Fable watched Teddy sit on his knees in front of her and even with his arms around her felt the need to be closer. Moving into his lap she gripped his shoulders as she bit her lip to try to keep it from trembling. “Theodore, please, can we g-go home now. I-I can’t be here anymore. I know w-we both are growing tired of being here.” She spoke quietly so Violet wouldn’t hear them. “We can just pack u-up and leave now.” She said serious as she sniffled. 

Theodore sat himself on the floor as his girlfriend moved into his lap instead. His hand moved over her back gently as she said that she wanted to leave the school and head home back to Brooklyn. Theodore had been thinking about leaving a lot lately, so to confirm that Fable was thinking about  it too make him make his decision. “If you want to leave soon, we can start applying and looking for schools. I’m absolutely fine with going. I’m only here for you at this point.”

Fable bit her bottom lip as she thought and shrugged. “I put up with the pain she brung, when she was just part of a thorn that dug in and didn’t stop until I bled. I know now she never gave a fuck about me. No matter how many times she tried to say she did care, the only one she cared about was herself.” Laughing slightly she smiled softly. “It’s all okay though, I made a poor choice in a friend.” She commented as she listened to him about the posters on the back of his door. “Young you and the girl crushes. I love this.” She spoke as she followed him and pushed him onto the mattress straddling his lap. “Test it out, hm? Theodore Lopez your mother is downstairs.” She teased back as she trailed her hands under his shirt before pressing her lips to his. “How quiet do you think you can manage to keep me?” She asked breaking the kiss.  

“I was close with her for ages but how she turned everyone against you was completely fucked up. If you noticed I started treating her a little different near the end. I can’t stand people playing victim. If you had spoken to you when you asked, it wouldn’t have got to the massive deal it ended up in.”  Theodore scrunched his face up cutely at Fable as she teased him about his crushes growing up. He made a small sound as she pushed him back on the mattress, and found his girlfriend’s hips with his hands almost automatically. “If I’m kissing you throughout everything, I’m pretty sure I can keep you quiet.” He answered back against her lips. “But only if your comfortable with it.”

Fable listened to his words as she nodded her head in agreement. It broke her heart, all of it did. Looking down at her hands she bit her lip. Truly she knew she was the one that was to blame. It all saddened her. “I deserved it. I know what I did was wrong and it was warranted.” She said softly before she her him speak to his mom. Feeling her hand grabbed she waved to his mom being led off. “Our new room. After all this time we get to finally share one.” She commented with a small laugh. Looking around but watching him cover up something she giggled softly. “Is that Megan Fox or someone else?” She asked teasing him. “I have Jensen all over my walls at home, you have nothing to hide.” She spoke in a gentle tone as she leaned in to him. “You can now fuck me in front of all your celebrity female crushes to prove how much prettier I am then them.” She whispered in his ear with a teasing tone before pulling away to spin around the space. 

Theodore didn’t like when people played victim for attention. Fable and her old best friends had been good friends for months, and when she wasn’t getting the attention she wanted, her ex friend played victim in a fight that happened between two people, roping them to take sides. Teddy thought it was a little disgusting, making people pick sides. “I don’t blame you. If someone wasn’t hearing me out, I would have wanted them to listen. Fuck her. You don’t even need to think about her.” He shrugged Theodore chuckled and nodded his head. “It’s Megan Fox and Margot Robbie, actually,” he said, pointing them out. “But don’t mind them. I was younger when I put them up,” he smirked.  Teddy watched as the brunette spun around in front of him, bringing her over to the bed with him. “Test how comfortable it is,” he teased.

Fable was sobbing as her breathing was shallow. Fisting Teddy’s shirts she held onto him tight before she was sat down. “S-Someone pushed me off my bed. I-I was sl-sleeping fine. No nightmares of Cecilya or anything.” She muttered out as she felt him thumb away her tears. “I-I don’t know, but s-someone was there I felt them.” She whispered quietly. “Sh-she admitted to wanting to h-hurt me, I don’t know.” 

