Feel free to use them! My headcanons! Part one of my TV World Darkner biology series.
Pippinses are quite like a bug or a crustacean in terms of their bodily construction and base animal inspiration for me. They have a thick plastic covering which contains their meats and muscles on the inside. They still have bones, but it is closer to cartoon bones then proper ones, and have no bones in their heads. It is the thickest, the plastic on their heads which have a structure by default built to take heavy amounts of blunt force impact for both play, battle and being the base of their actual object. So their heads are both the most important part of them and the most sturdy piece of them. And due to being the representation of their Light World form, it is also the most sensitive in terms of touch, due to dice being used for very physical reasons usually in games and being a common fidget item.
Due to this plastic shell, their insides are largely insulated from heat and the cold, making them an Darkner type able to live in many circumstances no matter how the Darkworld is unless the environment is very extreme.
For their bodies, by default it is simplistic plastic separated by thin connecting pieces like that of a doll, though the type can vary, usually it is quite akin to ball jointed dolls and the like. The joints are the most fragile place for a Pippins, due to their structure their joints are inherently weaker than the rest of them and especially prone to health issues or damages such as cracks or chips in plastic.
Their hands have four fingers in total with the tips being clawed. Their hands have flexible plastic for the joints making it one smooth thing compared to the joints of the rest of their body. Though this can be worn away on older ones. For my pippinses I go for non-retractable claws made of hardened resin by default, with variable sizes in thickness, length, sharpness and shape, though some pips can have retractable claws, those that do tend to have smaller ones on average. They have softer pliable plastic on the insides of their hands and the soles of their feet make them more able to pick things up and also help improve them in tandem with the claws in climbing.
Depending on who owned them in the lightworld and factors such as manufacturing, in order of rareness, they can either have doll-like feet, paws, or in very rare cases, hooves or talons. This is a fluid movement and combinations of these kinds are possible alongside exceptions, but those are something so rare it takes looking at several Dark Worlds of Pippinses to find a single one who falls out of the scale. And this can shift depending on the Dark World. Most Pippinses in TV World have paws due to the Dreemurrs having paws. Their legs are naturally built for bursts of speed, jumping high, the padding to help absorb some of the impact. Stamina comes a bit more difficult to a decent chunk of Pippinses.
Depending on the Dark World, it can change how their heads are connected. Though their heads can always roll and spin and the like. Darkners in my view are very imagination based and the base ideas had by things around can influence core parts of them, but only in appearance, not in personality apart from extreme cases. If a Darkner is especially attached to how they look, even when coming to a new Dark World this will not change.
In TV World Pippinses' heads float and are disconnected from their bodies, able to float due to magic, but it very much like magnetism, you can drag their head away and it'll go back to floating above their body unless you tug it hard enough to break the connection. Heads can bob up and down and spin a full all around.
Card Castle Pippinses' heads are connected to them by a doll like next, they're able to pop their heads off and move them like TV World Pips, but it comes less naturally to them, with this their heads are more firmly connected and able to take more damage, but they have less range of motion.
Cyber City Pippinses would have something similar neck wise to the connection point of a movable monitor. Able to swivel their heads a lot and have multiple joints in their neck. Both connecting their head to their body and providing range. But in turn comparatively fragile and joints of the neck often damaged.
Dark Sanctuary Pippinses would have their heads behave quite similar to TV World Pippinses but instead with one notable difference. The way their heads move is similar to the movement of prophecy panels, bobbing often.
When plastic is damaged for them, it usually can be repaired with healing or natural healing, though if enough time passes with a big enough wound plastic or resin needs to be used to patch the gap. Head damage when deep requires more attention to prevent chips, cracks and the like weighing the Pippins towards a specific roll and causing them potential issues in socializing with others.
If the damage is severe enough the inner flesh is left permanently revealed, vulnerable to infections and further damages, in which case the surrounding plastic is also put under stress by compensating and also the likely cracks and deeper spread damages. Pippinses with this much damage usually get a plastic cover and bandages, alongside tape, to help protect it from more.
Their blood is quite like the blood of a human being, with the key difference of being able to be used like UV resin and drying into something more like thin sheets of plastic or wax when dried.

the different accessories are to show their ranks but ever since (most) of the card kingdom pippinses ended up in tv world, they started to lose their value because those guys are treated the same anyway!! so they just hide it or don't use it since they don't see a point to anymore! though some still wear it purely for accessory purposes + cool factor
thought putting in different colored highlights/additional design depending on the rank would be cute too!

ray -> the pippins' sunglasses. taken from "sun" in sunglasses that eventually turned into a play on "ray of sunshine"! yeah that's pretty much it
starbadge -> pippins in the green room + s-rank room, there's a common star wallpaper in those two rooms
bit -> the gamer pippins, it's an 8bit reference (thanks oomf for suggesting!)
64 -> they're a unique case. that was supposed to be star's name (since â64 = 8 -> h8er = hater) before i transferred it for [trichannel purposes] because i liked that name
