A WORLD WITHOUT HEROES!!!!!!!!!! god i fucking adore that fic so much. it's actually the reason i started watching playthroughs of the last of us (im watching markipliers rn and all i can think about is aizawa and izuku im sobbing so hard).

now that i've started watching playthroughs of the game, i can really appreciate the amount of time and effort that must have gone into writing a world without heroes. it truly is such an incredibly written fic. the way you described the characters and their emotions, and the characterisation.... god, you're such an amazing writer its insane.

a world without heroes has to be in my top ten fics of all time. its the kind of story that just stays in your mind rent free, yk? i cant wait to reread it again and again, though i'm heartbroken i cant reset my mind so i can read it for the first time again (i have a very poor memory, however, so i guess this is one good thing that comes out of it).

sorry for the long ask, i just really, really love a world without heroes. it's literally life changing. thank you for writing it, and i look forward to seeing anything you may write in the future! <3

thank you so much for the ask!! i haven’t logged onto social media in a long time/ partook in fandoms, so this was such a nice thing to log into! and very sweet and kind of you to message :’) <3 i have fond memories of the time i was writing and posting this fic (all you readers were so welcoming! seriously, motivated me to push past my writing insecurities and have faith in the story!) i loved the first game and it sort of just clicked with the bnha characters, so i thought it’d be fun to rewrite but with the problem child & dad duo. their found family brought me a lot of comfort, and it makes me happy to know that it’s enjoyable for the readers too :’)

What do you think was the saddest/most emotional part of writing A World Without Heroes? As someone who's reread the fic twice, I can tell you for sure that I've cried far too many times TwT

i found the entire experience of writing and posting this fic to be emotional! the ending was the hardest to do bc of how optimistic and happy it was. seeing aizawa & izuku find family in each other and reasons to live despite the hell they’ve been through sort of hit me personally.

their own characters’ mental struggles were the saddest parts to write since it’s too relatable. the chaps that made me bawl while writing were chap 6, the ends of chap 13 and 21, and ofc the last. at the same time angst is really therapeutic for me to write, sad yeah but it’s much easier than the fluff chapters lmao. the first half of the fic was the most enjoyable to write bc of all the tension and awkwardness while the last arc made me impossibly sadder lol

im not confident in my writing, im not original in story or any of that good stuff so i feel the credit i get as an author for a world without heroes is undeserved. i nearly deleted my ao3 like every chapter in but i very much grew attached to aizawa & izuku’s bond! so seeing their relationship and journey unfold with readers made me emotional/ motivated to see them to the end, despite the qualms i had with my writing :’) thank you for the ask and thank you so much for reading!! <3 <3

do you think you'll ever make a tlou part 2 mha au? : 0

tbh ive thought about it but i like the way a world without heroes ended! i have been tempted to do oneshots of izuku meeting the other kids/ survivors in town but i havent really decided. so if there ever is additional stuff for the au, they’d only be small add-ons as opposed to another main story :’)

there’s a few other mha au’s that i want to write but havent decided on or gotten off the ground lol. thank you for the ask! <3
