"My hero," he mumbles, then closes his eyes. You tilt your head. "I'm not dead, just tired," he says, his eyes remaining closed.
"Yeah, but when you're covered in blood and tired, it usually leads to death," you tell him. You pat his cheek again, forcing his eyes to open. "Keep those eyes open, Chadwick. We need you for the next film."
"Oh, God, I hope not," Chad murmurs.
You look over your shoulder and figure you've given the sisters enough time. You tell Chad once more to stay alive and promise him you'd be back. He slurs something about you always coming back to him. You assume he's dizzy from the blood loss and that he didn't mean more than that.
You hope.
You rejoin the sisters on the main floor, earning their attention as you step forward. You lift your arms up, wanting to ease the tension with an uplifting remark.
"Oh my God, that was so awesoâ"
You topple over from a huge force, groaning in pain as your eyes widen at the sight of a bloody and messy Ethan. You're quicker than him, crawling back away from him just in time to hear...
"Heads up!"
Kirby shoves the TV that killed Stu Mather from its shelf onto Ethan's head, smashing it into pieces. If that didn't kill him, you aren't sure what will.
You glance up at Kirby, a grateful and relieved look on your face. You were worried about her status too.
"Saw that in a scary movie once," she says as you throw her a thumbs up. She glances at the sisters, who also smile up at her, grateful.
You let yourself rest on the floor, dropping your head against it. "Can we get outta here?" you ask, and you can hear the sisters share a laugh at your words.
\\\\\
You examine the remaining items in the theater as you all wait. You're unable to control your facial expression as you look at each item. It's all so confusing.
A collection of all the stuff from events that occurred because you saw a movie? You can't comprehend that amount of dedication over a couple of movies.
In the distance, you can hear sirens, growing closer and closer. You lift your gaze up, straining to listen closely and you hope they were coming to help.
Richie's film cuts off and the screen suddenly shuts off then raises.
Minutes tick by until you see police and paramedics spill into the theater, your cousin not far behind them. You assume he's walking to you but then he walks by you, taking the woman in his arms.
You want to be offended but you understand completely. You do join him, sending him a grateful nod after he pulls away from Sam.
"You didn't leave us," Sam says in disbelief.
"This guy?" You say, scoffing after. "He's the black sheep of the family. The complete opposite of any of us. He sticks around, even when shit gets tough."
Your cousin gives you a quick glance, appreciative of your words.
"Not bad, cute boy," Tara says, appearing to give him her stamp of approval.
Danny smiles, looking between you all.
A paramedic walks over to the group, asking if any of you need help. You greet the paramedic, of course knowing his name. He examines you as you offer conversation, grimacing in between words as he cleans your wound. Danny glances at Tara and Sam, telling them not to ask how you somehow know every paramedic.
You all exit the theater once you're squared away, aware of the morning sun shining up in the sky.
The paramedic you know also patches Tara up, making her a makeshift arm sling with some wrap from his bag. Close by, Kirby is being wheeled out on a gurney. Adrenaline has wore off and she notices then a bullet in her left leg.
You excuse yourself from your paramedic friend, jogging over to join the sisters and Kirby.
"So what do you think you'll do now?" Kirby asks the sisters as they walk close to her gurney.
"Like Tara said," Sam adds, her gaze softening as she looks at her sister, "start living again. Start dealing with the future."
"And I'm gonna start dealing with the past," Tara chimes in, releasing a sigh, as if a weight has been lifted from her shoulders.
Kirby, observing the exchange, catches your eye and smiles. "I hear you were the unwitting hero," she says, her tone light, but you shake your head quickly, dismissing the notion.
"Nah, Sam's the hero," you reply, casting a glance at Sam. She smiles, exhausted but grateful, and the gesture makes your chest warm. "I was just the distraction," you shrug, downplaying your role.
Kirby's smile deepens. "Distraction or not, you still helped; that means something to people like us." Her eyes flick between Sam and Tara, and you catch their shared look. "If you ever need me, call," Kirby says firmly, looking each of you in the eye. "We're all part of the same fucked-up family now. And legacy... it doesn't always have to be a bad thing. Okay?"
Her words seem to hit hardest with Sam, whose eyes well with unshed tears. She nods, her voice barely above a whisper. "Okay."
Suddenly, a voice calls from behind, "Hey, we got one more in here!"
All of you turn to see Chad being wheeled in on a gurney. Despite the oxygen mask covering his face, his familiar grin shines through. Relief washes over you, and you beam at him as he gives you a thumbs-up, a silent but reassuring signal that he's going to be okay.
"My hero," Chad repeats, sluggish with a loopy smile. He looks at Tara and his smile only widens. "I like them. Can we keep 'em?"
You look at them, expecting an answer.
The sisters share a look before they look back at you.
Tara's smile widens as she looks from Chad to you, her eyes softening with a mix of relief and affection. She shrugs playfully, clearly trying to keep things light after everything that happened. "Well, I don't know... What do you think, Sam? Think we can keep 'em?"
Sam chuckles, wiping the last of her tears from her eyes, her exhaustion still evident but her mood a bit lighter now. "I mean, they did save our asses, so... maybe."
Chad appears happy with their answers, the paramedic takes it as his cue to wheel him away. As Chad is wheeled away by the paramedics, Tara and Sam exchange a glance that you miss by watching him go.
When you turn around, Sam is some distance away, finding yourself alone with Tara.
"Woah," you mumble, stepping closer to Tara. "Am I in trouble?"
"A little," Tara begins, and you falter, frowning at her words. "You disappeared on us."
You scratch the back of your neck, nervous. "Yeah," you clear your throat, suddenly embarrassed by your cowardliness. "I'm sorry. I thought I could handle it, but I... guess I panicked."
Tara shrugs. "I don't blame you. This world..." she gestures to the amount of cops and ambulances surrounding you. "Its not for everyone."
You nod once, unable to meet her eyes. The guilt is back in the pit of your stomach.
"That scar on your hand," you start and you don't miss how she tries to hide her hand. "From the first attack?"
Tara looks down at her hand, tracing the scar with her thumb. "I'm sorry," she says instead, blinking back tears. You're not exactly sure what she's sorry for. "We knew the consequences of getting close to anyoneâI knew the consequences. But I saw Mindy and how happy she was with Anika. I tried the typical teenage rebellion to avoid the emptiness I felt because my sister's past was always something that...that was attached to me, too."
You nod, remaining silent to allow her to finally express something you assume she has never shared before.
Tara's voice wavers as she continues, her thumb still tracing the scar as if it holds all the weight of her pain. "But I realized I couldn't escape it. No matter what I did, I was always going to be tied to that legacy. It wasn't just Sam's past... it was mine, too." She takes a shaky breath, and you notice how hard she's trying to hold it all together.
"I pushed people away. I thought it would protect me, you know? If I didn't let anyone in, then I wouldn't have to watch them get hurt because of me." She glances up at you, her eyes brimming with unshed tears. "But you... you came back. Even when you had every reason not to."
Your heart aches at her words, the vulnerability in her voice. You step closer, your hand twitching by your side, wanting to reach out but unsure if it's the right moment. "I ran because I was a coward, it had nothing to do with you," you admit, shaking your head. "I came back for you...and a little for me." you add.
Tara's gaze softens at your admission, the tension between you both shifting. She looks down for a moment, like she's processing your words, and then back up, her eyes meeting yours with a quiet intensity.
"I've run before at a critical time when I was needed," you meet her eyes. "I needed to prove to myselfâshow my dad he taught me well. You don't run when shit gets hard, you keep going."
There's a silence between you two, one that Tara gives you, to give you time.
"You don't run when things get hard," you repeat softly, the words echoing your father's lesson. "You stick around long enough to prove you can handle it. To fight for what matters."
Tara looks at you with a depth of emotion that makes your chest tighten. She inhales sharply, as though your words hit her in a place she's kept guarded for so long. "Fight for what matters," she repeats quietly, almost as if testing how the words feel on her lips. "I never thought... I mattered enough to fight for."
You look at her incredulously, because was she not there to witness everything her sister went through? "Are you kidding?" She meets your eyes, eyebrows furrowing together. "Your sister fights for you. I witnessed her wrath first hand the night of the party. She almost tased me."
That reminds Tara of the night of that party, eyes rolling at the memory. "Yeah, not a great night for all of us, then," she mutters, earning a laugh from you. "You witnessed that mess and still stayed?"
You chuckle. "Trust me, the thought crossed my mind, several times," you confess. "But a poorly dressed pirate had eyes that I couldn't get out of my head," you admit, a soft smile pulling at your lips as you look at Tara. She blinks in surprise, caught off guard by the lightness of your words amidst the heaviness of the conversation.
Tara shakes her head, a small laugh escaping her. "A poorly dressed pirate?" she repeats, the tension between you two easing for just a moment. "I can't believe you stuck around after that disaster."
You shrug, stepping a little closer. "I stuck around because I wanted to. You were worth it. You are worth it."
The weight of your words hangs in the air, and you can see Tara struggling to accept that. She opens her mouth to protest, but you cut her off gently. "Look, I know it's hard for you to believe that. But I came back because I realized somethingâI didn't want to keep running from the things that scared me. And that included you."
Tara's lips part slightly, but no words come out. Instead, she just stares at you, processing everything, her thumb still absently tracing the scar on her hand.
"You can quit avoiding me now, Tara," you say, recalling the conversation from the night before. "I'm not going anywhere, not anymore. Besides, I don't mind a little adventure. My life's been too bland these last couple of years."
Tara breathes out a laugh.
You smile at the sound. "I also managed to live out my favorite character's fantasy for the night."
Tara's eyebrow raises. "Favorite character?"
"Deadpool," you say, expecting a reaction but she doesn't give one. Instead, her eyebrow only rises higher. "Marvel-Fox anti-hero? One of the best to break fourth walls?"
The look on Tara's face exasperates you.
"Oh, this is ridiculous!" You exclaim, scoffing. "How have I gotten heat for not watching horror movies but you've never seen Deadpool? Any of them?"
Tara shakes her head, then pauses. "Chad may have mentioned it but..." she shrugs.
"Unbelievable," you mutter, dropping your head, feigning disappointment. "Here I thought I was about to bond with someone who has love for movies but she's never seen Deadpool?" You say incredulous.
Tara laughs again, enjoying your frustration. "I'm more of a horror person. Have you seen The Babadook?" She throws back at you.
You frown, shaking your head at that title of the movie. "Never even heard of it," you admit, shrugging. "Sounds...scary."
Tara sends you a deadpan glare. You nod, suddenly aware of your words.
"You're missing out," Tara suddenly gets serious. "It's not just a scary movieâit's deeper than that. It's about grief and dealing with loss."
You note the seriousness behind her word. "Okay," you nod, surprising her with your next words. "I'll watch it. But you gotta promise me two things."
Tara waits for you to continue.
"One, you watch it with me," she lets out a laugh, "and two, we watch Deadpool immediately after it."
Tara rolls her eyes, but she's smiling. "Deal."
"Oh, and," you add one more thing. "You gotta put up with me quoting it. Especially in fitting moments like now," you shrug.
Tara tilts her head. "How's that?"
"Your crazy matches my crazy," you quote, enjoying the confused frown on her face.
Tara squints, eyeing you suspiciously.
You just shrug, not offering her a response. "Guess you'll have to watch it and find out."
Tara shakes her head with a playful eye roll. "Deal. But remember, we're watching The Babadook first," you groan, your attempt failing.
"Fine, but actually, first, I'd like to prove to youâmaybe, over a cup of coffeeâor breakfast because I'm starving," you add quickly, earning another laugh from Tara, "that I do, in fact, plan on sticking around. At least, until you're sick of me. I'm told I can get really annoying once you get to know me."
Tara smiles, the tension in her shoulders easing. She glances down, wiping at her eyes as she tries to gather herself. "Annoying, huh? I guess we'll see about that."
You can see the shift in her demeanorâa mix of vulnerability and cautious hope. It's clear your words have reached her, but she's still holding onto her guard. You step closer, the space between you feeling less like a barrier and more like a bridge.
"I'm serious, though," you say, keeping your tone light but sincere. "Coffee, breakfast, whateverâjust let me show you I mean it. Sort of like a...breakfast date. You don't have to push me away. Not anymore."
Tara exhales deeply, her gaze softening as she meets your eyes. "You really want to stick around for all of this? I mean... I'm a mess."
"We're all a mess," you reply with a smirk. "But I think you're definitely worth sticking around for. Anyone who makes me run towards a knife is definitely worth staying for."
Tara laughs softly, the sound genuine this time, and it fills you with a sense of relief. "Alright," she says, a hint of playfulness returning to her voice. "But don't say I didn't warn you."
You grin, finally allowing yourself to close the distance and gently reach for her free hand. "I'll take my chances. And it's time for me to expand my movie taste, anyway."
"Can you guys just kiss already so we can go!"
The voice is familiar, to the both of you, so you turn to look. Mindy stands there with Anika, and they wave when you look at them.
Tara groans, covering her face with her hand now as her cheeks flush a deep red. "Of course," she mutters under her breath, clearly embarrassed.
You chuckle, turning to Mindy and Anika. "You two really have impeccable timing, you know that? Also, you're alive!"
Mindy smirks, crossing her arms. "If Chad's alive, I gotta stick around, too." you chuckle, sharing a look with Tara. "Kiss her, Dennis." Mindy cups her hands around mouth, causing her voice to travel some more.
Sam laughs from where she stands next to your cousin, watching silently.
You feel the blush on your cheeks, shaking your head in hopes to hide it from everyone. You return your gaze to Tara and arch a brow.
"Let's just go," Tara says, pointing her head towards them. You nod and grab Tara's hand again, ignoring the boos you hear from your roommate and her girlfriend.
As you take Tara's hand, you can't help but laugh at the playful boos from Mindy and Anika. Tara squeezes your hand tightly, trying to hide her own embarrassment, but there's a small smile tugging at her lips.
But as the boos stop, Mindy getting in the ambulance with Anika to join her brother at the hospital, you feel a pull on your hand. Tara pulls you in, her free hand going to your neck to pull you down and connecting your lips.
The kiss catches you completely off guard, but the moment Tara's lips meet yours, everything else seems to fade away. Her touch is gentle yet firm, as though she's been waiting for this just as much as you have. Your heart races, and for a split second, all the chaos around you disappears.
You respond instinctively, tilting your head slightly to deepen the kiss, savoring the warmth of her lips against yours. It's tender, filled with unspoken feelings, and when Tara pulls back just a little, she lingers close enough that you can still feel her breath against your skin.
The look on her face, it proves you right, she is definitely worth it.
Her cheeks are flushed, but this time it's not just from embarrassment. Tara looks up at you with a shy but satisfied smile, her fingers still resting against your neck. "I think I'll take you up on that breakfast date," she whispers.
You nod, licking your lips. "Great. I work at the hospital Chad's going to and the breakfast there is fantastic," you say, and she shakes her head with a laugh, moving to grab ahold of your arm. She knows you're serious but she doesn't mind.