Theodore wrapped his arms around his girlfriend, trying to calm her down. He hated seeing her upset. It broke his heart. He sat on his knees in front of her, brushing her hair out the way of her face. “Oh babe,” he frowned, shaking his head. “I’m here. Nothing’s gone to hurt you again,” he promised. “I won’t let them.”

Fable looked at him as she thought about it all. “Well I reckon we will not be having to actually live on campus with us being from Brooklyn and all. This all means that you and I have time to find a place of our own between here and school before the new semester rolls into play and we attend classes.” Hugging both him and his mom she pulled away and looked at them both as she stated the small facts. “I wouldn’t let them separate us. That’s why I applied places I knew that would take us both. We come together, not apart.” She spoke in reply with a smile. “Fresh start. New beginnings for the both of us.” 

“We needed this new beginning. I couldn’t handle everything going on in London. People were playing victim and it wasn’t on,” teddy remarked, believing those words. “You both got into a fight, and everyone sided with her. She slapped you up the face. I know more went on, but she physically assaulted you and didn’t have anyone saying shit to her. It disgusted me.” Teddy didn’t mind the girl Fable got in a fight with, but he was never going to side with her over his girlfriend, and that girl held that over his head. “Mom. I’m going to show Fable my old room, okay?” He said, watching her nod. Teddy took hold of Fable’s hand, leading her to his old bedroom. “This room will be a lot more clean than my rooms in the hotels,” he chuckled. Opening the door up to show his old best friend. It was pretty basic. He had records on his wall, and pictures of celebrity women hanging on the back of his door which he tried to cover up. “Ignore that,” he laughed.

Fable looked at him with a haunted look in her eyes as she was pulled into his room. Who was it? Angelo, Chasity, the two that terrified her, or was it someone else entirely. She was shaking as her breathing ragged. “Teddy w-we need to go h-home. T-Take us home.” Her breath came out in gasps as the panic coursed through her and she began to cry. “I-I want to g-go home.” She managed to say through the sobs that heaved through her body as the terror of what just happened and the last months washed over. “Pl-please.” 

Teddy pulled his girlfriend into his chest, noticing her panic. She was almost having a panic attack over everything going on. “Baby you need to tell me what’s going on,” he admitted, bringing her over to his bed. He didn’t care of Violet was in the room at the moment or not, his girlfriend was frantic and he needed to work out what was happening. He sat her down on the edge of the bed. His thumbs rubbing at her tears. “Whose after? Someone here?” He asked.

Fable laughed lightly as she gauged his reaction and felt herself being spun. “Yes babe, we did it, together, you and I.” Looking at miss Lopez she waited for her to be put down and hugged his mom. “Mama Lopez I will not disappoint you and will promise that the both of us will get through school together.” She spoke with a nod as she then held out her hand to pull Teddy into the shared hug. 

Theodore was excited to continue his journey with his girlfriend. The two of them were doing well in school, and he wasn’t going to let anyone ruin that opportunity for the two of them. It was only right that the two of them escaped the school that made them feel trapped and went somewhere fresh and new together. “I’m even more excited to go now that Fabes is going too,” he admitted, feeling himself being pulled into a hug with his mom and fable. He hugged them both tightly. “We’re really doing this babe!” He grinned widely. “Fresh start!”

Fable watched Teddy as she looked at him and then at his mom, seeing the happiness in his expression as he told both his mom and her that he was accepted into the school he wanted to go to. Looking down at her own letter she saw she was accepted and faked a frown as she looked at him holding the letter to his mom. “Teddy I’m sorry my bear.” She whispered as she took his hand. “Looks like you’ll be stuck with me a lot longer.” She replied as she look into his eyes. 

Theodore chewed on his bottom lip anticipating if Fable had got into the same university or not. His heart dropped as Fable began as if she didn’t get in, before his smile turned wide as she told him that he was stuck with her. Theodore rushed over to his girlfriend and scooped her up into his arms, spinning the two of them around. “We did it!” He cheered, watching his mum clap the two of them, her hand over her heart as she watched her son’s reaction. “I’m proud of you babe!”

