It takes so much effort and energy to hate, but it also takes so much effort and energy to love, so I do nothing and get upset about it — knowing exactly how to fix it and being perfectly aware I probably never will. I don't have the feelings, much less the words to be with people and give them what they need. I wonder how many people are not them, but are instead just badly put together words. One day I hope to wake up and feel the morning breeze instead of just noticing it and pretending I care because I know I'm supposed to.