She stops for a second and looks back, you follow her gaze. "Sam?" her sister meets her eyes, a small smile on her lips. "You coming?"
Sam exchanges a glance with Danny, then their hands connect, fingers intertwining as they walk over to join you guys.
Tara's smile softens as she watches her sister, a sense of relief washing over her now that Sam is safe and by her side. Sam gives her a reassuring nod, her hand firmly intertwined with Danny's as they approach.
"I wouldn't miss it," Sam replies, her voice steady but filled with warmth. You smile, the bond between the sisters filling your heart, strengthened by everything they've been through. Tara squeezes your arm, and you feel the connection between them without a word needing to be said.

Summary: You will never, in life or afterlife, if such a thing exists, meet anyone as infuriating, rage inducing, entitled, or frankly awful, as Astrid fucking Deetz. There isnât a single thing youâd like more than to never be around her, but as your luck would have it, you just canât stay away from her.

-If you find a man that's worth a damn and treats you well, then he's a fool, you're just as well, hope it gives you hell-
Work sweet work, well, compared to your other work. The smell of old paper, layers of dust hidden from passing glances since the place was rarely properly cleaned. Not that you blamed anyone working here, you helped with the cleaning twice since starting to work here in the library, and your muscles ached at the mere thought of those times. Moving shelves upon shelves worth of books was not a fun activity. Still, the next one was still far off and perhaps youâd even be away from this city by then. Going off to study somewhere else, somewhere other than your hometown.
It was a slow day, and you leaned back, relaxing with one earbud in so you werenât completely mentally absent from your workplace. You could just read, you likely will, in a bit, but you had a long sleepless night last night, studying and catching up on your other work as well.
Eventually you cracked open a book you meant to get your hands on for a long, long time, and now it was finally available at your workplace. Perks of working in the library, you guessed. Just as you were about to start reading the doors opening and a rather annoying girl walking in made your mood drop instantly. She didn't even look at you, just began looking through the shelves, clearly looking for something you could easily help her with if she wasn't so damn proud. You took a deep breath and walked over to the girl, at least you could get it over with quickly. "Deetz, what are you looking for?"
And she ignored you, completely, she didn't even go around you and instead moved with such certainty that you actually had to step back so she wouldn't walk into you.
Infuriating entitled brat.
"This would be so much easier if someone worked here," she had the nerve to complain as your jaw dropped and you simply looked at her, flabbergasted by the girl's behavior.
"Unbelievable," you shook your head as your friend and co-worker Alex came up to the two of you.
"Hey, could you help me find a book?" she immediately asked him, and he looked between you and her.
You just shrugged. "You're not invisible, good for you," you didn't leave yet, mostly out of spite. Astrid Deetz would not have the satisfaction of knowing she got under your skin, and she especially would not have the satisfaction of you backing away.
"What the- oh, you two are just playing another one of your games," he decided, completely missing the absolute dislike bordering on hatred between you and Astrid Deetz.
"I am not playing any games," you both said and the same time and huffed when you realized that.
"Would you look at that, you're in sync as well," he whistled as if he was trying to tease you.
"Bullshit!" you both denied it, once more at the same time and you just waved him off and went back to your desk. Pride and the damn Deetz gloating over her ability to indirectly annoy you be damned, you couldnât stand being anywhere near her.
Eventually, your teasing, traitorous coworker joined you. âShe really likes reading, doesnât she? And youâd think sheâd be some rich kid who scoffs at the very idea of borrowing books instead of buying them, or even hate having the actual book in her hands instead of reading an e-book,â Alex commented, sounding actually impressed by the short annoyance.
You just grunted as a response, after all, youâd never admit you did notice what he just now pointed out. If there were two things one could count on as far as Astrid Deetz was involved was that she hated her mother and loved reading. Alex did not need to know you agreed with him in any way. Youâd rather die than admit anything nice about the girl, even if deep down you did admire her love for books and reading.
âYouâre not going to answer?â he probed for answers, though he should know better by now.
âIâve got nothing to say,â you muttered and leaned onto your hand, if you could just avoid Astrid for the rest of your life youâd be the happiest person alive, but no, you just needed to bump into her at least once a day. Either in the library, or at your other work. Granted, it was mostly at the library, but sometimes she would drop by and visit her step-grandmother, who you worked for for the past year. That was, beside Delia sometimes getting ridiculous ideas, the only actual downside of your other work.
Imagine your surprise when you went to work one day and saw Astrid there, you nearly quit right then and there, but Dilia paid fairly well all things considered and you needed the money if you wanted to pursue better education.
~X~
Astrid did not enjoy making trips to the parts of the town where her family might be, she seldom wanted anything to do with them, especially her mother, but it also began including her step-grandmother after she went and hired the worst possible candidate. You.
But, she had to go and visit a store a few floors above her grandmother so, here she was, in the elevator and certain she would not run into you mere hours after your encounter at the library. She wasnât that unlucky, was she? How she almost always ended up visiting during your shift was beyond her grasp. Maybe there was something in all the bullshit her mother talked about and she was actually cursed with how often she encountered the one person she despised the most.
The elevator stopped and the doors opened and she nearly didnât look up to see who was coming in. She should have ignored it, should have stared at the wall or something, but no, no, she just had to look!
Astrid could not believe her misfortune as you, carrying a fairly big box, walked into the elevator one floor above her and so far down from her own floor so she would need to actually be in a closed space with you. And she despised the very idea of that. So, just as the doors were about to close she bolted outside.
"What the- that was reckless Deetz!" she heard you yelling. And if there was even a hint of worry in your voice it was absolutely because her grandmother would rope you into whatever funeral arrangement she would choose for her if Astrid happened to tragically pass away.
"Shut it!" she yelled back.
"Fucking chihuahua!" you cursed, and she could feel her blood pressure skyrocketing as the elevator went up. You and your awful nickname for her.
"Damn barnacle!" she yelled back loud enough for you to possibly hear her. She would have the last word no matter what! Not that she was interested in you, she just heard a thing or two about you in passing. You were the same age as Astrid, yet youâve been working this past yeah, trying to get by and pay for better college.
Barely any difference in age, yet such different circumstances. While Astrid could do nothing for the rest of her life and still be fine you didnât have that luxury, hell, you sent and started another part-time job at the library a few months back.
And in those rare moments Astrid would actually notice you despite trying her best not to, she never once heard or saw you complaining about anything. She was actually the only reason for complaining you ever had as far as she could tell. So, while she could find it in herself to admit your work ethic was somewhat admirable, you still could go right back to whatever hell you came out of.
Because that is exactly what you deserved. Hell.
~X~
You really should have taken the stairs, but the box you were carrying would have been a pain in your ass if you went with that. Sore muscles might still be a better alternative to having this encounter with Astrid. âChihuahua,â you gritted out through your teeth as you set the box down.
âAstrid?â you jumped when Delia suddenly spoke up.
You stared at her blankly, as if she needed to ask. Sheâs seen several of your and Astridâs hateful clashes.
âShe takes after her mother,â the older woman commented as you began pulling out different art supplies from the box.
You had no idea why Delia would even tell you anything about Astrid. You did not need to know, didnât care about knowing. âI find it hard to imagine anyone could be as infuriating as her,â you frowned, causing Delia to laugh, almost delighted by the comment.
âOh, you have no idea. I reckon Astridâs attitude is karma finally paying a visit to Lydia,â she sure sounded certain of that claim and you just hummed, internally feeling sorry for whoever had to deal with Astrid being their karma.
âBy the way, Mr. Deetz wonât be joining us today?â you asked, noticing the absence of Deliaâs husband.
âNo, no, he went bird-watching,â she dismissed and you nodded, knowing just how much the man loved doing so, even if it meant traveling the great distances.
A/N: Well, this is a short chapter, but, you know, just testing the waters of this enemies to lovers story, also, I wanna give a few days to most of you to actually watch the movie and then, starting from chapter 2, I can get into spoiler territory. Anyway, tell me what you think and if youâd like to be on the taglist?
so glad you all liked the headcanons i previously made and had a lot of fun doing, because itâs something i can do more frequently and consistently than my long form fics, which i promise i am hard at work doing. here are a few more :) also, kiss with a fist [ii] out soon
***also i wrote this and i think (?) i cooked? would you want this as an actual story at some point? cause i was doing this a bit lightheartedly and then i was like wait a minute- i usually struggle to think of plots but this came super free-flowing
tara wants absolutely nothing to do with you at first. she doesnât trust easy, and some random kid chad met in class is not going to quickly break down that barrier, no matter how not-fugly you are
but chad feels like he can really trust you. you grow to become best friends over time, and he's still healing from ethan's betrayal.
even after you've won everyone else over in the group, tara is the stubborn one who refuses to acknowledge your presence
it all changes at a singular party. you stand up for a girl being screamed at by her boyfriend and shoved, and even though he tries to fight you, you don't budge
he's a massive guy on the football team, known around campus for being super jacked and picking fights, and though you wouldn't win in a million years and she can see you're scared, you don't move a damn inch from in between them
she doesn't say anything to you while it's happening or while anyone else is around, but when you're on the roof, after chad's come to help you, staring out into the city, she finds you alone against her better judgement, and asks if you're okay
you give her a weak smile, say "no," and she nods and just sits next to you for a while. you don't say anything either, but you appreciate it
tara slowly opens up to you more. she actually starts to listen when you speak, and what she finds is that you're so much smarter, and sweeter, than she realised. you share a lot of similar interests she had missed until that point, and you bring her a sense of peace and happiness, whenever she sees you
even though sam still struggles to see you as one of them, tara finds herself defending you now, and with it, realising she just might want you more than as her friend
she hasn't had a crush that intensely childlike since amber, and now that you're there, she's a bit apprehensive
but you're you, and things happen, and you kiss one night, over at her apartment, while you're watching a movie. you're both with your eyes locked on the screen, until the music swells and suddenly you're looking at each other. It happens so quickly but it feels so right.
when you ask her if she's okay with this and if she's comfortable, it makes her heart flutter in a way she doesn't feel she deserves
she's definitely apprehensive about letting your relationship grow. ghostface has brought her life a hell that she doesn't want you to experience it. but you remind her thousands of hells are worth it to be with her every day
you finally get together on a warm summer day, right after your semester has ended
now that tara's experienced a life with you, she's upset that she had to live a life before
she clings to your chest and loves to lay on top of you, on the sofa. she doesn't seem like she would be, but she's a massive cuddler. she didn't have much physical affection as a child, with her mom and sam being gone, and so she makes up for lost time by hugging or hand holding whenever she can
you guys have silly arguments, where it's clear neither of you are taking your side especially seriously, and you argue the most outrageous things. you'll make her laugh until there are tears in her eyes and then tackle her in a hug
whenever you're running late for morning classes, ninety-nine percent of the time, it's because tara begged you for five more minutes to cuddle in bed, or just straight-up wouldn't roll off you, even when you reminded her you had to go.
she's little spoon sized, but she actually loves being big spoon, because she'll squeeze you against her and hold you tight. when she wakes up in a cold sweat, having a nightmare about woodsboro, you're right there, peacefully sleeping, and it helps her calm down and ground herself
she had a thing for a while, about not wanting you to see the scars on her stomach. she thought they meant she was damaged, and tara insisted you guys fucked in the dark for a while, until you asked her directly about it one day, like the good communicator you are
tara tends to bury her head in the sand when it comes to being direct to talk to you about something, but you communicate well
upon explanation, you insist nothing could make her ugly to you. she cries when you say you'll love her no matter what, and you see her completely in the light. your look of awe at her beauty, and your tender fingers reaching out to brush against it, just make her fall even harder
idk what else to put, did i yap for a long time?
okay so i kind of want to make this a story now? would you be down
âyou hit me once, i hit you back, you gave a kick, i gave a slapâ

===+++===
The moment your front door opened on its hinges, Tara Carpenter was pushing past you and barging straight into your apartment, stepping right over the threshold and checking you with her shoulder. You barely had a chance to process it, before she had wandered down the hall and into your kitchen in a blur.
You rolled your eyes, knowing you were in for an annoying ass conversation and slamming the door shut. âWhat do you want?â You called into your own apartment loud enough for her to hear you in the other room.
âDonât be a prick about it. This is the last place I wanted to go,â she shot back, and you sighed to yourself in your dark hallway before fixing your hair in the mirror and following her inside. There was only about an hour of her bullshit you could put up with and then youâd be saved by the bell anyhow.
âWhatever happened to âhello,â Tara?â You said, crossing your arms and coming in to against the doorframe. She had jumped up onto your counter, legs swinging and fingers gripping the edge of the blue ice glass tiles. In her left hand she picked up the bottle of wine you had left out next to some glasses and began to read the label.
"Lecture me later,â she said, not looking up at you, You were about to reply, or more aptly, tell her to get the hell out of your apartment, but she put the bottle down and narrowed her eyes at you, clearly struggling to say what she was really there for.
âLook, (Y/n), I need your help.â Ah. There it was.
"Hah," you scoffed without hesitation. "No."
She threw up her hands. "I didnât even say what I was asking for.â
âStill, no. Iâm not helping you.â
âCould you just not be an asshat for five minutes and listen to me? Like, is that too hard for you? Are you medically incapable?" She shot back.
"You're sitting on my counter. I didn't bust into your house and start making demands but here you are in mine,â you said.
"I'm asking for a favour," said Tara, raising her voice. "Asking."
"Wasn't much of a question though, was it," you replied. Maybe being a dick back to her would make her leave. She had always been able to dish it but never able to take it, and you wanted to make her. "You said 'I need a favour.' There's no question in that."
"No, I actually said I need your help, now would you shut up and listen?"
You scowled. "Y'know, I'm not really in a helpful mood tonight."
"Like you have something better to do,â Tara scoffed, raising her eyebrows at you.
"And what if I do?"
"Then I'd say you're lying. What, you donât want to help me because youâre watching your stupid show, or reading or something?â she challenged back, getting up off your counter and walking towards you. You straightened up, glaring down at her. She only came up to about your chest, but the short girl still did her best to seem intimidating.
With you she always frustratingly failed to even make the smallest dent, though that probably stemmed from the fact you could pick her up and punt her like a football if you wanted to. On the days she managed to really piss you off, the thought grew more enticing.
"For your information, I was supposed to have a date," you said. Tara blinked at this, looking down from your stupid face. You wore a thick black turtleneck and some pleated black pants that hung stylishly from your waist. The wine made sense now, and Tara felt like an idiot.
âWhatâd you pay them?â she clapped back, covering for the feeling of intense heat rising to her cheeks. This was humiliating. She had come begging for your help of all people- you, and now she had nothing to show for it but the stupid, smug look on your stupid, smug face.
âHa ha,â you said, dryly. âGet out.â
âNo.â
âYes,â you insisted.
"So you're busy thenâŚâ she trailed off.
âYes.â
âNooo,â she groaned, throwing up her hands in frustration.
You weren't sure what it was, maybe the pout of her lip or the shining of her eyes, but you shut your own for a second and let out a sigh. "Why? What's the favour?"
