best thing tumblr ever did for me is the term "rotating it in my mind". it's really true that sometimes you think about something real hard but you can't tell what the thoughts are exactly. it's revolutionary stuff, i might even say
sometimes the subject of your thoughts is just in this thing

Hi.
So
I have a very vague request.
The finale. I watched it.
Can you make me feel better?
You can approach this ask from any angle you'd like.
Thank you for your time.
Apparently we will be making more use of our #fix-it tag following the s3 finale. Here's the first batch...
Again by HKBlack (G)
Crowley sits up with a gasp, his eyes flying open. He is met by a familiar pair of blue eyes, snow white hair, and a look of shock. Six thousand years and change come flooding back. Six thousand years and change plus ninety-six, ninety-six, a good half or more of those together, all in a jumble. They stare at each other as the jumble, no doubt echoed in those blue eyes, carefully sorts itself, and the shock quickly morphs into joy. “Angel,” Crowley breathes. -- They meet again in the same place they said goodbye.
Love without end by HolRose (T)
Aziraphale comforts Crowley after a very strange nightmare. There is kissing and so much love
What I Had Left Here (I Just Held It Tight) by hope_in_the_dark (T)
“Angel,” Crowley said slowly, “what are you thinking?” “We are outside of time, aren’t we,” Aziraphale said, looking exceedingly pleased with himself. “I thought we might be.” Canon-compliant with GO3. A little (a lot) more time for them to be an us.
Two Sides of the Same Coin by WhatDoYouMeanIWasGooglingCoolUsernames (G)
“What do you want, Crowley?” He wanted a lot of things. He wanted everything to be back the way it was. He wanted to dine at the Ritz, drinking and talking and laughing without another care in the world. ”I want…” Crowley paused, exhaling slowly. “I want us to live, angel.” OR: Season 3 alternate ending in which they were just a tad more selfish than they were in the show
The End Of The Story by CopperBeech (G)
Everything's gone but the bookshop. Satan's just appeared. Except... everything's not gone. Quite. Nor everyone.
glory in tribulations by midnightdragons (G)
“Demons,” he said quietly, “aren’t s’posed to love anything. You know that s’well as I do, Aziraphale.” Crowley closed his eyes, bringing a hand up to rub at his temple, where the small sigil of a serpent lay coiled. He drew in a long breath, shuddering and filled with grief. “But I always knew that that was wrong, because of you.”
In the bookshop at the end of the universe, Aziraphale and Crowley have some things to say to each other - and Someone else has some things to say to them, too. (Or: an ambiguous-ending AU to Good Omens 3).

Making History by K.J. Parker. Finished June 3, 2026; kindle book and audible at the same time
I’ve really enjoyed tiny novellas from KJ Parker in the past like Prosper’s Demon and Inside Man. This books is about a group of scholars forced by a dictator to come up with an ancient civilization, so the dictator can justify his war with a neighboring country. Just a weird little guy of a book with an amazing cover that roped me in. Don’t want to say too much, just give it a try if this is your vibe.

Generations: The Real Differences Between Gen Z, Millenials, Gen X, Boomers, and Silents — and What They Mean for America’s Future by Jean Twenge. Finished June 2, 2026; audiobook on Everand
Following my usual routine of throwing a non-fiction in amidst the fiction, I decided to check out this book about the generations of people currently living in America. It started out really interesting, especially the Silents and Boomer chapters. But as it got into Millenials and Gen Z and beyond I started to lose interest, mostly because the author seemed to ignore the emotional aspect of living in today’s world in favor of sticking with demographics and census surveys and the de-emphasis of the general shitty vibes of modern life and how that makes everyone feel like they’re experiencing “the horrors” kind of rubbed me the wrong way. My measuring stick was me waiting for the author to mention school shootings, and waiting and waiting and then they mentioned it so quickly and in passing and flippantly that I basically checked out after that. So this book was just okay for me.

Three Bags Full by Leonie Swann. Finished May 27, 2026; audiobook on Everand
I started reading this weeks ago after seeing that Fansplaining had written a long-form piece about it. I can definitely see why this is a bit of a cult classic book, but it took me forever to finish it. I just wasn’t getting hooked into the premise of a flock of sheep becoming detectives to try and solve the murder of their shepherd. I don’t know guys, it just never got me. I’m glad those sheep are doing well though. Good luck god bless.

The Employees by Olga Ravn. Finished May 27, 2026, paperback
I visited a new indie bookstore called Mermaid Books and bought this tiny book simply based on the cover, which gave me Severance vibes. This book doesn’t really ever let you know any specifics about what’s going on. It’s basically a found document situation via employee status reports. What I gleaned from it all was that there were human and humanoid employees working on a generation ship with some unknown goal. They discover a planet and take on some objects from the generically named planet “New Discovery.” The employees are slowly losing their grip on reality and on their jobs of being productive amid tensions between the crew and strong feelings attached to the objects. Very strong picking through a file cabinet of grievances you’re not meant to see. Gotta love a weirdo little guy of a scifi book though.
get in loser we’re gonna try again despite it all
Feeling so unwell... Had Colin not left the group, would Ted and Trent have had a fateful encounter at the museum? Would they have grabbed dinner at the Yankee Doodle Burger Barn together? Would Ted have found the something new he was looking for, something to break him out of the box that he was stuck in (in terms of his personal life)?
There are some parallels between Ted's dinner at the American-themed restaurant and his meal with Trent in S01E03... And Trent is dressed in a yellow shirt and green trousers, sunflower colors... Meanwhile, Ted and Collin are both wearing solid orange tops. "Right by this big pink triangle"... There's so much! Why? Why is the missed connection between Ted and Trent this episode so obvious? I have been thinking about this for months.
