Dandelion Hair (v2)

I started painting version 1 of Dandelion Hair in early 2021, but I was never happy with the result. I'm not even sure if I'm happy with version 2, but with each iteration I aim to improve until I am happy with it. Maybe in another year or two I'll tackle version 3~

I wrote briefly about this scene earlier but I have to go back to this panel to mention his gear. This is like a rare insight into Kakashi's life as a shinobi outside of being a jōnin sensei. A life where he leaves the backpack at home and instead carries extra bags on his utility belt. Where he goes on missions where he feels the need to bring the big knife along. These little details added to his regular outfit make me want to know all about what he's up to when he's sent out on his own.

I mostly just want to see him fight with that knife tbh.

i love how a big part of elizabeth bennet’s character is that she is obviously very smart, she is very observant, but she can easily be led astray by her preconceived notions, by things that she already has convinced herself of believing. and this is most obvious by her not seeing mr. darcy’s proposal coming at all, because girl that man was openly flirting with her. i don’t think this is shown a lot in the movie or the tv series, but he keeps teasing her, answering her witty remarks with a smile, the whole “i am not afraid of you” thing. like, charlotte saw it coming, colonel fitzwilliam definitely saw it coming, the gardiners knew as soon as they saw them together later in the book, mr darcy was not as subtle as he thought he was being
