When I tell people I overplayed the hell out of Chemical Miracle by Trophy Eyes I srsly wasn't kidding lol it's a great album and I'm glad I got to hear a good portion of the songs from that album performed live this summer at Warped. "I am the ocean, I am the sea, there is a world inside of me." - Bring Me The Horizon // There was a specific style that I wanted for this tattoo so for everyone asking I made a trip to get tattooed by @jaycewallingford + I'm glad I did bc now I've got some dope artwork that goes perfectly with those lyrics. I wouldn't say that those lyrics are from my favorite song/album by BMTH - Sempiternal actually is, which would explain why I included the flower of life, but anyway those lyrics have always stuck with me. BMTH allowed me to know that it was okay to have different perspectives from other people. At such a young age their music helped me become more open minded, be creative, and unique despite what anyone else had to say about me. They also introduced to some amazing bands whose music also inspired me in different ways. After all these years of growing up listening to BMTH + seeing others get tattoos inspired by their lyrics I'm glad to finally have my own original piece. (at All Scared Tattoo)

Happy October, definitely my favv month. Earlier this year I got to see BMTH for a 2nd time since their comeback year at warped 2013 - it was the greatest thing ever. It's wild that their album Suicide Season just turned 9 years old a few days ago. I remember at 11 years old that was one of the bands that got me into heavier music. Now in exactly two weeks I will finally be getting a #bmth inspired tattoo that I've been wanting for years. Can't wait to see it all come full circle.