Looking at Teddy she took his hand in hers clutching it tightly. “Do you think I would send in any applications that weren’t involved in us being at the same place?” She asked. “All four of our letters come from the same place. I wouldn’t want us separated.” She replied with a smile. “The same place you did.” She spoke with a light blush on her face as she leaned into him. “Were you accepted?” She asked looking up at him as she looked down at her paper. 

Teddy opened up his first envelope feeling his heart pound against his chest. His mother was watching the two of them open their envelopes and it made him feel slightly more nervous about it all, knowing she wanted him to finish his degree. The brunette flashed a smile at both of the women in the room and nodded his head. “I am! Are you?” He asked, now hopeful that Fable had been accepted into the same one. If anything, this university was his top choice.

Fable looked over at Teddy as she pulled away from the hug with a smile on a her face. Laughing slightly as she squeezed his hand in return. “One second Theodore. Miss Lopez, I would like to share something with you and Teddy first.” Looking at Teddy she led him to follow his mom after grabbing the eight envelopes from her bag. Getting to the kitchen she handed him four. “Colleges I pre applied for before we left interchange for the fall semester.” She spoke with a nod. “Wanted to wait until we were home and with your mom to share this moment. I’m not going to let you not finish your degree.” She whispered as she tore open the first one. 

Theodore did want to continue his degree, but the thought of Fable and him going through it all at interchange make him uncomfortable. He wanted to be somewhere with less drama, or where things weren’t held over your head every second. Everyone else could make mistakes bar them two apparently. “We better have got into the same one,” he admitted, opening his first before looking at Fable. “Where you hoping to get accepted into?” He asked. If the two were both in Brooklyn, they could still date and attend, but ti would have been nice getting into the same place.

Fable was sleeping peacefully finally without a night terrors the last few nights. Waking up as she felt her bed rocking as she as paled. It was a dream, she was sure of it until she was tossed from it when her bed tipped. Feeling her thump as she landed on her ass she looked around in the dark as she felt her breathing go shallow and the panic shoot through her. “St-stay away from me.” She managed to get out rushing to her feet in the black lace crop and short night set, as she ran tripping and stumbling out her room door and down the hall to Teddy’s. Banging on the door she screamed in gasping breaths. “Let me in, let me in. Th-Theodore Lopez.” Watching it open she looked at him in terror.  

Theodore didn’t have a clue what was going on, he was half asleep but his girlfriend looked panicked and scared. He ushered her into the room, and closed the door behind the two of them. “What’s the matter?” He asked, looking into her eyes. His hand finding her waist since she had been screaming at him to let her into his room. “Whose after you?” He asked.

Fable laughed at the thought of it all. “She would have.” She said with a nod as she leaned into him. Hearing his mom and watching the scene unfold she couldn’t help but smile and feel the small ache of wishing her parents were the same way. “Hi there.” Fable laughed and her hugged back as she teared up a little at the warm welcome after the last month of feeling like she was outcasted along with Teddy. “It’s so nice to finally meet you.” She spoke as she looked back at Teddy. “I can’t tell you have long I have been awaiting the day this moment occurred.” 

Teddy watched as his mother interacted with his girlfriend and couldn’t help but love the sight he was seeing. The brunette loved seeing his two favourite girl’s hugging each other and showing each other some type of affection and love towards one another. Teddy rubbed his girlfriend’s back, watching as his mum smiled widely at the two of them.  “I’ve been waiting for it for the longest time. I couldn’t want to bring my two favourite girls together,” he grinned, taking hold of Fable’s hand. “I’m going to show Fable my old bedroom, that alright mum?” He asked, who nodded, heading towards the kitchen.

“I think it’s a little cute. It’s probably a good thing she wasn’t in Russia or England with us when everyone seemed to be against us. I wouldn’t like to see your mother mad, but I couldn’t never see any parent being okay with their child feeling misplace, well, besides my own.” She shrugged softly and pecked his lips. “I’ll take all the hugs she’ll offer.” Looking at him as they pulled up to his family home she bit her lip. “Only when we are alone.” She whispered getting out tugging him with her. “He is. Trust me. Not worth meeting babe.” She spoke as she grabbed her bags to follow him inside the house. 

