Please help me go into remission from Type II diabetes

Hello everyone, I am so sorry to remake this post, but I am very scared. I am experiencing embarassing and vulnerable symptoms- my type II diabetes is becoming progressive, and I am desperate to go into remission. It has affected my liver and my heart, and neuropathy has made me partially incontinent. On April I was hospitalized twice. I have no thyroid, and without medication, it will put me into a myxedema coma and will kill me within days. Hypothyroidism and type II diabetes is making it very difficult for me to find work, as I am from the global south (the Philippines), with government aid only covering 20,000 pesos (around 326 usd) a year. I am the only person in my family who can work; my mother is paralyzed from a brain injury, and my sister is autistic with a very low frustration threshold. I need help covering for my new medication, as I now take metformin twice a day, and phosphates to help with my liver and kidneys, and b complex to help bolster my immune system. Im sorry I keep remaking this post, I am alone and desperate. Community is all I have. Thank you so much for your endless grace and compassion.

How do you get good at drawing so many different types of animals?

okay, unironically, my oddly specific tip is get good at drawing LEGS. I don't mean paws or whatever, I mean study and understand what digitigrade, plantigrade, unguligrade (hooved) legs look like. this is not the entire battle, but it's a good chunk of it!

people tend to start drawing animals from the head first and get lost in the sauce of 'how do I make this animal's face look right' and I want to tell you that's wrong. you draw an animal starting from the SHOULDERS. it's only when you fundamentally understand how legs look at all different angles that you can start playing with funky poses.

the other thing that comes with practice is just to get good at decomposing animals into shapes. wings aren't HARD, they're just shapes. get good at shapes! knowing when to use curves vs straight lines, how to describe the 3D-ness of something using very efficient lines, that's what you need to learn. you can see personality and motion in all the horses above!

and I'll say it again, you should practice tracing over photographs of real animals, then get rid of the photograph and redo your lines until it looks 'right' to your eyes. drawing any animal competently isn't about ACCURATELY FOLLOWING every single curve and crevice, it's about getting the shapes right. this is also where a lot of people get lost. you can trace directly over photographs of a tiger, wolf, lion, whatever, and in the end they might all look like the same blob because you didn't stylize it correctly.

If it was possible, would you want to have peafowl with the laced feathers like some chickens have? Like the neck feathers especially

They have lacing on their necks already

There are some Spaldings that show scaling on their necks that is actually a fine black lacing

And those green saddle feathers on his back there? Those are all laced in black. That's how they look like scales instead of a wash of dotted green. Same for the wing feathers, they have matte black limning the edges.

I wouldn't really be interested in peafowl in chicken patterns, mostly because I own peafowl to own peafowl. If I wanted chicken patterns, I'd get chickens again.
