Pen Show Haul! I love each and every one of them.
Pen show haul. Bison leather notebook and adorable Pilot pen
Two Double-Jeweled Esterbrook Js. Mesmerizing.
My Penbbs collection. Hand turned acrylic in very pretty colors. Decent writers too!
Midori Traveler’s notebooks. Found used on eBay for way less than if I had got them new. They are quite convenient. I particularly love the fact that I can refill them with a variety of fountain-pen-friendly paper types.
Brown ebonite Himalaya from Fountain Pen Revolution. Inked with Diamine Apple Glory on Clairefontaine paper. Ebonite is a satisfying material to touch so it is wonderful in pens. The nib is decently smooth.
Noodler’s Ahab with Semi-flex nib and Diamine Apple Glory ink. The nib takes some getting used to but the pen is solid and easily dissassembled for cleaning/tuning/customizing.
My last inked demonstrator for today: a Sailor Procolor 500 Shikisai Pen in Uchimizu (Sprinkling Water). This pen is both really pretty and, surprisingly, an awesome writer. I particularly love sketching with this pen. It’s inked with Sailor Jentle in Black.
When you have three demonstrator pens inked today. Out of seven pens total.
Clear Demonstrator Nemosine Singularity with 0.6 mm Nib. I love Nemosine. This pen is made of some kind of incredibly sturdy and smooth plastic that feels wonderful in the hand. The nib is super smooth. Both Nemosine nibs I have are ridiculously smooth for the price. Also, this company uses a science theme for each pen! Seen here with Monteverse Scotch Brown ink. Edit: I may have to reevaluate my views. The top of this pen's cap has developed several cracks with no apparent cause. Also, the nib has become harder to work with over time which is quite frustrating.
Stylomine 303 repaired with a Noodler’s Ahab feed and a Nemosine 0.8mm reentry nib.
Moonman M2: A great pen for the price. And super pretty too! Seen here filled with Diamine Ancient Copper.
