WIP - The One Where Hans Prefers Forgiveness to Permission

~A little snippet from the next chapter in my Dragon Age AU fic~

The heavy door yawned open and spit Henry out, and Hans cracked the book in his hand shut with one hand, squishing an illustration of a dancing nug with an alarmingly human face. “You certainly took your time,” Hans called out, a light accusation meant to establish the wasting away of his precious downtime.

“Sorry, Ser. Couldn’t find the elfroot salve, so I had to make some myself,” Henry responded, the soft step of his soft leather boots blooming beneath the soles. It was the sound of a good Andrastrian, a pious Andrastian, one that reserved his usual heavy footfalls for the unconsecrated floors of a tavern or bathhouse. Or forge–Hans didn’t exactly know what Henry got up to each day when he wasn’t training in the yard.

He certainly wasn’t expecting ‘becoming a master of medicine’ to be on that list. His brows knit forward in confusion, and Hans slotted the book into its place on the shelf before walking the length of the aisle to meet Henry on the other side.

“Make it yourself?” he repeated incredulously. “So you’re an expert apothecary now, hm? Any other titles you’d like to take on?” Grey Warden, squire, blacksmith’s apprentice–a few more months of this and Henry would be able to single-handedly run the entire city on his own.

Hello Erin! i have a question for you, I dont know if you'll be able to answer but I hope you can!

So let's say I had an idea for the borderlands story that I wanted to share with the borderlands writers team, how would/should I contact them? I've had an idea for a WHILE and though I dont know what gearbox will think of it, I thought it wouldn't hurt to at least try!

Also thank you so much for what you do for the community, genuinely! It's so good to see artists that are into these games get recognition from the games themselves. Please keep going!!