Tara shook her head in a generally amusing display of defeat. "It's whatever. Have fun on your date," she said, heading for the door and trying to brush past you, but you reached your arm across the doorway, stopping her from going.
"No, what's-" you stopped, rolling your eyes upon realising you were about to help Tara Carpenter of all people- "What's the favour, Tara?" Her face instantly lit up with a bright, beaming smile, the exact opposite of what it had been before, and it suddenly occurred to you she had been playing you like a fiddle.
"Oh my god, you're actually helping for once! Did you finally wake up on the right side of the bed?â
"Don't push it," you muttered. "I don't even know what I'm agreeing to, yet."
"See, about that..." she trailed off.
"What.â
âWe have to make Sam really, really mad.â
"What?â
"Yeah..."
You shook your head at her. "Never mind. I'm not helping you anymore."
"What!?"
"You're trying to get me murdered," you said. "I don't have a death wish."
Tara was fully frustrated now, dark eyes fiery and staring up at you in the candle lighting. âYou donât even know what it is youâre doing to make her mad yet!â
âDoesnât matter, if itâs Sam I donât want to do it.â
âIt would be a big help!â Tara said, clasping her hands in front of her like a prayer. You narrowed your eyes at her, more upset her expression and clear desperation was actually working on you, and that you felt compelled to help this idiot with an undoubtedly idiotic plan.
âWhat are you trying to do?â
Tara jumped up and down in excitement, smiling widely in a way you had rarely seen her. âOkay! Okay, so Sam said last month that she didnât want me going to parties and meeting people because she was worried they were murderers.â
âUh huh,â you said.
âBuuut, she said I could go if I had someone always with me. Like, someone with me that she approved of. So I didnât wander off to hook up or drink, which is, yâknow, the actual fun âcollege partyâ stuff.â
âUh huh.â
âThe thing is though, that if I had a âpartner,ââ she raised her fingers to put quotes around it, âthen Sam wouldnât need to worry about me doing that, because sheâd assume Iâd be with them, hanging out, or even if we did go to a party, it would be together. Buddy system style.â
You raised your eyebrows, realising where this was probably going. âUh huh?â
âWhich is where youâd come in. Sam wouldnât trust just anybody, if I told her I was seeing someone. But she would trust someone from our group, who she knows for sure isnât going to murder me. And you- as fucking annoying as you are- are exactly that.â She had a twinkle in her eyes when she explained it to you, and you realised Tara had probably been plotting this- or at least considering it- for a while now, the little devil.
âYou really expect Sam to believe we can tolerate each other?â You asked, squeezing your arms tighter against your chest. âShe knows how much I hate you, and only person I hate more is her.â
âTrust me, Iâve complained about you to her too,â she rolled her eyes. âBut you were literally my only option. Call it a romance of passion. We only âhatedâ other to cover up for our real feelings or whatever. Sam doesnât have to like you but she definitely trusts you.â
âHow romantic,â you wrinkled your nose, disgusted by the suggestion. âWait, why am I your only option? Chad is right there, heâs already in love with you and everything. Heâs like the built-in boyfriend.â
She winced. âSee, I thought about that. But I just know it would probably hurt him, with the hooking up and it not being real. He probably wouldnât feel too great about me âcheatingâ on him.â Tara did the finger quotes around it again and you let out a whistle.
âWow, so you do have a heart.â
She scoffed. âMore than you do. Besides, we only need to pretend to be together until I find someone actually tolerable. After that, youâre free again.â
âI had a date tonight,â you narrowed your eyes at her.
âBut youâre still here talking to me for some reason?â She raised her eyebrows at you. âAnd the way you said âhadâ Iâm thinking you donât anymore.â Tara could be annoyingly perceptive sometimes. She always seemed to zero in on the way you spoke or what you said.
âI wasnât too excited for it anyways,â you grumbled, and Tara laughed, realising she had been correct and being all too pleased with herself. She clasped her hands together.
âWell then. Are you going to help me, or are you going to glare at me some more?â
âThe second one sounds really appealing right now,â you shot back.
âOh, come on. Donât be too proud of an asshole to admit this is a great plan.â
âItâs a terrible plan, and itâs absolutely going to fail when Sam tries to murder me.â
âBut you didnât say no.â
You looked at her for a long minute, contemplating if this was really the path you were going to go down. You let out a sigh, shaking your head. âIâll do it. But youâll sure as hell owe me.â
âYeah yeah,â Tara waved you off, beaming from ear to ear. âGreat! Weâre going on a double date with her and Danny this Friday.â
âWhat?!â Your mouth dropped open.
âYep,â she said, annoyingly skipping down your hallway. âIâll text you the address and time!â she said.
âNow wait a minute-â you called after her, but she had already latched open your door and left, leaving you to watch her go. Fuck, this would end terribly. You sighed again, taking out your phone to cancel your date.
===+++===
This was so unbelievably stupid. The longer you stood outside the Italian restaurant, the more you regretted agreeing to help her.
The restaurant was nice at least, with giant marble stones and dark red accents, and you could see through the massive float glass windows that the lighting mostly featured romantic candles and potted floribunda roses against dark wood. It would ironically be the most expensive date you ever had, and you realised that with bitter sentimentality.
Tara was late, like always, and you had begun to pace along the sidewalk, tracing the cracks with the centre of your shoe while you waited for her. It was boring, out on the street, and the more couples that passed you and walked right inside, the more nauseous you felt. You grabbed your phone out of your pocket, thumbing over the cracked display.
She was ten minutes late. You swiped open your text messages, still seeing nothing from her.
are you here yet???
You sent the message hastily, waiting for the typing icon to pop up or even show that she read it, but nothing. Suddenly the screen lit up and your phone started vibrating it, and you almost dropped it in surprise. âFuck,â you cussed quietly, seeing the call incoming screen and Little Shit (do not pick up) appear at the top. You frowned, hitting the green button and accepting the call.
âWhere the hell are you??? I donât know if you noticed but weâre late,â you immediately said into the phone, aware of just how annoyed you sounded.
âRelax,â replied Tara on the other end of the line, and you could hear her eye roll from here. âDanny is a late guy too, Sam gets on him all the time for it.â
âYeah well, Iâm standing outside waiting for your late ass.â You felt someone awkwardly push past you and you winced, spinning around to usher them an apology.
âIâll be there in a minute, I had to pick something up,â she dismissed you. âJust donât let Sam and Danny see you. I told them we were showing up together.â
âWell how the hell am I supposed to do that?â You frowned, looking around. There was a row of bushes off to the side but you were too tall and not at all willing to crouch behind them like an idiot.
âI donât know. Figure. It. Out.â Tara spoke slowly like you were a child and you narrowed your eyes.
âYâknow, Iâm doing you a favour?â
âHa!â Tara exclaimed, and you hissed, pulling your ear away from the phoneâs speaker at the loud noise. âSo you admit, it was a favour!â
âShut up and get your ass over here," you grumbled before hanging up shortly, looking around and wandering down a side alley. It smelled disgusting back there, in the ironic, almost-dark of sunset, and it would've been a lovely night to take a walk on, had it not been for wasting it on Tara of all people.
You pulled out a box of cigarettes from your pocket, fumbling one out and sticking it between your lips. You stuck the box back in your pocket and pulled out your fancy lighter that had your name engraved on the side, thumbing over the lettering for a moment before lighting the cigarette and sticking it between your two fingers.
It felt stupid, to standing there next to the dumpster and watching some rats scurry by, but you let out a huff of smoke, remembering how much Tara had seemed excited for the parties and having fun. You didn't like her very much, nor could you really claim to be much of a saint, but you weren't a monster either.
"What are you doing??" called a voice from the end of the alley, and you spun to see Tara near the line of bushes with a bouquet of flowers in her hands. She had her eyes narrowed at the cigarette, looking frustrated.
"Having a smoke. Why, want one?"
She let out a sigh of exasperation, marching straight up to you. "You can't go on a double date with my sister smelling like cigarette smoke. You know she hates that kind of stuff."
"I've smoked with her, before. Her and Mindy," you argued, pulling it from your lips to take a breath in. "I've literally given her cigarettes."
Tara glared at you, taking it from your hand and crushing it under her heel. "Yeah, well, she still hates you, and now that we're allegedly 'dating' it's different. We can't give her any reason not to trust us, and you smoking cigarettes is going to make her think I'm going to start smoking cigarettes."
You shrugged. "If she hates me so much, then she's never gonna let us 'hang out' alone or go to parties anyway."
"No, she-" Tara rolled her eyes. "She hates you, but she sure as hell trusts you. Enough to babysit me."
"Fine. What's with the flowers?" you asked, crossing your arms.
"You got them for me," Tara shrugged. "Pinnacle of romance."
You whistled to be funny, but it was a little bit impressive that she had planned that out. The plan wasn't especially well thought out, but she at least had her moments of surprising intelligence, which you couldn't begrudge her.
"Well then," she frowned. "Let's go, lover." She clutched the flowers in one hand and slid her arm to interlock with yours. You narrowed your eyes but started to walk her in.
"Don't call me that. It's weird," you muttered.
"Get used to it. Tonight we're the happiest couple on planet Earth."
The restaurant was somehow even nicer on the inside than it had been on the outside. Tara gripped your hand, tugging you along with her as she headed towards Sam and Danny's table and followed the waiter, but you were looking a little dumbfounded at the marble columns and Italian frescos painted to the walls and roof.
You made your way back, led into a giant room with a lot of people. Danny sent you a welcoming wave when they saw you; Sam looked like she was about ready to blow a gasket. She stared at you, eyeing you up and down and then lasering in on the bouquet in Tara's hands with a frown.
"Did you tell her your secret partner was me???" you whispered to Tara as you approached.
She smirked evilly. "Nope."
Fucking amazing. "Hey guys!" Danny said, friendly and open. He seemed just thrilled to be there, while Sam seethed right next to him. Tara smiled right at her sister, gesturing for you to sit next to her.
"Sorry we were late," Tara says, a little awkward but trying to seem comfortable. "We were, um..." she looked at you for help.
You blanked, throwing out the first thing you could think of. "Kissing!"
Sam nearly spit out her water, eyes widening at staring at you. Tara whipped to you, jaw slack and you sent her a sorry glance. Improv was not your thing by any means.
"Um," Danny blinked at you. "No worries. You're here now," he said with an awkward smile. His hand went to Sam's, trying to give it a comforting squeeze, but she looked like she wanted to jump over the table and then jump you. She was glowering.
"So," she said, eyes narrowed. "How long has 'this,'" she gestured between you and Tara, "been a thing?" She looked at you intensely, and you looked to Tara, trying to shrug it off. You both laughed, playing the part of the happy couple.
"Oh, a month," you said.
"Two months," Tara said, at the exact same time. Fuck.
You tried not to glare at each other. "Well, which is it?" Sam squinted at her sister, and Tara sent a kick at your leg under the table. Your knee hit the bottom of the table with a painful 'thud,' and it took everything in you to not yell out in pain from your knee cap hitting the wood.
You tried to smile it off. "Tara just said two months, because we went on a few study dates, but it wasn't official until a month ago."
"So two months then," Sam said, crossing her arms on the table.
"I get it," Danny said, nodding. "I'm bad at dates and stuff too," he laughed a bit. "I almost forgot how long Sam and I had been together after our four month anniversary." You nodded, sending him your best grin. Sam didnât look too happy about that either, though.
"Yeah, long day, I guess." Tara said next to you, sending you her best smile, her hand coming up to rub your back. It was weird, having her this close, but you put on your best face, as if she touched you all the time.
"You go to Blackmore too, right?" he asked, and you nodded. "What do you study?"
"I'm in architecture," you replied. Finally, something you could talk about without feeling like you were crossing a minefield. From the corner of your eye, you could still see Sam staring you down with suspicion.
"Oh! That's awesome!" Danny replied, taking a sip of wine from his glass. "I love architecture, it's interesting."
"Mhm," you nodded, looking over at Tara and smirking with just a hint of malicious glee. "I tease her- my degree is actually useful. People don't really like film majors. They usually smell bad."
"Do they?" he asked, genuinely curious, and you turned back, nodding.
"Yeah, it's an unfortunately common stereotype. Film majors are annoying, smelly-," your words were cut off, feeling Tara's nail dig into your back for revenge and trying to stifle a wince. She gave the table a fake giggle.
"Okay, that's enough out of you," she said, and you grinned, cursing her out in your head.
"Why didn't you tell me it was (Y/n), Tara?" Sam asked, leaning forwards and studying you both. She seemed a bit miffed with the whole situation. You sent each other fake smiles, as if you were about to share a secret.
"Well," she said, trying to seem excited. "We just didn't want anyone ruining it, really. It was kind of a secret, and we didn't know what it would turn into. But it's just...it's been so fucking magic."
"Magic. Mhm," you hummed in agreement, looking off into the distance and pulling out the menu. You were just a bit too hungry to keep up with the game for the moment. Seriously? she shot you a glare, and you snapped to attention. "It is genuinely one of the happiest times of my life," you rushed, quickly smiling and then dropping your attention back down to the menu to look at some pasta.
âDoes Chad know?â Sam asked, sitting back and staring at you both. Tara shook her head.
âNot yet. I donât want to hurt him, but really, (Y/n)âs the one for me.â This was also a little bit impressive. Tara seemed to be a far better actor than you were, and Sam just nodded, suspicious but trusting her sisterâs words.
===+++===
The moment you walked down the block and out of Sam and Danny's eyesight, your hand dropped from Tara's. The sun was just about setting in the distance, and city traffic was starting to slow down a little.
"Oh. My. God. Her face!" Tara said, laughing. She keeled over, and you smiled a little, remembering Sam's look of disgust, but quiet monitoring of your hand clutching onto Tara's. She looked like a very conservative nun, witnessing a sin being performed in real time. It was a little funny, you had to admit, not that you'd ever be caught laughing along with her.
"Danny seems nice," you said, after you walked a little farther.
Tara nodded. "He's surprisingly not a douchebag. I thought he would be, like you or something, but he's not that bad for Sam."
You scoffed. "I'm not a douchebag."
"You definitely are," Tara said, shaking her head. "One month because it wasn't official? You said we were going on dates before then. That's definitely douchebag behaviour. Sam probably thought that meant you were seeing other people."
"Oh."
"Yeah, oh," Tara said, rolling her eyes. "And 'kissing'??? Literally anything would've been better."
"I'm trying to help you, it's either this or nothing," you huffed in annoyance. "I'm not an on-the-spot person."
"Clearly," Tara said, shaking her head in overdramatic emphasis. She stopped suddenly and you jerked backwards, seeing her mess with her shoes.
"You good?" you asked, shoving your hands into your pockets.
"These damn shoes- making me walk home- god dammit," she grumbled, messing with the straps and the buckle on the side. You waited patiently, leaning against a stone wall as you waited for her to finish.
The sky above you had turned a deep purple, small hues of orange and pink in the form of clouds sitting at the edges. It was really something, and you stopped to watch it, whistling. Tara jerked upwards, planting her foot down to stomp her shoe into place.
"What is it?" she asked.
