truly some people have no genre savviness whatsoever. A girl came back from the dead the other day and fresh out of the grave she laughed and laughed and lay down on the grass nearby to watch the sky, dirt still under her nails. So many people hate their own body so much and are so casually fatphobia toward themself and the thing is, when you're not, when you've healed yourself enough that you can look at yourself and say "my body is just a body that does body things" it becomes nearly impossible to be around people who openly hate their bodies. It feels like they're flinging their muck all over you, and you gotta shake yourself out so it doesn't stick. And misery really does love company. They'll talk about how fat they are and how they can't eat this or that or wear certain clothes or cut their hair short, and they want you to lament with them. And you gotta not, okay? You gotta not. You gotta walk away from that shit.

And you HAVE to pay attention to the things you say about your own body in front of other people, lest you become the person flinging your muck onto others.

You know, there's this cliché that teenage boys always eat massive amounts, but teenage girls really aren't that different if they're not suppressed by diet culture and body shaming. Like, I was a teenage girl who frankly just stopped bothering to fit into mainstream beauty ideals at some point, and I would regularly make myself just one big massive pot of pasta and devour it completely. This wasn't even stress eating or anything, I just genuinely needed the energy because you know, I was a teenager and my body was developing. I feel like so many teenage girls think they need to eat as little as possible to be petite and pretty, but the truth is that your body is developing just as intensely as teenage boys' bodies. Eat more, please, your body needs it.

I don’t think we ought to normalize or justify bullying as a means to keep people from being annoying — a sentiment that in and of itself could make for a whole article’s worth of conversation — but I do think we should make a habit of politely but directly telling people “hey I didn’t like that”, “that wasn’t funny”, “you are mistaken”, and the like if it’s called for, and more importantly, you should be able to take a “that wasn’t funny” for instance without taking it personally, because protecting a polite harmony where no one can criticize each other, not even politely, is also really, really bad.

For clarity's sake: by intersex, I mean bodily intersex. As in the non-omegaverse/misce/cirnatura, not an "in-sys" plural identity. I find "intersex in-system" and intersex to mean "both a peritypical vulva and penis/scrotum" offensive and intersexist. For "intersex in-system," please use any other label than intersex. I believe that the intersex label is for bodily intersex people only.

Some consider putting slashes between each letter as being on thin ice while others consider it still overtly racist. Just use omegaverse/misce/cirnatura, or rearrange the letters to a/o/b or something. I will not intentionally reblog anything using the shortening. If I accidentally do, please let me know so I can delete it.

My name is Mint, but ironically we actually all hate mint as a flavor and smell. The plant is nice though! Except when gardening. My scent is that of hot chocolate :) — I am the only member of the collective who is cirnatura, though we bleed and merge together frequently, which results in my headmates being "omega-by-proxy" at times. I see myself sort of "literally just an omega from the omegaverse in headspace/internally/in subjective reality and cirnatura in the shared reality."

By disabled, I mean that I am AuDHD (+ some other things) with several physical ailments that don't really disable me on their own but together they are a force to be reckoned with.

I am plural in the way that I am multiple people and we are multiple alternative selves to one person. I am not the "main personality." We use we & I interchangeably. Sometimes that gets confusing when it's not clear who "I" am in this situation. Unfortunately, nothing to be done about that. Any attempts we have made to clarify have failed. Sorry. We fluctuate between using "our body" and "my body." We are traumaendo and do not identify as being either non-disordered or disordered. There's no clear lines to where I start and end, we all sort of bleed into each other. There is no I without them, and no them without me. We ID as a median system & use the term collective when referring to us. Our system name is the Euphoria Collective!
