Danielle looked up at the man with an unamused look and shrugged. “I am but they are late, and if you talk do so facing the other way.”
“Ohh..kay..” Matt mumbled, shaking his head in confusion as he took his seat next to her. The silence between then was awkward after a minute or so. “I’m sorry, is everything okay?”

Iris stood in line to the coffee shop, watching the guy who seemed to only be looking at her. “I think that’s the guy I refused to do a tattoo on the other day,” she said, leaning towards the person next to her. “Do you think I need to make sure I’ve got all the doors locked when I get back to my place? Or is he just being creepy for creepy’s sake?”
Matt peered at the man she was pointing out to, avoiding obvious eye contact. “I mean, he doesn’t seem to be dangerous, but you can never be too confident. Better to be safe than sorry, I’d say. I could possibly accompany you on your way home, if that’s alright?” He asked.

“Does it not bother you that it is this small?… the shell, I mean. I’ve seen bigger.”
“Not really. I mean, different shells come in different sizes so...” He shrugged.
“I’m going on a limb to say you’ve come to Buttercrust Pastries to have one of my amazing pastries, to see my beautiful face, or a mixture of both.” She smirked eyeing the other as she leaned on the counter top.
“I..um…” Matt froze, trying to let the words spill from his mouth, which he did after a long pause. “I came for the pastries, yes. No offence though.”
“Well — I’m here. What the hell was so important you had to call me out to the middle of nowhere?”
"-I'm sorry?" Matt said blankly, looking around him, in case they were talking to someone else. "I think you've got the wrong person, I don't even know who you are."
“He just came up to me out of nowhere, and I’m in love. I’m never letting this guy go, we’ll have a June wedding.”
"Hope you don't forget to invite me. Or even better, I can be the celebrant. You both are a match made in monkey heaven." He joked.
“For a very low cost I’m willing to serenade your boyfriend, girlfriend, grandma, dog, or all of the above. And believe me when I say that once I’m done I’ll leave them enchanted, and loving you forever.”
"I literally have like no freaking clue what you're on about, uh."
“I had a bad start to the year, I haven’t slept in two days and I feel like either slapping or punching someone, so I suggest you don’t bother me.”
"Woah there, no need to get all Diana Prince on me." Matt put up his hands, blinking awkwardly. "I was just gonna ask if you're saving the seat for someone else."
