Most nights were usually the same if you didn't count the people who happened to be around on different days, which made everything almost boring. Yet the rain usually brought some excitement to things.
And there he was, making his way around the dark streets, staying mostly out of sight - as much as Wade liked to have his women all wet for him, he didn't like to get soaked by himself. At least the buildings gave him a bit of shelter.
Of course Wade had a reason to be outside - he actually had a job to do. A boring one, but still something that could give him enough cash to do something out of ordinary. He could make a house out of tacos and claim to be the taco king. Or something like that. He wasn't really thinking clearly.
And finally he had gotten himself up on a rooftop, getting soaked in a matter of seconds. Well, he had forgotten to take a shower. For a week. Maybe not that long, though.
At least he could see well from there. He wasn't really where he should have been, and he didn't care about that right then. Wade just decided to look around, to see if something was happening, though he knew that most bad guys probably enjoyed breaking the law with a dry pair of undies. What a boring night.
But then he spotted something that made him a bit more curious than usual. Was that someone trying to climb a wall? It reminded Wade of a certain spider who did that thing a lot, too, but then again, Spidey was faster than this thing anyway.
He settled down, humming quietly as he came up with a plan. The guy was climbing the wall of the building almost in front of him, and since Wade was on a job to off someone, he had prepared with all kinds of things (though he still wasn't sure what he was going to do with the rubber duck he had found from his pockets) and as the rain went on, Wade had grabbed his sniper rifle, ready to play with this weirdo.
He waited, he aimed, and then he frowned since there was someone else there, too. Someone familiar. Spidey.
Deciding that it would be fun to scare the shit out of both of them, he aimed again, shooting at the window close to both of them, hoping that at least one of them would just fall off.
You only score when you hit their heads.
[ Or when you make them fall on the ground and hear that neck cracking. ]