“My mom would have made sure everyone got a piece of her mind,” The brunette-haired boy admitted as a small laugh escaped through his parted lips. Theodore had a personality like his mom’s. She was a chill person until someone crossed her, and that’s when they should be intimidated.  Teddy knocked on the door, before trying the handle, letting the two of them in. He jumped as he heard his mom scream. “My baby!” and wrap her arms around him before turning to Fable. “His baby!” She greeted, making Teddy laugh as she went to give Fable a big, warm hug.

Fable smiled it was nice to know that Teddy was as close to his mom as he was. She wished she had that way to her parents. “I know she knows. I keep my instagram fairly updated. The biggest Fable and Teddy shipper there is without even knowing me.” Pulling up her instagram she showed him the likes on her pictures of them from his mom as she blushed. “Not too soft, just had my life planned out. Wanted me to be like my mom and marry someone in the business. I had other plans, I do want I want, love who my heart desires. He not happy, my mom tried to be, but she can’t disrespect my father.” She whispered. 

Theodore knew that his mother was a little full on and cringy, but he knew that his mother cared about him deep down, and simply wanted to make sure her boy was happy and was doing as he was told. He felt his cheeks heat up as Fable mentioned how much of a shipper his mother was. “It’s a little cringe, isn’t it? I promise she isn’t like that around you. She’s welcome you with open arms, but she’ll give us space too.” Teddy pursed his lips as Fable talked about her dad. “He sounds like a right dickhead, no offence,” he commented. “I hate people thinking old fashion like that.”

“I wouldn’t have minded meeting her, I think I accepted her on facebook and talked to her on messenger that way. She just checks in on school and us.” Fable replied with a soft smile. “I get that, I wouldn’t want you meeting my family. Not pleasant.” She sighed softly. “I wish they were more accepting.” She said with a sad smile. “Not with your mom home.” She whispered as she poked his chest. “Babe.” She looked at him swatting his arm. “Is she going to want to meet me knowing that we are dating?” She asked biting her lip.

Teddy knew his mum could be a lot to handle. He had to message her a few times a week because she wanted to know how he was getting on. Many people would call him a ‘mommas boy’ but he liked having a close relationship with his mother. She didn’t have anyone else apart from her friends as he was an only child, and wanted to see how she was getting on while the two of them were away from one another. “My mom knows we’re together. I’ve talked about you to her loads,” he admitted. “She’s looking forward to it.” The brunette knew that Fable’s relationship with her parents were different, and understood that. “Your dad not going to be a fan of me or something? Am I too soft for his liking?” He teased.

Fable looked at her boyfriend and smiled as she took squeezed it. “We are home.” She whispered as the taxi driver got out to load their bags in the back of the cab. She felt like she could breath again. Listening to him she nodded. “That puts me at ease. I can’t wait to meet her. I wish it was under better circumstances, but I am happy none the less.” She said with a small smile. “I think she should join us when we open the things I received back in London. It’s something I believe should be shared with her.” She spoke as she opened the door to get in the back of the taxi. “I love you, today, everyday, always. Just no sex in your childhood home.” She replied with a small laugh. “Is that so Mr. Lopez?” She asked as she looked over at him in awe.

“She’s wanted to meet you for the longest time. She always asks me to show your face when I’m face-timing her, but I didn’t want you two meeting like that. I wanted the two of them meeting face to face first. I thought it would be more comfortable.” Theodore looked at his girlfriend, before climbing into the backseat of the car, ducking his head as he shuffled along the seats. “What do you mean no sex in my childhood home?” He commented. “She knows I’m not a virgin, it’s fine,” he smirked. “She always thought I was going to end up with my best friend around here, maybe I’ll introduce the two of you, but just be warned, she can get a little jealous.”