"The sky," you said, and she craned her neck up to watch it with you. "It's just really beautiful tonight."
She hummed for a moment before looking back to you. "It's a shame I'm spending it with you, of all people," Tara snorted. "I'm sure this would be romantic to any other couple."
"It would probably really be something," you said absentmindedly, looking up in thought. "A real waste on you and me though."
"Glad we agree," she said, leading the way. You and her had taken a separate path from Danny and Sam under the guise of getting some ice cream, but neither of you were willing to pay for it. Instead, you had to figure out what you would do with ten extra minutes.
"Do you want to cross?" you asked, gesturing to the other street, she nodded and you walked up, pressing the button. When you turned back to her, her nose was wrinkled.
"What?"
She shrugged. "Nothing. You just hit the button weird."
"What?" you blinked at her. "How can someone 'hit the button weird'?"
"I don't know, but you, like, pushed it weird. With your fingers."
You rolled your eyes. "Do you have a problem with everything I do?"
âYep,â she nodded back. âItâs annoying.â
You guys kept walking in silence for the next block or two, making a square so that you could return to Sam and Taraâs apartment together. The sun had disappeared now and faded into night, and when you turned the corner to split off, she tugged on your arm.
âHey wait, you have to walk me home.â
âWhat?â you raised your eyebrows at her.
Tara shrugged. âYou have to, to make Sam think weâre dating.â
You blinked at her. âBut we live on opposite sides of the city.â
âStill.â
âTara if I walk you home Iâll miss the last train,â you grumbled. âThatâs a long ass walk.â
âCmon, we have to or she wonât believe it.â
You frowned. âYouâre paying for my cab then.â
She sighed. âFine, but come on.â
She tugged you down the long strip by the hand, stopping suddenly, a block from her apartment. âHere wait,â she said, turning to you. âGive me your jacket.â
âWhat?â you raised your eyebrows at her. âWhy would I want to do that?â
âOh just do it, do you have to argue about everything?â
You took it off with a glare, handing it to Tara. She tried to slide it on but it was massive on her, so she bunched up the sleeves. With the flowers in her hand and your jacket, it definitely looked like you two had gone on a date.
She grabbed your hand again, pulling you forwards along the street and smiling brightly in case anyone looked out the window and saw you both. It felt a bit odd to be playing dress up, but it was helping someone out, so you didnât begrudge her on getting you to smile either.
She pulled you to the side, near a row of shrubs that sat next to the red brick of her apartment building. âSamâs watching us through the window.â
You turned your head, trying to see for yourself, and there she was, hanging right out the window and watching you with intense suspicion.
"Don't look at her!" Tara snapped at you, whispering with a glare. You rolled your eyes.
"What do you want me to do then, Tara?"
She frowned, biting her lip while she thought. She gave you a grimace. "We need to do, like, a goodnight kiss or something."
You glared at the suggestion. "I think I'd rather die."
"Trust me, I don't want to either," she said, glowering right back at you. "But if we do this now, we won't have to ever again."
You thought for a moment. She'd probably taste disgusting anyways, and then it would just confirm what you already knew- you hated Tara Carpenter. "Fine. Just convincing enough though."
"Okay," she nodded. When neither of you made a move to close the distance, she frowned. "Do like, a countdown or something?"
"A fucking countdown," you repeated. "We're not five."
"Just do it!" she demanded, glaring again.
"Okay, fine, Jesus Christ. Three...," your face moved a bit closer to hers. "Two," you muttered quietly, still leaning in. "One," you said, and then Tara pushed her face onto yours.
It was a chaste kiss, probably sprouting from the fact that neither of you especially wanted to do it. Her lips were softer than you expected them to be and her breath nowhere as near as it would be in your head. You pulled away quickly, and there she was, smiling up at you in the fake way she had been at the restaurant.
"Party next Friday?" she asked. "Now that Sam thinks we're together she won't care if I go. Just pick me up and we can go 'together.' Plus there's a cute kid from my film class who said she would be there."
You nodded. "Whatever."
"Great," she said with similar shortness, and she brushed right past you, heading into her building. You watched her walk off, making sure she got in the door safe. Sam was still looking at you from overhead, even when Tara had gone, and you could see Quinn standing behind her, looking with morbid curiosity.
It had never even crossed your mind to kiss Tara, just because of how annoying her personality was, and you would have rather died than admit it had been nice- that she had been nice for a night. Instead you turned around, walking off. You were sure Sam was still watching you, as you went.

part two??? it shouldn't be too long before the next one, i had to split this up because it was getting insanely long and there's another half to the story. i didn't want this one to be like 8k words long, i'll just probably have another one that's 4-5k soon.
Based on request: R helps Lorraine overcome their fear of heights. Sorry for the numerous requests! <333
Warnings: fluff, fear of heights and spiders
A/N: there you go my dear đ and thank you for the numerous requests!
âLorraine! Stop your literally ripping my top off!â I said laughing as she started clinging onto me. Her hands in fists as she held the fabric of my white top, making her knuckles turning white.
âThis isnât funny y/nâ she said dead serious. Her eyes were fixed on the ground that was about four meters away from us. I thought it would be easy, climbing with Lorraine out of my window to sit down on the rooftop so she could get used to the height difference. But no. It wasnât easy.
âBut letâs be real Lorraine, calm down. My top is all crunchedâŚâ I giggled slight and tried to fix it with my other hand. Half of my bra was looking out. âI knowâŚâ I chuckled and began slowly to calm down. I wrapped my arm around her waist and held her tight. Giving her the safety she needed while she inspected the height, watching over the edge of the roof.
âOh sorryâ she said and blushed. She laughed it off and let her fists relax. One arm still around my shoulders as she fixed my top.
âThank you. Now. Letâs sit down. Get used to the heightâ. Loraine sighed and looked back to the edge. Her face was speaking more then thousands words. She was so sick of this. âHey you asked me to help youâŚâ I added.
âYeah I knowâ she scoffed and her hand around my shoulder moved slowly down my back before it wrapped itself around my wrist. This was the sign that she trusted me. Her dark eyes showing slight fear, her lips in a light pout. Making her look like the cute little girl she was back then before puppetry hit us both and we were faced with the non innocent blur in our world. âOkayâ I whispered soft and turned around so I was in front of her. I held my hands slightly up so she could use myself as some sort of support while slowly sitting down.
As she did, she wiped some dust from her jeans before looking up to me. Lorraine held her hand up so she could see me properly due the sunlight hitting my back. A happy smile overtook my lips âsee it positive. You get to see the sunset from up here. You can see the ray of lights so good from here. They will be shooting right through the fieldsâ
My smile grew wider, showed the excitement I was feeling and as soon as I was sitting down beside Lorraine, she wrapped her arm around mine and leaned her head in my shoulder âwhy are we doing this again?â She asked.
A chuckle left my throat and I nudged her gently âcause you wanted⌠we talked about fears and how some of them hold people potentials backâ
Lorraine grinned wide and shook her head âoh right cause my potential will be so much more useful when I start climbing on top of roofs or need to walk over a bridgeâ
I laughed âyou will need it someday. Trust me. I donât know when or in what kinda scenario but you will be happy that you faced that fearâ
Our gazes met while the sun began to set. Lorraineâs eyes turned so soft it gave me immediately goosebumps. The light of the setting sun was reflecting slight in them and i wanted to drown in there. Lorraine leaned it wich made my body react by closing my eyes. I felt her nose brushing mine as her forehead rested on mine âokay so this means we are taking care of your fear towards spiders thenâ
I pulled my head away looking at you with wide eyes while chuckling. âNo⌠nuh, forget get that. Get that out of your cute little head. Nothing will force me to get near a spider by free will or touch one or hold one. Not god, not a higher power not y-â
Lorraineâs lips were lying in a gentle way on my lips. She tilted her head as she kissed me slowly. My brain had decided to shut down before I could perceive what was happening. Before I could kiss Lorraine back, her lips left mine in a slow and warming way. She pulled me closer, looked at me with that knees weakening smile.
A deep sigh left me âfineâŚâ
Loraineâs smile grew wider and she pulled me towards her by my neck. Her lips crashed into my left cheek as she left there a wet tingling spot âI know you love meâŚâ
âI do!â I said almost with a pout but then i couldnât help and let a chuckle out âi will do it just in case I need to remove a dangerous spider or something like that from you somedayâŚâ
âYeah. And Iâm up here in case you fall, so I can get you back upâ she said. Our eyes met again âweâre a good teamâ. Loraineâs dimples were visible as she leaned slowly in and gave me a soft kiss âwe areâ.

The pressure of the dash was massaging your back when you sat in the whirlpool with closed eyes and your head leaned back resting on the edge. When you entered the pool house you didnât saw the whirlpool immediately, only when Cairo showed it to you. It was actually right beside the pool, in a corner and covered by many of plants. âYou like plants and the color green right?â You asked. They were so beautiful and you wished you would now what they all were called.
Cairo was right by your side and watched you inspecting the plants âI do⌠I also like bugs, beetles and spidersâ you laughed and sighed looking at her âspiders?â Cairo nodded and shrugged her shoulders saying âyeahâŚâ. You grinned wide and shook your head. This made Cairo curious âare you afraid of spiders?â She asked teasing. You looked serious at her but your eyes were still showing the joy you felt âI hate them⌠but somehow they love me. I could call myself spider man⌠or well spider womanâ this made Cairo laugh.
You sat up and turned towards her âIâm serious! They follow me everywhere and I find them in the craziest places without even trying. Itâs like an instinct. I look into a direction? Boom thereâs a spider⌠the house is empty? My bedroom is their hotspot⌠even my car. I once jumped out of my car while trying to drive, because of a spiderâ
Cairos eyes widened and she tried to hold her laugh back âseriously?â You smirked and nodded âI was about to shift the gear to start driving. But a spider was sitting on the gear lever and then I just jumped out⌠making the car choke offâ Cairo looked at you speechless wich made yourself giggle when you leaned back beside her.
âI already found three different spiders on those leafsâ you said and pointed out with your finger into one direction. Cairo furrowed her brows and turned to look into that direction. And there she was. A Yellow garden ball weaver spider. Cairo was impressed. âWell⌠I love themâ she said teasing and looked at you. You grinned âso my instinct maybe brought me right into your arms then? Or your attracted by my presence like the spidersâ
She smiled wide and watched the spider crawling away âbut why do you like them? And whatâs about the color green? I see it everywhere. I know you have a green bag pack⌠headphones but this mansion? Itâs like youâre living that color outâŚâ you said curious and looked softly at her.
âWell green stands for things like harmony, stability, hope and nature in general⌠It always makes me feel relaxed and calm. Green is a color that is often underestimated. A lot of people always go for the colors red and blue when it comes to things like logos or colors of clothes. But green is a color that people don't think about much, and I like that. It's a nice and relaxing color. It just makes me feel so calm when I see it now. It's just that simple!"
Y/n nodded and said in a calm tone âit really is underestimated. Did you know that our human eyes see 50% green, blue 25% and red 25%?â
This made Cairo smile and chuckle slight. She nodded and appreciated the fact that you showed interest and tried to have a conversation about her interests.
âAnd the spiders?â You asked again while putting your hand on her thigh.
âThey make me feel safe. They make me feel like I can relate to them. When people see spiders.. they are always scared and they always try to kill them or stay away from them. But when I see a spider I feel like I can trust it. Because I am the same way. I am a mysterious type of creature that people want to destroy." You looked at her with pure admiration and smiled about that comparison.
âI wonât kill you⌠I promiseâ you said a bit joking while moving your thumb in circles on her knee. The corners of her mouth quirked up, leaning in slowly âI really appreciate thatâ. Turning towards each other. The warmth of the water making your body feel so relaxed and comfortable in the moment.
Cairos body came closer and closer, you could feel her presence getting intensive. Her eyes were switching between your eyes and lips till they just remained at your lips. You were moistening your lips unintentionally, felling the heat coming from her body when she sat down in your lap. Her hands moving slowly and smooth on your shoulders just to hold your neck. Stunned. that was your reaction to that. You couldnât even react properly cause in the next moment you felt Cairo pulling your hair so you would lean your head back, you did and her lips met yours. Fierce she made you almost gasp for air with the amount of passion she was using. It didnât took her long to explore your mouth with her tongue and a soft moan escaped you.
Your hands rested on her hips. Pulling her closer, feeling a pulsing between your legs. Your bodyâs merged and you could smell the scent of vanilla, coffee and burned wood wich hit your nerves.
Lips found their place on Cairos pulse. You inhaled deeply, brushing her cold and soft skin with them. You were trembling. Her scent making you fall into a haze where nothing else mattered anymore. Just her.
Cairo felt your wet lips on her pulse, a shiver went down her spine, making her grind on your lap slowly. Breathing heavy you felt like something was missing. She reached out for your jaw and held it tight in her hand. You could see a flicker in her dark eyes, showing you the lust she was feeling. You felt so intimidated by her that you almost felt dysfunctional.
Still holding your jaw in her hand, she kissed you hard. Her saliva moistening both your lips before she bit into your lower lip. Quite sounds were leaving you, making you feel like you could explode by every touch. Her hand moving down your chest, going their way through your breast and resting on your stomach. She was caressing your body, moving herself as close to you as possible while her hips kept moving into your lap.
Your face was still held by her with the other hand. It was interesting how she was taking out all the air of your lungs but also managed to keep you breathing. Cairo was holding the band of your underwear and pulled slight on it wich made you twitch. She smiled seductive, feeling good about the fact how she made you react. âRelaxâŚâ she whispered into your ear before placing her lips onto your pulse, feeling your heart rate going up. Your head fell into the back of your neck and Cairo began to move her lips along your throat.
Soon both your bikinis were lying on the floor somewhere near the whirlpool. Cairos body rocking into your thigh while her hand began to explore you in a more private place. You were breathing heavy, feeling so much pleasure that your mind couldnât handle it. It kept shutting down just to come back with a need of more.
âCairoâŚâ you whispered heavy when she bit slight into your neck. Satisfied Cairo licked along your pulse before penetrating you with the full length of her two fingers. It made you tremble slightly, you felt your walls get tight around her fingers wich made it hard for you to stay quiet. âI Wanne hear you say my nameâŚâ she whispered luring and moved her fingers slowly out âagainâŚâ they moved back in âand againâ then she angled her fingers which made you moan.
She smirked satisfied and gave your lips a light bite before going deeper wich made your jaw turn stiff and you only manage to say her name with a breaking voice. Cairos grin turned wider and she kissed you hard, her tongue getting lost in your mouth before she whispered teasing âwhat? Canât you handle me?â. Your head fell back again and a brief âfuckâŚâ escaped the back of your throat. Cairo making you curse already. Then her movements became faster and you could feel her eyes watching every reaction she could get from you while placing open mouth kisses along your jaw and neck. Tasting your skin with her tongue.
Like this wasnât already killing you, she kept grinding on your tight. You couldnât really feel her wetness due the water but you felt her clit moving over your skin again and again which made you even more turned on.
