That’s very true. There’s some awesome cinemas there. One of my favorites is Ciné Lumière - they mainly show French movies, and I’m trash for that shit.

Dude, me too. But let’s fucking go. Maybe they won’t know it’s me cause I suck at it. It might be this advantage. There are days that I feel great out there, and days where I hate my voice and I feel like it’s cracking on notes in the upper register, and that sucks. It’s great though when it’s all together, and nothing else matters. I’ve met so many people and now I still get shocked when they know my name. People call me and it’s like such and such wants to work with you, and I’m just blown away that they even thought of me. I remember what it was like at the bottom in a little Indie band, so I’m not used to all the attention. When we were asked to play Vegas for the Stanley Cup a couple years ago, I was like ‘the fuck? Really?’ How’d they even think of me, but that was a fucking blast.
Watch us both get impostor and get voted out before anybody dies because we don’t know what the fuck we’re doing. Sometimes you just gotta remember that the people listening don’t mind, and are just happy that you’re up there singing your heart out. Holy shit yeah that must’ve been like a dream come true. I remember when I met Meryl Streep at an awards ceremony, and she basically adopted me and introduced me to like... everybody I’ve ever loved that was there that night? And I was just like “??? How is this real and happening??”

Yes. I know what you mean. Oh, it is hard doing that. But the writers always do a great job of making sure it works.
Not always. Sometimes that kind of adaptation totally falls flat, because the story or the performances just don’t work on screen, and haven’t been tweaked right to make it work better, you know? But that movie... got it right.

Nah, going out to watch movies just limits what you can watch. Unless you’ve got loads of indie cinemas near you.

That’s what I’m saying, my parents raised me in one of the craziest cities on the planet, but most people wouldn’t do that if they had the choice to go somewhere more chill. I kinda admire that.

I do prefer Miami. I mean, I moved to Ohio with my ex husband when our son was little because we wanted to bring him up somewhere quieter. But after we got divorced, I wanted to go back home.
Yeah, I get that. Some cities, you don’t really picture raising a family in, however much you love it. Like I’ve lived in Manhattan all my life, but would I settle down and have a family there? I mean... probably, but I’d at least consider somewhere quieter like West Chester first.

That may be, but that’s the beauty of watching stuff at home. Some of the best movies haven’t been shown in movie theaters for decades, dude.

Oh yeah, a crazy amount, at this point. In plenty of different countries and languages, too! It’s amazing how much we all love Sherlock Holmes. Yeah, it’s always hard adapting a play for a movie, especially one like that, but you guys all gave such strong performances.
