I’m FINALLY actually happy with this design for the zero suit

The actual zero suit part that connects to the power suit is the wire like material, and she can wear normal clothing under it to some extent. The back pattern is also part of the chozo body markings in my interpretation :D

Creature illustrations used by the original Metroid and first two Zelda games are clearly all by the same artist and their work is so gorgeous, such a huge lifelong inspiration to me, but I don’t even know their name :(