âYouâre killing⌠meâŚmy dearâ you panted which made her smile almost evil before she moved her fingers even deeper. Her knuckles touching your cunt. You arched your back, craving for more. Cairo felt you getting tighter around her fingers, she began to move in a slow pace now, turning her fingers while doing so. You felt your clit throbbing, getting so tight it was almost too much. Sitting up you pulled your hand around Cairos neck kissing her deeper almost in a starving way. You were breathing heavy like you were taking a long run. Your heart was pumping so much blood through your body you felt like you couldnât breathe. Thatâs what she made you feel like. You moistened your lips brushing them over the skin you could reach above the water. The effect Cairo Sweet had on you was crashing down on you like hard rain. No matter how hard you tried to keep your defenses up, keep those feelings deep inside of you away and hidden⌠she managed to get them all out. You had no control. One moment you felt nervous and shy, the next you forgot about it all and became a pool of desire and longing. This woman was your weakness and you were sure she could bring out things of you⌠you wouldnât recognize yourself.
heyy iâm a new reader, i just wanted to ask if âDay and Nightâ is finished or will you update again?
loveeee your stories btw, immaculate writing!!
Thank very much Iâm glad you can enjoy đĽšđđ§Ą
Day and Night isnât finished. I have pretty much planned but canât make it to write everything down so far. I donât know how long Iâll take till I post something new. I wanted to finish my Cairo story first, maybe I focus after that on Mabel again :) and my poor Tara fic needs to be finished as well. To many plans, less motivation to write all down *sigh*
Can't find your ask rules and stuff, so I'm just gonna go for it.
I just read your baby fever thing and thought it was really cute. I liked how Wednesday slowly began to tolerate the idea of a child with R.
This doesn't have to be a contribution if anons of request, but could you do a short where R and Wednesday actually talk about having a kid, getting a surrogate or whatever voodoo magic the Addams family has, and then just having a heart to heart on it?
I've always been grossed out by the idea of having kids but I still found your story cute and touching and well I'm not hating it, I would love to see more kid related things with W.A
Dear anon. I hope you can enjoy. It turned out way too long and my writing became pretty sloppy at some parts. But here it is finally.

You and Wednesday had been a couple for a few years now. You two met back then in Nevermore Academy where she basically saved the whole city. You both became a couple after tiny stolen moments between the two of you. Never would you have considered that Wednesday saw you as one of her friends. You always kept your distance but you were there if your friends needed you. So in the end you became a more important person in her second case then you actually planned and one thing came to another.
Years passed Wednesday became a well known writer but also solved the craziest crimes and caught the darkest killers just for fun. You were home in the big Victorian house you had bought with her once you two got married and moved out of the apartment you lived onceâs. Wednesday was currently in her writing time. Something she still held onto. Even more after she really became a writer.
You walked slowly into her office. Hearing the sounds of her typewriter bitten one letter after another as she was working focused on her next novel.
âYouâre planing to stay up all night?â You asked softly. Approaching her from behind. Looking over her shoulder and watching the words she kept hitting into the typewriter. "Mhm." Wednesday answered without looking up. "I can't get my last chapter just right." She typed a little longer. "Would you mind getting me a cup of coffee, querida mio?"
You hesitated but the fact she called you âher loveâ made her monotone voice sound so much softer. It was giving you some chills. After all she was Wednesday Addams. It was hard being her girlfriend sometimes but the little affection and hidden hints she gave you from time to time, they were your everything. So you made your way to the kitchen and made her an espresso with three shots as she liked or well⌠preferred. As you came back with the coffee and placed it on her table. Looking at her your face slightly flashed by the dimmed light in the room.
"Thank you... love" Wednesday smiled - literally her unique and rare Wednesday smile "I appreciate it. Really." She took a sip of the coffee.
"What would you do without me, hm?" She asked in her typical ironic and dry manner.
She typed some more. You chuckled about that dry joke, you should have been the one to ask her that. She wasnât in the position to do that. Your chuckled died down in the new silence and Wednesday went back to writing. Hesitant you tried to start a conversation, ignoring how fast your heart was pushing suddenly and hoping she wouldnât see the heat in your face. You knew her writing time was important. You may were her wife so Wednesday didnât go hard on you when you interrupted her but still. It made you feel nervous some times.
âWednesday can we talk?â you managed to whisper. She stopped typing for a moment and looked up, her dark eyes looking right through your soul. She was silent for a very long time before asking "Talk about what?".
began slowly and carefully âItâs been a while we had time to talk or do something together and I was thinking about something we talked about some time agoâŚâ
Wednesday said nothing for an instant. She was silent. But then she put down the cup she had been holding as you talked.
She let her hands rest on her lap, turning fully in her chair to look at you.
"Yeah? What is it? What is it you want to say, my dear?" Wednesday asked in a very soft, comforting voice. She was clearly open to anything you might want to say. You sighed loud like you were holding so much back inside of you and took a chair nearby before sitting down beside her.
âWe talked once about having kidsâŚ.â My throat tightening as soon as those words left my mouth.
Wednesday blinked at the word 'kids'. She was silent for a long moment before she answered. "Yes. We did talk about that. I remember." Wednesday said very carefully. "Kids? You want children?" Wednesday asked, her voice was very low. âWellâŚâ no more words left you as you got more nervous now. Slightly intimidated by her as mostly.
âWell⌠we have or jobs. Our house. Weâve been together for six years and married for two. IâŚâ you shrugged your shoulders feeling almost dizzy, not sure what to say. How to make your point.
âI donât Wanne wait to long Wednesdayâ you said softly, almost scared. Like you didnât knew if it was okay to say this or even talk about this. But you knew you felt the urge too⌠maybe it was something in your nature. Your body saying that you were ready or maybe you were so madly in love with that woman that you wanted little versions of you both.
Wednesday leaned back in her chair again. She was quiet for a very long time. You waited patiently for her to say something but she only blinked. Wednesday looked at you "I'm afraid we can't have kids." Wednesday said in a very serious tone. "No children. At all. Ever." Wednesday repeated. She looked you in the eyes, her face expressionless. You leaned back as well and nodded your mind turning immediately into an auto pilot mode. But you had to admit That this was your fear as well. After all you both were woman, how was that supposed to work? For sure there were ways but deep down you knew that adoption wasnât an option in the Addams family. Or anything else at all. You stayed calm on your face a wide understanding smile, but truth was you couldnât hide the sadness you were sure that the smile made it even more obvious that this was going right through your heart. More than you wanted to admit.
Wednesday took your hand while you were silent avoiding her gaze, nodding and still smiling. "I know. You'd make such a great mother." She paused.
"We'll have a great life together, querida mio. I promise." Wednesday said reassuringly. "But no children. Okay? Are you okay with that, my dear? I know how much this means to you." Wednesday asked, looking at you. Her face showed genuine compassion.
You kept nodding, feeling like one of those dogs with a jiggling head for the car.
âyeahâŚâ your voice near to break. You caressed her hand before getting up without looking at her. âGoodnight then⌠donât work too long okay?â You added and left to your shared bedroom. Wednesday watched you leave. She couldn't say any more but she wanted to say something. When your bedroom door was shut she went back to work. She tried to write something again - but she couldn't. Instead she put the coffee cup aside and got up. Walking to your bedroom. She opened the door and went in quietly - slowly closing the door behind her.
You were already lying in bed holding yourself together. Staying quite. Pretending to be asleep. Wednesday sat down on the edge of your bed. "You're not asleep, my dear." Wednesday said. Her voice was very soft, that kind of soft that made you feel goosebumps all over your body but not this time. She laid a hand hesitant on your leg.
"I'm sorry for tonight." Wednesday said slowly. She hesitated for a while but then she leaned over you. Slowly she touched your neck and began to rub it in circles. Wednesday was calm and patient. She wanted to make you feel better. You were moving slight signaling that you didnât felt like it now and wanted to be alone.
"Let me make you feel better." Wednesday said. "Please, Y/N. Let me help you." Wednesday spoke quietly and almost shy.
She went on to lightly and slowly rub away your worries on your back until you could feel her gentle touch. Wednesday was doing anything she could to make you feel comfortable again. She was trying to say sorry with her affection.
âJust leave itâŚâ the words left you numb.
Wednesday didn't answer - she just kept rubbing your shoulder and neck for a little more while. Knowing you loved being touched on your neck. It always made you calm down, managed to make you feel better after nightmares. Wednesday wanted to show you how much she meant her apology. She wanted you to trust and love her again cause she felt like you didnât wanted to feel anything of that at all right now. But she also didn't want to pressure you. "I'm sorry." Wednesday said again. She hesitated. "I love you." Wednesday whispered.
Her words having so much power over you. You felt conflicted. A tear rolled down your eye. She couldnât see cause your back was facing her as u stayed quiet and tried to sleep or at least act like you were sleeping. Wednesday noticed that you weren't asleep. She could tell that you were tearing up. She wanted to keep you calm. So Wednesday laid down beside you and spooned you. Held you. She stroked your arm to comfort you. She wanted to keep you from falling apart because she knew how hard you could be to yourself sometimes.
The next day you woke up before Wednesday. You got changed, prepared breakfast. Today you wanted to visit her family since her younger bother Pugsley was celebrating his engagement. Wich meant you needed to go to the Addams mansion and would be part of the big family reunion. Wednesday woke up shortly after you, seeing you already got ready for today.
"You didn't need to cook me breakfast." Wednesday said slowly.
âItâs literally the only thing Iâm actually good atâŚâ you said trying to joke but you didnât laughed or smiled. She hesitated. "Thank you, my dear." A genuinely smile on her cold lips.
"I'm sorry for last night..." Wednesday said in a very quiet tone and added after a short time "I love you, sweetheart.â
âLetâs not talk about thatâ you whispered and sounded colder then you meant to
You gave her a small kiss on the cheek.
âNow hurry⌠weâll be lateâ you added.
"Okay." Wednesday whispered back.
She did get ready, quickly brushing her hair and putting on clothes to look good, appropriate for the family and mostly for you. "Let's go." Wednesday said, trying to push everything away for today. But the thought of yesterday wasn't gone. But she wanted to push it away for today. After a while Lurch came and picked you both up. You were sitting in the back of the car. Not really talking. When you made it to her familyâs mansion you were greeted by her father Gomez and mother Morticia with much love as usual. Your parents in law. You loved them as much as your own, maybe even more. Letâs be for real.
Wednesday stayed quiet as she held you close to her. She may wasnât a person for physical touch but you were different. And after moments like yesterday Wednesday felt weak. Addicted or cursed. Cause she couldnât face seeing you like that. So those were moments where she longed for physical touch with you. She felt her black heart pound harder, happy that her parents gave you the same love and affection, you deserved it, you were family now. But Wednesday still felt a little out of place. She felt like she was the odd one out today more than usual - in her own family. She still couldn't shake off the feeling about yesterday's talk.
Inside of the Addams mansion you looked for Pugsley and his fiancĂŠ Mary. As soon as your eyes found them, you had a genuine smile for the first time since last nights events. You greeted them and wished them the best, having slight small talk and all.
After a while you found yourself with the rest of the Addams family and more in the big dinning hall. All different types of creatures and human beings. Outcasts and normies. They were all celebrating the engagement of her brother with Mary. But you could feel that it wouldnât take long till people would start asking you and Wednesday dozen questions.
Right now you were talking with her grandma. Wednesday was happy about the engagement even tho no one could see it in her dead pan eyes. She was still silent. She stayed by your side. For the whole time, her family and their guests had their eyes on you.
You were the only one who noticed that Wednesday didn't really wanted to talk. Like most of the time. She didn't wanted to engage in conversations. She just sat by your side her mind a mess.
But it was nothing new, you were always the talk active at events while Wednesday kept being her anti social self. She surely did the usual deadly pranks with her brother and talked a lot with her uncle fester. But yeah. It was actually normal. But today Wednesday stayed with you the whole time. She was almost clingy. A very rare thing. She didn't want to go anywhere without you. She was always by your side, but at the same time - she still was in silence. She answered some questions directed to her but she looked very uncomfortable with everyone giving her the looks. And you felt this. You didn't need words to know how Wednesday felt right now. It pained your heart for her but also you didnât wanted to feel anything right now cause you knew why.
âSo y/n⌠when can we see the breed of you two?â Said Wednesdays grandma and you immediately froze. You werenât sure if this was a joke or just a coincidence. So you smiled weak and left Wednesday and her grandma alone, finding a fake excuse to leave the conversation. Walking out of the mansion to be alone.
Wednesday suddenly turned red. Wich was even more rare than her smiling. Not because she felt embarrassed but because she saw how you felt about her grandma's question. Wednesday was always afraid of family questions. Of others asking about babies and families. Because she knew that it was something that she could never offer to anyone. Wednesday never knew how to react when someone mentioned children. Wednesday stayed silent and looked after you, hoping for anything that could make it better - for you. She looked away completly when she couldn't answer the question after you left.
Mortica had her eyes on the two of you the whole night and saw what happened, so she approached Wednesday and her grandma asking âEverything alright? Why did y/n leave?.â
"I just..." Wednesday started to speak - trying to stay calm. She tried to find something that would make everything okay. "Grandmother... She just asked us something... I couldnât answer." Wednesday said very nervously. She still looked away in shame. She tried to stay calm. She was ashamed that she was the reason of all of this. She was ashamed because she couldn't give you the family you deserved. Morticia looked confused at her daughter and then at her mother in law âWhat was it about?â Asked Morticia even tho she already knew the answer.
"She... She asked..." Wednesday said shyly. "... She asked why we didn't have any children yet..." Wednesday replied as silent as possible for a second. Wednesday kept her avoiding the gaze of her mother and grandmother. Wednesdays mother tilted her head she didnât saw the problem in that âAnd?.â
"Well... There isn't going to be any children..." Wednesday said softly. She looked up, still a little quiet and nervous. "We can't have any." Wednesday repeated, now more seriously. Morticia smiled wide she understood what the problem was.
Hesitant she touched Wednesdays shoulder without really touching it and said âMy dear death trap⌠you know you can. Youâre an Addams. And youâre my daughter. You have the powers of witch craft. You can have children with y/n⌠itâs not a problem at all that you both are womenâ
Wednesday froze for a moment. Her eyes went wide and she blushed. This wasn't what she expected at all and for the first time she felt actually dumb, dumb for not thinking about this herself. She suddenly felt shy to tell her mother more about your relationship. She looked at her mom again, still quiet. "W-What..??.." Wednesday said in confusion. Wednesdays grandma laughed âYou didnât considered to use a ritual?â She asked like it was the most normal thing. "A ritual? No... I never thought about that..." Wednesday said. She blushed even more and looked away. Her heart was racing. She couldn't believe it.
Wednesdays mother smiled genuine
âThere are rituals that make it possible for you two to have your very own childâŚâ
She sighed with a loving smile on her lips and looked around. âYou should look for your wife and have a talkâŚâ she added.
Wednesday looked up at her mother in awe. No. With respect. She couldn't believe what her mother had said. Could a ritual actually make it possible for you to have children? Wednesday was speechless.
