Had some triggers this past week with Noa being in the hospitals and the needles and the IVs and Noa crying. I couldn't help but wonder how did Jonah feel while he was passing away. Heres a little montage of the beginning of Jonah. I ovulated on 7/28/19. I got my BFP on 8/9/19. We saw Luna on 8/24/19. Then we saw Mr. Jonah on 9/6/19. The same day that I got the positive pregancy test is the same day that I took the picture of my belly in the leopard dress. I was 4 weeks pregnant and looked like I was 4 months pregnant! The blue whale outfit was going to be his coming home outfit. Anyway, hi Jonah! We miss you 😘....also, when the doctors asked Noa if he had any brothers or sisters he said "yes I have a brother that's bigger than me, his name is Caleb and I have a sister thats a baby and her name is Luna and also a baby brother in heaven his name is Jonah." 😭😭😭😭 Then a nurse asked him "did your mommy have a boy or a girl?" And he yelled "both!!" Yeah....that......I cry way more than I would like to admit but this shit is hard. Shout out to all the mommies that have lost babies in anyway. Noa update Day 5 Little man is finally sleeping. His oxygen levels are good right now. I was told to have him sleep in a sitting position so he can breathe better. But he had a pretty descent day today. He even had someone come to his room just to play with him for a bit. He had the same nurse for the first two days and when they switched him to another nurse the nurse was upset because he wanted to stay with Noa. All the nurses and doctors liked coming to his room and playing with him. He started talking again today and they saw how funny and annoying he is 😂🤣. Noa Day 4 His retraction is a little worse today so they're going to try and see if they can give him all of his meds through IV to help with the pain in his neck. He is still not eating a descent amount so they're going to get a speech pathologist and another person to try and help with his eating. I guess they are trained to help use tricks to get children to est or something. Later he will get another assessment and the doctors will have a meeting with me about what the next course of actions will be. In this picture you can see his throat retracting quite a bit. It got a little worse last night. Hopefully his swelling goes down with the steroids that he received.
