“It does compare! When you hurt my pencil you also hurt my feelings!” she joked with a laugh. “Fineee. I might be just a little bit mean, but I do love you, and you are a weirdo.”

Rory smiled and shook his head “So you admit it! I was right and you were wrong!” he laughed “Victory is mine!” he smiled “I love you too.. but you’re the bigger weirdo here”

“Hey, excuse me. Remember that time you snapped my favourite pencil in half? That wasn’t very great of you was it!” she teased.

“This doesn’t even compare. A pencil VS my feelings? I think you take the cake in most evil” he laughed and shook his head. “You mean.. mean girl you”

“Excuse me, Rosie! But you were rude first! All i’ve done is be completely kind and great to you” he laughed

“Oh come on. Don’t be like that,” she laughed holding out her arms. “Hug mee?”

“I was trying to think of something witty to say. I kinda came back with nothing”

“So apparently I have to room with a complete weirdo. Great.”

“I mean it’s not as bad once you’e in a room.” She said with a little laugh. “Having a hard time?”

“Kind of - But i think it’s a lot more to do with my ability. It tires me out a bit sometimes, especially when im around so many people”

Oh cool! Same! I mean.. not an ex fiancee but my best friend is here too. You have a son? Thats cool man, whats his name?

She took his hand and shook it. “Not very long, like a month.”

“Oh cool - same here” he chuckled “It’s weird huh? Getting used to it all”

“Rory, nice to meet you. I’m Eris Angelis.”

“Eris! Nice to meet you too” He smiled holding out his hand to her “How long have you been here?”

“Oh,” Katrina responded with a quick smile and a chuckle. “It is nice,” she looked back to the water briefly. “It’s more than nice,” she said mostly to herself before turning back at him. “I’m Katrina; I just got here a little while ago.”

Rory chuckled and nodded in agreement “I haven’t been out here before, been kinda wrapped up inside” he admitted “Katrina..” he smiled “It’s nice to meet you, I’m Rory” he chuckled

“Good. So what’s your name, boy?” She asked with a soft smile.

“Rory” he smiled “Rory Pearce, and yours girl?” he laughed

“C’mon… There must be something youu want.” She said with a light laugh. “I’m sure we can figure out.”