She excused herself and made her way to the Addams library trying to find this ritual. She didn't took too long. Very quickly she found a small book. It had been written almost a century ago but it was exactly what she was searching for. Wednesday put the book in her bag but she could already hear the doors open behind her. She went silent. She was very nervous. The book could change everything...
âThere she is my favorite niece!â said Fester with big eyes, electricity sparkling out of his fingertips and greeted Wednesday. She looked at uncle Fester and immediately tried to hide the book deeper in her bag and acted cool. "H-Hi..." Wednesday said softly but nervously. She was freaking out inside - and even a little bit scared. She didnât wanted to talk with her family about you and hers problems in marriage or well⌠bed. But she wouldnât consider it as a problem in bed. In bed was everything more than fine.
âWhereâs y/n? I havenât seen her since a whileâ asked Fester. "Uhm- she went to get some fresh air for a moment. She's outside." Wednesday answered, trying to seem unreadable. "She'll be back soon..." she hoped. She wasnât sure were you were but she saw you leaving the mansion.
Fester looked at Wednesday with a knowing cheeky smile and said âSheâs at the Addams graveyardâ. Wednesday realized that uncle Fester knew. How long was she already outside? How long did she take to find the old book? Wednesday tried to say something but just nodded. She tried to find the right words. She tried to be careful with her words. âUncle Fester... You know pretty much about spells and rituals, right?" She still tried to stay calm.
âIs this about something specific?â He said teasing and gave Wednesday a wink while chuckling. She blushed for a second. She couldn't believe that he knew - but he knew the whole time... Wednesday looked at him. Her eyes told everything. Even without her speaking he already knew everything about her relationship and how she felt. "Uncle Fester - I need you help." Wednesday said quietly. Fester smiled wider. "I... I found an old book..." Wednesday said. She looked down. "Its about a ritual that could help us to have a child..." Wednesday said while looking back at Fester. Wednesday was nervous. She really hoped that he could help her.
Fester looked at the book she pulled out of her bag and nodded
âThatâs right⌠but the one you have is a way more newer ritual. I donât know if it works as good as the old oneâ. He walked towards the shelves and picked up a way smaller one and much older one.
âThis one. Will defiantly work.
One of our family members used it once. How do you think was vetter it born?â He laughed. âWith that ritual⌠anyone can have childrenâŚâ he added. Wednesday was shocked. She didn't thought of that - but it was possible now. It was possible that they could have a child. It was the one thing she wanted to hear right now. She blushed and looked at Fester in awe. She finally smiled but still was stunned. She looked down to the ground and nodded. "I need to speak with y/n... I'll let her know." Wednesday said softly. She turned around to go back to you and find you.
Wednesday left the library and went back to you. Finally she took this one step. She went outside, smiling at you with a small glow to her face. "I'm back dear." Wednesday said.
She looked around and saw there was nobody around, it was just both of you.
She approached you with confidence and put her hand on your cheek. "I have good news..." you were surprised to see her. But kept avoiding her eyes as you watched the family gathering from afar through the windows of the mansion. Now that no one could hear her she finally had the courage to say it. "I have a plan... A ritual that could make it possible for us to have children. I found the book and asked uncle Fester to confirm it. He said that it would work." Wednesday tried to give you a smile but she was still too scared to actually look at you. She was afraid of your reaction. She was afraid she couldn't make you happy with this.
Your heart skipped a beat and your face felt hot you looked at her shocked and asked âwhat?â
"We can have a child.... I just spoke to Uncle Fester about it..." Wednesday looked at you. Her voice was still shaking but she hoped that you was happy - like her. "I know this is important to you - but..." Wednesday paused for a second and looked down.
"Do you want that... Do you want this..?" Wednesday asked quietly. You were stunned and speechless and said confused âYou talked with fester about this?â. Wednesday nodded quickly. "Yes... I talked to him about this... I had to... And... We can make this work. We can have a family." Wednesday said with a nervous smile.
One of those rare smiles she wouldnât give everyone. That showed her beautiful dimples. That made you weak. You looked down not sure what to feel. You werenât sure if she did find a way to make this possibly for us or just to make you happyâŚ
Wednesday noticed your reaction. "If you don't want this... I understand..." Wednesday said softly. She looked at you. Her eyes showed her worry unsure what to say now. âNo! Itâs justâŚâ I began with teary eyes âYou gave me hope for one year. And when I asked you yesterday you said it will be something that will never happen and be something you canât give me and now your coming and tell me about a ritual?â
"I know..." Wednesday said silently. She tried to get even closer than she already was. Wednesday put a hand under your chin and raised your head. She looked at you straight in the eyes and smiled softly.
"I was wrong yesterday... I just... I was scared to talk to you about this. I didn't want to give you hope in case it wouldn't work. No. Thats not true. I was dumb. I didnât think so far⌠That's why I said that.... But Fester gave me the book... I... I think we can really do this. It's a miracle but I believe in it... Do you?"
A sigh escaped you and you rested your forehead on yours with closed eyes as tears rolled down my cheeks âDo you?â I whispered weak. Wednesday's heart started to beat even faster. She tried to wipe your tears away. "Yes... We can... I believe it..." Wednesday said softly. She put her other hand behind your head. She looked at you very deeply. "I think we can make this work, I do." Wednesday whispered back and smiled again. You looked at her
âYou really want this? And you donât do this just because of me? I need to know if you want this as well as how much as I want this Wednesdayâ I said softly looking at my wife.
"I want us to have a family." Wednesday said confidently and took your hands. She looked directly in your eyes as she repeated herself. "I want us to have a family that is complete. With you - with us. It really is important to me." Wednesday said honestly. Her eyes showed no doubt of what she just said. Wednesday was sure this was the right decision. âThereâs no going backâŚâ I whispered looking deep into your eyes. Wednesday smiled gently and kissed your forehead. She was still very close to you.
"It is the right decision..." Wednesday said. She looked into your eyes again with a small smile on her face. She pulled you a little bit closer and pressed you against her. "I guess we have some work to do... Now..." Wednesday said and smiled at you again. Wednesday was nervous but she felt confident in her decision and the fact that there was no way back now.
A true smiled filled with happiness came on your lips. You pulled her closer saying âI love youâŚâ She hugged you. And you felt her heart beating under your chest. Her breath smelled sweet and she held you tighter.
She still smiled but her eyes looked a little bit like she still had something to say.
Your heart beat faster. Wednesday was beautiful, wonderful and caring just like you always had loved in moments like this. She was perfect - like everything about her.
Her braids were falling on both sides to the side of her face. She was wearing her dark lipstick and she was so... mesmerizing. She always had been. This feeling was perfect. This moment was perfect. You two were perfect for each other.
She looked down for a second and smiled again. She then slowly pulled you closer and kissed you. But not like something quick and without much emotion. She kissed you soft and slow like you had never been kissed before. Wednesday put her arms around you. You both were close and she looked at you. You could see that she was not scared anymore. She kissed you again and whispered quietly as she did.
"I love you y/n..." Wednesday said and slowly broke the kiss. Your hearts were beating like never before.
You drove back home pretty fast after that.
Now you were sitting at the end of your bed and watched Wednesday looking through the book. You felt nervous as she showed you the book with the ritual. âSo how does it work?â You asked as you were already only in your underwear and wore a slight silk black gown on top.
"It's an old ritual..." Wednesday begann.
She opened the book and looked at you explaining the rituals step by step.
"The ritual takes approximately two hours... We're doing everything that is written down here. After that you need to drink a potion to confirm the ritual. And than..." Wednesday closed the book.
"It happens." Wednesday said. She put the book down, looked at you.
"Are you ready querida mio?" She asked shyly. âTwo hours?â I asked shy
âWhat are we doing those two hours?â The answer was pretty clear but you were still to stunned to believe it.
Wednesday didn't even answer. She just blushed a little bit, a light smirk at the corner if her lips. She came closer to you and started to kiss you. She gave you her whole attention. She took your hands and put them on her body. Her cheeks were a little red but her lips were still dark.
She smiled evil and kissed you again.
She gave you her whole attention, everything in her was only for you - right now.
You breathed heavy and melted right into her. Kissing her back. The candles around you two that had been placed in a circle, were making this so much more intimate then it already was. It was the most incredible moment of her life. This moment - right here. With her girl. With y/n. She kissed you, she held you close, she touched you. You were so close together - so beautiful. The candles around the room put your faces in a romantic light and gave you a romantic but also spooky atmosphere. Your hair looked so soft and beautiful. You were so incredibly beautiful. The book with the rituals lay open nearby. She had prepared everything for this moment.
She finally could have everything with her girl and You felt pure joy.
âWhat about the potion?â You whispered between kisses your hands on her waist. Wednesday laughed softly. She couldn't help but smile "You'll drink it in the last moment..." Wednesday said softly. She was still holding you close and was still touching your body with a soft hand that got a little bit warmer. She was in a very good mood. She smiled the way she rarely did had, with a dark and sexy hint. But today - everything was different. Everything was so much more tense⌠in a good way. Almost like in the night of your first or well second time. The one you both started exploring each other way more than usual.
"It's still so unreal... That we really are going to have a family." Wednesday said and kissed you again. She kissed you so soft that you didn't even felt it at first. But with every passing minute, the kiss became harder. Bruising your lips. Tight grips around your body. The hunger was there and so much more.
You breathed heavier and was lying now on the pentagram you two had to draw before on the floor. Wednesday held you very close on the pentagram. You were laying down and felt her breath against your lips. Everything about this moment was so magical. So wonderful. And it was really just the beginning. She gently kissed you over your cheeks and jaw. Then she looked you in the eyes and kissed you heavy on the lips. She put her hands on your hips and pulled you closer to herself. In her eyes was passion and lust. The way she was breathing made it look like she was starving. Starving to touch and feel you.
You held each other so close. You wanted this so much. You felt her hair and her arms and she didn't stop kissing you. Wednesday was so amazing and you wanted everything from her right now.
The lights from the candles put you in a beautiful light. It was the right atmosphere and the right time. The room was filled with love and happiness.
It was just you and her. It was just Wednesday and y/n. A wonderful moment together. The most precious moment.
She leaned over you. Her skin was soft. Her hair was shining in the light of the candles. She smelled like a deadly flower her smell driving you to another world and then she started to kiss you again. Her body was so close and so soft against yours. You felt the heat of your bodies and you felt the love you both shared even stronger as her hands gripped tight your hips and thighs.
You didn't want to miss even a single second of this moment. And Wednesday didn't let you. She kissed you - touched you - caressed you. She was completely yours right now. A heavy breath of pleasure escaped your throat as her fingers pressed into your thigh. Wednesday wasn't shy to show her attraction. She put her arms on your waist and pressed you harder into the floor. She kissed you even harder and longer. You could feel how close her body was with yours. Wednesday smiled in pleasure. She was enjoying it. Everything about this moment was good. Everything about this moment was perfect.
Your hand moved around her neck as you gripped it tight. Your tongue licking her lower lip before you moved it inside to meet hers.
The kiss was more passionate than ever. Heat was rising between you both. You could feel your need growing. Every touch and kiss sended electric waves right between your legs. Suddenly Wednesday turned around and pulled you on top of her.
Now that you were on top of her you kissed her neck. Your hands caressing her thighâs while your teeth hovered over her pulse.
Wednesday skin turned more and more into color. She looked at your hands and the kiss was still soft. It only got more intimate. Wednesday kissed you back - not just on the face - but everywhere around your neck. Wednesday was hungry and lovely at the same time. Your touch made her feel warm. She put her hands around your hip and pulled you even closer to her. Her legs were now completely wrapped around yours.
You gasped when you felt something between the two of you down there.
Eyes looking down to see a big bulge in her underwear.
âIs this part of the ritual?â You asked nervous and felt so much more turned on now. Wednesday grinned devilish. She didn't answer right away. She took her time to think about what she said next. Your hands were still on her hips and she moved them a little bit closer. She could feel how you reacted to her right now. You were excited. Wednesday was not surprised. She was excited too - because of this moment and because she could see your reaction.
She looked at you and whispered seductive.
"In the ritual there is one part where we... We need us to be very close... It's very important..."
âYeah I know but i didnât knew that the ritual and spell would give you a dick for thatâŚâ I said honestly and felt your hardness against my probably soaked slip.
Wednesday kept that sexy evil grin. Your reaction and this moment were so hot. She liked what she saw.
"The ritual has a few different parts in it..... But it's nothing strange. Nothing that wasn't planned." Wednesday said softly and kept a smile on her whole face.
She was so nervous and so excited at the same time but somehow managed to keep it cool. "I guess we can start the next part now... Can we?" Wednesday asked, but you could see that she really wanted it.
You grinned and leaned back down over her.
Grabbing tight her chin as you pulled her in a fierce kiss.
Wednesday was overwhelmed. The kiss was deep and passionate. She bucked her hips. Her hands were running over your hips and your back. Her erection was almost painful by now. It was defiantly a different experience to be intimate with you like that. To feel the effect you had on her, to see how much control you had over her.
She did not want this moment to be over. Wednesday wanted to be with you like that. Forever.
You became more confident and curious so you started grinding your hips into her hardness, to see how good the spell actually worked.
Wednesday was breathless.
She didn't speak a single word. She just kissed you back softly. The spell worked perfectly. She felt it.
Wednesday was almost panting. She put her hands tighter on your hips and pulled until she felt that you were right over her. She wasnât nervous anymore. She was completely comfortable with you in this position. And she liked what she saw. And what you did to her.
âIf thereâs a way to use this part of the spell again⌠then we have to do this way more oftenâ you said heavy against her lips as you kept moving against her erection.
Wednesday was completely overwhelmed. The spell worked better and better. Wednesday's breath was heavy. She did not know what to say. But she did not speak. She didn't want to stop what was happening right now.
Wednesday moved herself more and more in a motion with you. She kept kissing you and she did not stop. She couldnât. You kissed her deep and turned both of you around cause you wanted her to be on top while you would do this. Wednesday didn't say anything. She followed your move. Your body was now laying under hers. She was completely yours right now. A moan escaped you. Wednesday was blushing. She knew it was the spell - she also knew that it was working perfect. And she was so happy.
She started to kiss down from your neck to other areas with hot open mouthed kisses . She was moving herself and wanted to make you happy - make y/n happy now. Every single muscle in her body felt alive now. The spell made her feel so excited. Wednesday was yours now. She was yours forever - she wanted this. She would never ever let you go - and she meant it from the bottom of her heart. She knew your souls were bonded for this and every other life. Always meant to be together in this and every other world.
Wednesday was so happy. You were everything she wanted. No. needed in her life. You were her wife. She was ready - and she wanted you to realize that she would give you everything you wanted, needed and wished for right now. You were everything to her. All of you.
Wednesday took control of the situation - with a spell and a few words. She was in a completely other world. She didn't want to speak. She wanted to keep kissing you. And she did. She tried all different places.
Wednesday was kissing you all over your face again. She took her hands away of your back and started taking of your slip. And she didn't stop kissing you. Instead she gave you love bites. All over your neck, collarbone and chest. Within seconds both of you were naked.
