Gunnhild's death is still one of the biggest disappointments I have with Vikings. She was a Valkyrie and deserved a powerful death on the battlefield fighting beside Björn; for the future of their faith and their people.

I would've loved to see her be THE queen of Kattegat, the one who keeps Bjorn and the OG character's memories alive as well as their faith going into an unknown future. For me, Ingrid wasn't a character I didn't care about, nor felt like there any reason for her to be apart of the show. If a woman was going to rule Kattegat by the end of the show, it should've been Gunnhild. Gunnhild deserved to have a healthy child and a happy future. After all, she was the "Mother of Kings."

Author’s Notes | When I first wrote “Hey Daddy” for you, I remember I did the best I could to create the sweetest environment and the cutest scenes with Hvitserk and the child of that fiction, trying as much as I could to avoid the Reader showing any kind of love involvement with Hvitserk exactly because I wanted that to be a paternal/parental fiction as you asked me to. I even included a love relationship for him with Thora, a child to come, a great friendship… I wanted to portray the most familiar scene I could.

And I did it all because I remember I felt your sadness with his deployment. I felt the weight of your heart and I wanted with all my soul to soothe your pain.

Then he comes and ruins it. Then he comes and steps over it.

I feel like someone who cared so much for a flower just to see a bastard running over it with a car. And this fiction is the reflection of what I wanted to do with your bastard of a husband for what he did to my precious flower.

However, even crushed, it is still my flower. Even hurt, it is still my flower. And I know it’s strong enough to grow back. I know you are strong enough to surpass this, love. First of all, I need to say that my cousin is in similar situation. She is married for 26 years, she and her husband have two daughters (25 and 20 years old) and she found out, that her husband started cheating at her 2 years ago and he impregnated the other woman!!! 😡 He has a 1 year old daughter with her...

But unfortunatelly she didn’t have a good friends like Hvitserk, Sigurd or Ivar. She is not strong enough to kick his sorry ass. Her huband is living with his new family, but he still comes “home” to her, talking to her like if nothing happened, having a cup of coffee with her, visiting her parents with her and for some sick reason she still loves him and waits for him to realize that he wants to come back and leave his new woman 😔 It’s fucked up situation and there is nothing we can do about it, because she is saying that it’s her life and her decision... which is true, but it still doesn’t feel right...

You did a marvelous job as always, babe @lisinfleur ♥  What a bastard, cheating on his wife and bragging about it in pub like if it’s something great! Telling about it to her bestfriend, what an idiot!! He truly got what he deserved!! Hvitserk should have chop his dick off!!!!
