can’t stop thinking about jean moreau, born into a family indebted to the mafia and born again as an outlet for all the cruelty and rage of said mafia’s most volatile son, with his scarred body that he’s learned to disregard, looking at this beautiful boy with a smile jean can hear even through a phone, but he’s not smiling, not right now, he’s looking at jean’s scarred body and he’s shocked and horrified and devastated, because it’s something that shouldn’t have happened.

can’t stop thinking about jean finally looking up from his exy gear and frowning, because his existence is predicated on his success on the court, but jeremy is looking at him scars instead of what he holds in his hands, the only thing he’s been taught matters. jeremy is looking at his scars, like anything that has been done to jean could ever take precedence over what jean must do to earn the right to exist, and jean doesn’t understand.