Hands and fingers roaming other each others body. Wednesday breathed lower and slower as she looked into your eyes for a short moment before kissing you long.
While doing that she positioned herself at your entrance. She knew exactly what to do since you both used a strap on regularly. Almost⌠regularly. But this was so much better. It made her feel everything. It gave her the full experience. She wanted to slap herself for being so dumb and never considering to use spells for things like that.
The words âmy dear youâre so wetâŚâ were on the tip of her tongue but she had always been a bit shy when it came to dirty talk. So she kept the words in her mind and started moving herself into you.
Meeting your tight walls, made her almost moan right away. âDeeperâŚâ you said heavy and she did as you wished. Stretching you out and filling you completly with her dick.
Wednesday started to move slow with deep thrusts first but became faster in a short time. She moved her hips in different styles and tried different kinds of movements.
"Y/n... You are so beautiful..." Wednesday said in between short breaths that were hitting against your neck.
She tried to be as soft as possible - but that was hard. She usually liked being a bit rough. She knew you liked that too under special circumstances and something was telling her that you wanted it rough now.
You started moaning
Your nails deep in her back as you said breathless âI love you querida mioâŚâ
Wednesday was breathing heavy as she heard you moan.
"I love you too querida mio..." Wednesday was kissing your neck again. And then your chest and everywhere else. Wednesday wasn't stopping. She was doing this perfect.
The room was so filled with love. The candles made this moment beautiful.
Everything about you - from your face to your body - you were so beautiful.
Everything about this moment was perfect and Wednesday could feel it coming. She didn't even try to hold it anymore. She didn't say a single word.
She was holding you tight and she knew she could finally let go.
She let all the pleasure come over her and she felt complete as you both reached the peak. Wednesday took a deep breath. Her body was shaking right now. She was still on top of you - her whole body breathing a little bit faster. She didn't move her head and she just kept kissing you.
She didn't want to stop now. This moment was perfect. You panted holding gently her cheek as you kissed her back asking âThe potion?â.
Wednesday wasn't talking but she smiled. Her eyes glowed up in love and she kissed you back. "Yes... We are almost done... We just need one more spell..." Wednesday whispered and kissed you again.
Her eyes and her smile was full of love now. She held your cheek again and you could feel that she wanted to be right here. With you. Forever. Finally you both could have your very own family. âSo whatâs the next step then?â You asked. Wednesday didn't say anything. She kissed you again. For a long and soft kiss.
"The next spell is the ritual of the union. I need you to read it for me and then we will be done...." Wednesday whispered.
She was shy again and she didn't move her mouth.
"Just say the words I write down for you on the paper...." Wednesday whispered and gave you a piece of paper.
"Do you trust me?" Wednesday asked.
You nodded and Was feeling excited and with full hope. Hoping you both could have your own family. Hoping you would be pregnant after this. Wednesday climbed off you and gave you the piece of paper and started to smile.
"Okay dear I will write down the words of the spell now." Wednesday sat down beside you. She didn't say anything. She just wrote. It did not take long and she looked into your eyes with love and gave you the paper back.
"Read it loudly and I will listen. Say those words for me... Together we will be united..." Wednesday whispered. You nodded and started reading it out loud.
"Now the spell of union. In the name of true love I cast this spell over us. I call forth the power of all love rituals, spells, potions, incantations and sacrifices. May the love of two souls be forever united in this life and the next. I bind our souls together forever. You feel me. I know. And that is why I know this is meant to be. Let our love remain unbreakable and create something more. And last forever more."
Wednesday watched you and listened.
You chuckled after reading this
âThis actually sounds like a second vow⌠and not like something we can have a baby withâ memories of your first night together after the wedding came back. "I know... It's my little surprise..." Wednesday whispered. A devilish grin on her lips and kissed you again. She wanted this moment very much to be like on your wedding night. She wanted this night to be special and romantic. And it was. You kissed her back and after that, you drank the potion for the ritual, coming slowly to an end.
"The potion works slowly. It takes a little bit of time. It's good that we still have time for a little bit more⌠fun. I don't want this night to end."
Wednesday layed there - next to you - her arm wrapped around you as she caressed you back. You looked at the time âSo I guess we need to go another round? Only one from two hours passed from the ritualâ a slight teasing tone in your voice.
Wednesday kissed your cheek and laughed. "Yes... we need another round."
She moved your lips with hers slowly again.
"I can't think of anything else right now than just being with you... and giving you so much pleasure..." Wednesday whispered her lips on your pulse. She tried to make this moment last as long as possible. The potion was still working very slowly so she used the time she had right now to her advantage...
âDo you think it will work?â You asked softly
The fact that the ritual and spell actually gave her a dick to do this made you still scared that it wouldnât work. Wednesday moved a bit closer to you. She looked you deep in your eyes and she smiled. She kept kissing you but after a while she whispered.
"We won't know until it's done. But I would say - it will work. The spell is working so it's just a matter of time." Wednesday had no doubt that you would be happy. In her eyes the union spell would work and everything would be fine. Your love would be there - and would last forever and most importantly⌠would create something beautiful. With the best parts of you both. "I love you so much... You are everything to me... You are the most beautiful woman ever..." Wednesday whispered and kissed you so passionately.
Your whole body was full of goosebumps and you felt like this should have always been the way. This was destiny. Wednesday was your girl and you would never let her go now.
You saw your whole life before your eyes together. In your head you saw that everything was right now. The feeling was more than perfect. âI love you Wednesday Addamsâ you whispered caressing her cheek and lower lip with your thumb. Wednesday was breathing heavily now as she kissed you again. She moved her hand up and down your chest as she kissed you again right now. She whispered softly.
"I love you so much. You make so much sense to me. Everything feels right with you. We are two people, we are together forever. This is our life right now. I am so thankful that we have each other..."
One week passed after the events of the ritual and spell you both were back in the usual routine. She was working on her book and cases and while you did your work as a video editor as usual from home. Wednesday finished her current case and looked on the clock. In about half an hour she would get a call from her office and then she could finally be done with work for today. Wednesday looked at y/nâs picture on her phone and smiled. It was perfect. Wednesday was now waiting to get this call and then she could get home and see you.
She still had in her mind the feelings of the ritual from a week ago. She just could not stop thinking about it. It was perfect and it would be her new every evening memory now. Wednesday was driving home now and was excited to see y/n. In less than 10 minutes she would be there and she could finally see if her wife had maybe some great news. While she was driving you were walking down the house up and down. Nervous about the test and excited at the same time.
Wednesday finally came home and saw you waiting. Wednesday gave you a long kiss and hugged you short. "Was your day alright my dear?" Wednesday asked as she let herself go. âYeah querida mioâ I said happy and kissed you long before pulling away. âSo⌠letâs check what the pregnancy test says⌠I know itâs early but itâs still a spell so maybe⌠who knowsâŚâ
"Yes y/n. let's check it now." Wednesday took the pregnancy test that y/n was holding in her hands. Wednesday looked at it as she saw that it was positive.
"We did it... We are having a baby." Wednesday kissed you passionately and was so happy. Adrenaline and excitement rushing through her like never before. She couldn't even tell how happy she was right now. You did it. Your love produced a life.
Love produces life - and that was incredible. Wednesday was so full of love she couldn't stop thinking about you and the baby right now. You were speechless. And had tears of relive in your eyes âit worked?!â
Wednesday was smiling and kissed her passionately again. She was so happy.
She started to cry even a little bit. "Yes querida mio it worked. It really did!
We have a baby on our way. I love you so much." You smiled with slight tears and kissed her back deeply âWhy didnât you come up with the ritual earlier?â You said chuckling.
It's been a few months and the months were flying by. You were pregnant and your belly was getting bigger and bigger. "I'm so excited about being a mother..." Wednesday whispered to you.
Everything was perfect right now. They had each other. They had their baby. And they had their spell. It worked perfectly. The ultimate ritual of true love. I chuckled
âItâs weird to see you being all affectionate and a softy. If someone would see you like that they wouldnât believe itâ
Wednesday was touching your belly now. You were sitting in the kitchen now together.
"It feels weird for me too. It does not feel real to talk so openly about emotions. But this is our baby. And it does not matter how others see us if they see us being in love.
The whole world could look at us and laugh, but we don't need to care. We love each other and we are now having a baby. The proof is in your belly now dear. Besides that. Iâll kill everyone who dares to look weird or say something" Wednesday smiled evil. It was still so weird to see her smiling all the time. And being way more softer than she truly was. But you were happy that you were the one who had that effect on her. And you were excited to see how both of you would raise the child. You hoped it would be a Addams like the others.
"Our baby will be dark and unique as an Addams. Maybe a bit scary but very smart. Just like us." Wednesday said with a proud smirk making you chuckle âwell I hopeâ.
"I hope so too. But I think we are having a really smart and dark child for sure. At least if he is a little bit like me I'm satisfied." Wednesday said as she kissed your stomach. She was so happy. Everything was perfect right now. âHe?â I said teasing
Then I added âI hope he will be just like you. So I donât have to worry that much about the baby, cause I know it can handle everything by himselfâ
Wednesday smiled. "Yes. A boy would be nice. It's a little bit more fitting for an Addams child." Wednesday added with a little grin on her face.
"Just think how good he will look in his own little funeral suit. He will be adorable." Wednesday laughed a little bit as she said the last thing. She loved your little teasing and she loved that you could have fun. It meant so much to her. You laughed about this and shook your head it was so typical for her. But I was actually surprised that she wanted a boy. You always thought she was pulled to powerful woman and stuff like that cause she was one herself.
âTell me more about what you imagine our child to be likeâŚâ you said peacefully. Wednesday smiled and took your hand and kissed it.
"Dark. Smart. Funny. A bit weird and maybe a bit scary. But very lovable. Just like us." Wednesday said as she kissed your hand and looked in your eyes.
She imagined it to be a beautiful child. Wednesday really didn't have a preference between a boy or girl.
In her imagination the child would fit perfectly into their little Addams family.
More months passed and you both were lying in bed now. Wednesday had her hand gently on you belly that was now way much bigger.
"She is active. I can feel it." Wednesday said smiling. You smiled watching her touch your belly and observe the movements of your baby girl. It turned out that it wasnât going to be a boy. But none of you cared about that. The important thing was to have a healthy baby. "She is so active. I can't even believe it. But I also love it... Our little girl is going to be here so soon. I'm already so happy that she is growing more and more every day. I just love her so very much already." Wednesday said as she kissed your belly. The baby was moving a lot. Wednesday could feel her more and more every minute.
Time flew by faster and soon you found yourself with her in the hospital after giving birth. Wednesday held their daughter close and she looked at you.
"I will always take care of our little girl...
She is so beautiful. I am so glad that we are good mothers. What should we call our little girl?" Wednesday said as she kissed their daughter and then look at you.
You could finally name your little girl. A child made out of pure love and dedication. Their Addams child. They could not have asked for anything better. You looked at both at them thinking about names that would fit an Addams and the miracle it self. "There is Pandora, Persephone, Calypso...
I know these are unusual. Do you have any ideas? Maybe some dark or even Latin names?" Wednesday asked.
It was always important to Wednesday to have a strange and powerful, old fashioned but dark and mysterious name. Just like a true Addams. Something special. âWhat about Dahlia?â You asked.
It was her favorite flower and crime story.
In your opinion the crime was to much but the flower was perfect.
Daliah Addams.
Wednesday smiled.
"I'm really happy with that name. She is going to be quite a powerful woman like us." Wednesday said and looked at you.
"I want her to grow up with strong characters. To have confidence and love. But also to be able to have power and to use it." Wednesday said smiling.
She did not know where she took those strong feelings from. It was just a sudden feeling that she now wanted all that for their little Daliah.
A/N: Itâs been a while and Iâm ashamed that I made promises I couldnât keep as good as I thought.
So hereâs a tease of âthe air in my lungsâ chapter 8. Its still too short. And I struggle to fill the time between the plots and interesting events. I donât know when I actually post a new chapter.
But Iâm working on it. My holidays are way too short and work is getting the best of me with my migraines âđť but letâs stay positive. Maybe the creative flood will come back soon. I planned to finish the last request I have. When I posted this I Wanne try some more request so I can get more into short storyâs in a short time and practices my writing and creative mind. Maybe this gets me back đđť so donât be shy and send me some more request đ
Could you do a fanfic where all of JOs characters meet and R has to explain they're all characters in movies and shows and how they're acted by R's gf, Jenna Ortega?
Characters would preferably be the following: Wednesday, Tara, Vada, Camila, Phoebe, Lorraine, Mabel, Ellie and Cairo (Even tho that movie isn't out yet)
If you don't want to use all the characters thats fine lol.
I'm too lazy to write this myself.

Based on a request: Could you do a fanfic where all of JOs characters meet and R has to explain they're all characters in movies and shows and how they're acted by R's gf, Jenna Ortega?
Characters would preferably be the following: Wednesday, Tara, Vada, Camila, Phoebe, Lorraine, Mabel, Ellie and Cairo (Even tho that movie isn't out yet)
If you don't want to use all the characters thats fine lol. I'm too lazy to write this myself.

ââââââââ
Itâs been one of those rare summer days where the clouds were turning into a coal grey way and turning the whole light that fell onto the earth in a mix of yellow light and dark highlites. I saw just seconds ago a light struck in the corner of my eyes as I turned my head towards the window in the living room trying to say âthere was a lightning it mus-â and then there was it.
A growl. Something that sounded like a crisp crash high in the distance but still like it was happening right next to you. Thunder.
I chuckled to myself. Before I could end my own sentence the thunder had spoken for itself.
I walked towards the window. Watching rain falling down in an immense amount, feeling glad that I was in my apartment and didnât had to walk through that wild mess.
âRain... Rain is like a heavy mood. It is sad but it has a beautiful way of calming you down at the same time. Rain can make you cry but it can also make you calm"
I heard the familiar voice of my girlfriend. But kept watching the rain without turning around and smiled.
"You know... Rain can also be a bit spooky. Rain makes the shadows darker. Rain makes the dark even darker. Rain makes mystery even more mysterious."
I chuckled saying âwow that one turned a bit dark I guessâŚâ I was turning around Expecting to see her soaked in the rain. Seeing already in front of my eyes how her bangs were probably all wet and sticking on her forehead. But when my eyes met hers, i was quite confused and a light laugh escaped me.
âWhy do you look like Wednesday Addams?â I asked her. Walking a step towards her. It was almost like she became one with the shadows in the room. Wearing a big black coat. Covering what she was wearing under it. Her also black doc martens being pretty visible.
Her hair was darker then it was before she left to meet Enrique and prepare things for the upcoming met gala. I looked at her with a tilted head.
âI thought that people stopped asking stupid questions but here you are⌠another example for our current lost generationâ she said monotone.
I looked even more confused feeling like there were tons of gears moving in my head and that she could see them âIâm confusedâŚâ I barely whispered.
