A thought regarding AvA 14

(AvA 13 Spoilers Obviously)

First of all.

OK THAT ASIDE.

Knowing almost the full extent of Dark's plan of taking over the world by assimilating everyone into his "obey me machine," a thought came across my head. Clearly, the people that are revived through the machine keep their abilities i.e. Hacker. But if Dark REALLY wants to go global... shouldn't he target more than just helpless civilians so that he can have more manpower spread across the land? But where would he start? It's not like we have footage of...

There is NO visual indication of the assimilated being part of Dark's army. No aura. No beaming red eyes. They simply just. Obey him. So even if these guys can survive, they'll have no idea who to trust at a glance. It would be outright chaos.

Another factor is how the virus works in regards to blade cutting. When Hacker is revived from the machine, his abilities suddenly gain virablade properties, like his transform ability:

Animator vs. Animation - 20th Anniversary!

A day or two late, but I created something to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Alan Becker's very own Animator vs. Animation, brought to life on June 3, 2006!

And fun fact: this is actually one of the art pieces I've submitted for my contribution to the @ava-anniversary-zine, hosted by @sammy8d257, @storgicbytes, and @violetlauren (thank you so much for hosting)!

Despite the time crunch I had (thanks to my work schedule; 12-hour, 3- to 4-day night shifts are such a pain 😫😩), I had a lot of fun making this. While I don't partake in the fandom as often as I would like to anymore (although I am considering doing so again, maybe sometime in the future), I'm so glad I got the chance to participate in something to celebrate a very important date for the community. This is one of the animated series that means so much to me, one I hold very near and dear to my heart, and I can only hope it continues to grow, and more people can come to watch and eventually fall in love with it, just like what happened to me almost 10 years ago.

Happy 20th anniversary, Animator vs. Animation! Here's to many more years ahead! 💖🎉
