Love Cloud wished it were Kuru Kuru Harajuku
The way NSwY (2016) could have fitted great on Plasma with some v1.1 plasmafication….

Queens of making a singles compilation. No, but Fr the 4 new tracks are better worth it and especially PLASMA not being a 1:30 opener but rather be an Enter the Sphere. Lets hope it’s worth the wait, PWEP was great, so high standards.
Danny L Harle & DJ Danny - Take My Heart Away (Yasutaka Nakata Remix)
Nostalgic ystk remix vibes
Perfume announced a new song titled “さよならプラスティックワールド (Sayonara Plastic World, Goodbye Plastic World)” to be broadcasted on Minna no Uta (NHK) from April to May. A themed song described as "How to Live True to Yourself in a Society Overflowing with Information.
The name is so iconic tho, gives me 2009 Aira Mitsuki vibes.
Perfume - Flow (Radio ver.)
It’s giving lost Future Pop remnants X Nax5iro
You know what I do miss tho, the use of the auto tuned vocal harmonies the past few years (it has returned in the intro of Saisei tho after all that time) but I hope Nakata will make more songs with the Harmony Engine
I manifested this
CAPSULE - テレポテーション (2021 Remaster) [Visualizer]
Wow, this one sounds so much more balanced and crisp. Love it
Perfume Live 2021 “Mirror Ball” Ending Song
FRAPBOIS S/S 2008 feat. music by Yasutaka Nakata
Still to this day, one of his best full instrumental songs

YSTK This is a list of Yasutaka Nakata samples that I have been able to identify over the past year. Message me on twitter @djyoshimus or request access if you have any criticism/suggestions or want to edit the list. The sources of these samples mainly came from Vengeance Sample Packs. He also ...
So djyoshimus started a list of samples Nakata has used throughout the years~ You can check it out at the link above.
Today on random Perfume / Nakata related things you never knew you never knew: Computer City and Electro World are both detuned by 50 cents. I have absolutely no idea why.
In the audio examples, the first version is the untouched song with a melody played on a synth tuned 50 cents upwards of normal pitch, the second is with the synthesizer playing at standard pitch along with the untouched song. You can very clearly hear the detune and it’s a bit bizarre.
Isn’t it perhaps because the master got stretched out to fit another BPM and thus the tune got a bit detuned? (Idk tho, but the BPMs of CC and EW weren’t perfect round numbers so maybe that’s why?)
That Polygon Wave Remix is wow … no.
It’s okay when I’m working out in the gym, but it doesn’t sound like a real Nakata remix tbh and I wished it had a bit more edge or something, but I usually skip it when it comes up
The way Perfume could’ve served with a good song, futuristic lyrics, edgy polygons, great choreography and those outfits in the car, and all they gave us was…. Next Stage with You 2.0 for a Tesla car and the same outfits with no progression in the video….