âI often have that affect on peopleâŚâ
She said and looked with an almost disgusted gaze at me. Scanning me from head to toe making me feel some kinda way uneasy. Even though I really loved the way Jenna played Wednesday Addams⌠that type of character was defiantly to much to handle. I found enough courage despise the mixed feelings I had and was about to say something when I recognized another figure beside me. My eyes landing on dark brown eyes, Emphasized with dark eyeliner wich Jenna rarely wore.
My mouth opened slight. Looking even more confused by now if this was possible.
My eyes scanning her figure within seconds. Seeing her wearing some short hot pants with a thin top and a congnac brown leather jacket. The fit feeling pretty familiar to me.
She was wearing eye makeup but the rest of her face was all clean. Wich made her freckles more present than usual. A smile with also slight confusion covered her face âwow you look pretty emoâŚâ was what she said. But she didnât said it to me.
âSome would consider Iâm the definition of emoâ said the one who looked like Wednesday.
I felt my heart running faster looking between the both of them.
âYou see her too?â I asked Jenna beside me. But I wasnât sure if it was actually Jenna.
âYeah I do⌠by the way whatâs your name?â
She answered giving me that big smile that showed her dimples and made me feel a bit flustered. That smile always had an effect on me.
But I was way to overwhelmed to actually tell her my name since there were two people that looked like Jenna so I asked
âWho are you?â
âMabelâŚâ she said and gave me a very knees weakening look, combined with that smile.
âMabel⌠WednesdayâŚâ I whispered looking between the both of you.
âWhat the hell is going on?â I asked more myself than both of them.
And right when the last few words left my mouth there was another person appearing in the living room. But the person seemed to be way to focused on my bookshelves.
All three of us watched the person.
She was wearing a white dress, showing her curves and long legs wich were wearing knee high brown boots. A tiny bag was hanging over her shoulders as her tiny but also gentle looking hands touched the backs of the books. Reading in silence the title names. Her hair was falling over her back in beautiful waves. The little light in the living room falling on it and showing a mixture of brown and red highlites.
âY/N I don't think you have real books here... you have a Harry Potter book.. that's not a real bookâ She scrunches up her face âI'm sorry but it's the truthâ She picks up a book and checks the title âUgh... It's called a touch of darkness and it's about Persephone and Hades in a version of a Greek world in our time? *She shrugs it off*â
I felt a bit offended but also didnât knew what to say.
Wednesday said âif you like Greek mythology you at least couldâve read the real tales. Like the ilias or oddyseyâ I nodded slightly ashamed and my gaze met Mabelâs she whispered âI only watched Percy Jackson once so donât look at me for helpâŚâ
I took a deep breath and looked back at the woman beside my shelves. She had turned around by now and was lightning up a cigarette. I could see the amount of rings on her other hand and that cheeky but also dangerous smile on her dark bordo lips.
âCairo Sweet?â I asked speechless.
âWow well thatâs a âŚunique nameâ said Mabel with a chuckled.
âI would say being called after a weekday is more unusual then being called as a well know city with historyâŚâ said Cairo and gave Wednesday a look.
My eyes widened feeling like Cairo was about to die.
â Iâm named after a nursery rhyme containing the line âWednesday's child is full of woe.â The poem, which assigns personalities to children based on the day they were born, dates back to at least 1838. Cairo-Sweet. What kinda name is that, anyway? Sounds like the kind they'd use in a very bad written fanfictionâ Wednesday glares at Cairo for daring to question the legitimacy of her name and gives her a dead stare.
I looked at both of them excited now and chuckled saying âas a writer you should have know that Cairo⌠you better not mess with Wednesday. Sheâs a writer and she could kill you if she wantsâ
Mabel beside me just whispered quite âokay this is getting very interesting hereâ
Wednesday and Cairo were throwing glares at each other when another person moved to my side and said âwhat kind of fever dream is that?â
I laughed and shaked my head looking at my right side to see another version of my girlfriend, wearing basketball shorts and an oversized shirt. I felt like nothing could surprise me anymore at this point so I smiled friendly and held my hand out saying âyour Vada right? Nice to meet you Iâm Y/Nâ
Vada smiled and shook my hand. I was explaining to her what was currently happening and introduced the others to her. Vadas hand rested on my shoulder now as she said âitâs like the most weirdest names Iâve ever seenâŚâ an awkward smile appearing on her lips.
âYouâre not surprised about the fact that you all look exact the same? Just different?â
Suddenly there was a Laugh âYeah, there's a glitch in the system or something. It's just kind of...â said the 5.1 Latina beside me and shrugged. I looked speechless at Tara fucking Carpenter. Not sure if I was in a fan girl mode or going right into the simp mode.
âTara Carpenter⌠holy shitâ I whispered and looked at her stunned. Not sure how to process this all. She gave me a friendly smile and my head felt like exploding.
âShe good?â Asked another version of Jennaâs Characters. Sitting on the armchair with her sunglasses and smoothie as she held a tiny book in her hands. Ellie from you I assumed.
My eyes kept jumping between all those people in my living room. Noticing even more of them.
â10 dollars sheâs gonna pass outâ said Wednesday cold as Cairo agreed and jumped in the bet. In my living room weâre around six characters that my girlfriend had played and it was way to hard to understand what the hell was going on.
No matter in what direction I looked. They were everywhere. Talking, arguing, connecting.
I took a deep breath and sat down on my couch. âWhat the hell is going on?â I asked louder and everyone became silent.
They looked at each other and shrugged their shoulders.
âI have to admit this is weird⌠for real why do we all look like the same person?â Asked now Vada pointing out her hands at everyone.
Everyone looked around, till all gazes fell on me. Tara walked towards me saying âyou seem to know every one of us⌠so you may enlighten us?â I nodded in an almost trance like mode and got up. Standing in the center while all of them were standing around me like in a circle.
âOkay⌠maybe this is some weird multiverse thing? A Paradoxon? Or Iâm dreaming⌠dead⌠I donât know but!â I said looked at all of you.
I shrugged my shoulders
âWell what can I say you all are movie charactersâŚâ
â Y/N are you feeling alright? Or are the fumes from the glue factory getting to you?âWednesday gives me a cold stare âOr do you need to sit down? Do you need a hit with the shovel so the bad thoughts go away?â
I looked at her serious saying
âWhat?! No! ListenâŚâ I said and reached for my phone. I typed in Wednesday in Netflix and showed it to her and the others.
Cairo Looks at me with confusion âWhat a nerd, knowing all the facts about movie characters and who plays them. Like, who cares? Iâve got better things to do all day long than waste my time on silly little facts of the past, and I donât even want to waste my time being in the same room as a loser like you!â She glares at me, showing clear signs of aggression.
âOkay you are defiantly meaner as you seem in your movieâŚâ I said slight offended and looked over at Tara who was my fav character. Seeking for some comfort
She Shrugs âOh donât let her bother you, sheâs... Anyways, did you guys want to talk about anything specific or are we going to all go to our separate corners and just stare at each other? I mean, that sounds kind of odd if I say it outloud...â
I laughed nervous âI would like to know why you guys even are here in the first place⌠this is against all rules. How is this even possible?â
âYouâll find a lot of things hard to explain away with logic, you know? Especially a certain someone who likes to hang out with a bunch of fictional charactersâ said Wednesday monotone and gave me another cold, intimidating stare âbeside that you better stop trying to convince us that we are only movie characters. Iâll be good for you, if you drop the topicâ
âWhy? After all you all just appeared out of nowhere in my Apartment!..â I said a bit angry. Starting to feel like I was the bad one here suddenly.
Mabel looked around while playing with her moving her hands in the back of her pockets âSo, what should we talk about then?â She asks awkwardly.
Vada was sitting in the corner and stares at the floor then says âI feel like the most... average one here....â
Tara Looks at Vada awkwardly âDon't say that... you're just as special as all of us. You're not average. Don't ever think that!â
âYeah sheâs right. You are special and we love you⌠what youâve been through was awfulâ I said reassuring and hugged her. Since I knew what Vada had been through cause I watched the movie obviously, I had a soft spot for her.
âUh... Thanks y/n......â She awkwardly hugged me back and blushed a little bit, looking down and covering her face. âHow did you know?.....â She looked up at me a bit more, curious than before.
âBecause youâre a movie character and I saw your story⌠thatâs what Iâm trying to explain to you guysâ I sighed and looked at Tara.
âTara you have a sister called Sam. You two had been survivors of a ghostface attack two times. You have several stab wounds in your abdomen and shoulder and on your hand as well. Sam ist the daughter of the origin Ghostface killer, Billy Loomies â I explained âYour form the movie called Scream, your character was introduced in the fifth and sixth movie⌠my fav onesâ I added with a shy smile.
Tara looked around impressed âHow do you even know all these facts?â She whispered and realized that I knew all the names without even asking any one of you âItâs like, magic or something?â She asked.
I looked at Cairo and said âAnd your form one of the current movies my girlfriend made. Itâs called millers girl. And yeah. I know what you did. Accusing your teacher for something he did not really do but Iâm on your side tho. But itâs not cool to kiss and blackmail your best friend Winnie. Your dangerous Cairo. But I still feel mesmerized by you⌠somehowâ I explained and shrugged.
Cairo rolled her Eyes âWow, just wow. Who cares? I didn't ask for your input so keep it to yourself please and thank youâ She turns her cigarette off and crosses her arms, giving me a pissed look.
âYou are really mean... You seemed so nice at the beginning of your movieâ i said almost disappointed. âYeah well I turned out to be different and that's too bad for youâ She continues to glare at me with aggressive eyes.
I sighed again and looked at Mabel.
âMabel. Youâre from the movie finestkind. Youâre dating some fisher guy. Itâs about crime and drugs. Your character is only a side character but youâre cool. Pretty bold and flirty. You had some spicy scenes respect for thatâŚâ
âWow you really do know a lot-â She was cut off by Wednesday, who started making an unimpressed sound.
I turned to her âAnd then the one and only Wednesday Addams. You are the currently new portrayed version of that character. You have your own tv show. You attend a dark Academy and solve crimes and murderes⌠second season will come out soon and by the way⌠people ship you pretty hard with Enidâ
Wednesday looked me dead in the eyes âI do not appreciate your tone of delivery at all. Iâm going to have to ask you to watch it a little, or else⌠thatâs the nicest I can makeâ She gives me a scary look of disapproval and anger.
âHey I didnât wanted to be harsh or something⌠Iâm just trying to telling you guys about the movies you all are from. I donât know how you made it to my universe but you are all not real in this oneâŚâ
âIts your fault we're all here in the first place, so itâs best if you donât go around with a mouth that likes to spill every detail about us that you possibly can, hmm?â Wednesday gave me a threatening look, daring me to break eye contact first.
I felt a bit hurt and said quite
âSorry⌠but I really donât how all of you came hereâ I looked around âYou all just appeared suddenlyâ I said softly.
âitâs time for you to make us all disappearâ Wednesday looked at me with cold, empty, soulless eyes.
âI donât know howâ exhausted I looked in the eyes of all of them.
âLook guys, letâs not make things too hard on her. She didn't even do anything, all of us just suddenly appeared and its not her fault! â said Tara and stands up for me. I felt so relived when Tara stand up for me, making me fall for her even harder. Okay focus y/n Jenna is your girlfriend. But yeah⌠I also love all characters she plays⌠nevermind.
âI must say, you are very pretty y/n...â said randomly Mabel with a smile.
âTh-thank youâ I said blushing hard and looked down.
Vadas eyes fell on me âYeah, Taraâs right though. She didnât have anything to do with why weâre here, did she?â Glances at Wednesday and Cairo, looking suspicious.
Cairo Shrugs âIâve been trying to find out but so far I havenât got a clue...â Her eyes narrow as she looks at her surroundings âWe need to figure this out as soon as possible...â
âWell as soon as possible isnât quick enough for me, Iâm not going to sit around here forever just to wait this all outâ Wednesday added.
âYou guys can do what ever you want.
I donât know how all of you became real. Just know that in this universe none of you is supposed to be realâ I said and sat down on the couch exhausted
Wednesday Shrugs âWell we didn't do it on purpose. It's just something crazy I guess...
What if we never make our way back...â She looks at everyone with a cold, intimidating stare. Itâs clear sheâs trying to hold her anger in check for the moment.
âCome on, don't even talk like that Wednesday... we'll find our way back, one way or another...â Tara said.
âYeah right? We're not stuck here with her forever!â Cairo shudders at the thought.
âOuch?â I said not sure if I should feel offended.
âYou should feel offended. We are going to find a way out of here and when we do, I am making sure I stay the hell away from youâ She glares at me again.
I gave Cairo a thumbs up and looked at Tara speechless saying
âI canât believe I actually had a crush when I watched her movie back thenâ
Vada shrugged âWell I'm glad you changed your mindâ
âWhy? What kind of crush did you have on me?â asked Cairo, not letting her anger die down yet.
âNoneâ I said trying to end the conversation. âCome on, you can tell me. Please?â She leans forward with puppy eyes, but they look a little bit sinister.
âJust for the record since my girlfriend plays all your characters I do have a thing for all of you for sureâ
âWhat do you mean your girlfriend plays all of us?â Wednesday gives me a suspicious look, leaning in closer and giving a scary look again. âMy girlfriend. The actress. Who portrays all your characters in this universeâ
Mabel stares at me for a while. Her eyes narrow even more than before* What's her name?â
âI donât buy itâ Wednesday scoffed
âWhat's that supposed to mean, Wednesday?â I asked
âThat was an act, youâre not just now realizing that y/nâs girlfriend is the one who plays all of us. I think sheâs trying to hide somethingâ
âIâm telling the truth you can google itâ I said louder
Wednesday Takes me by the collar and glares at me with a cold, intimidating look âOkay then, Y/N. I want the truth and I want to know now. Whatâs your play here?â
Some part of me felt scared and turned on. It took me some time to answer. âI swear nothing. I was just enjoying my day off and suddenly all of you were hereâ
âAnd nothing at all happened before that?â Wednesdays voice was getting more and more sinister as each second passed.
âA storm came up. Thunder⌠lightningâ I explained. âHm... a storm...â She let go of my collar and turned her back on me. She began pacing around the room silently.
âMaybe it has to do with the storm then? Some Paradoxon?â I said
Wednesday looked st me âIs that really all you know? You have no other secrets youâre holding back?â
âNothing. Iâm the most boring person right hereâ I said quite
âBoring?â She looked back at me and smirked, and turned back around again âIf you think your life isnât interesting, then youâd better make your peace with this life being all youâll ever be. You have no purpose here. You have nothing to contribute to this worldâ She stopped her pacing and turned back around again âThis is it for you. This is all your life is worthâ She let me take that in for a while before speaking again âSo do not call yourself boring ever again. You hear me?â
I nodded feeling touched.
âGoodâ She sat down next to me, and put her hand on my shoulder. After a while of silence, she finally broke the tension âIâm sorry I yelled at you. I shouldnât have done thatâ She looked down at her feet, ashamed.
âThank you⌠i really appreciate your apologyâ I whispered feeling better now.
âOkay since we all donât know why youâre here and Iâm tired of explaining and arguing⌠Wanne watch a movie together?â
