QUEEN LEAH   ›   PERMANENT INTEREST CALL.          this is a an interest call for queen leah of sleeping beauty and descendants by disney. she is the queen consort of king stefan, the mother of princess aurora, and eventually grandmother of audrey. my portrayal is largely original animated film and descendants based, doesn’t take into account maleficent  ( as i haven’t seen it ), and adds in some original story and very heavy headcanon influence.

CARLOS ‘COUGAR’ ALVAREZ   ›   PERMANENT INTEREST CALL.          this is a an interest call for carlos alvarez aka cougar of the losers by detective comics. he was a sniper employed by the u.s. army before his team was framed and ended up faking their deaths. my portrayal is film based, with selected comic and original script influences.

ooc.   so a few things. i had a very bad mental health week, and it’s not entirely gone away yet---but it’s going to the right direction now. i also found out that the psd i was using here doesn’t work on east-asian skintones  ( and it’s not just about colouring, as i’d hoped ), so i'm changing the psd to the one i use on my other multimuse until i find or make one that does. i hate that this blog has gotten such a rocky start, but c’est la vie.

PORTRAYAL KEY POINTS, RE: PANSY.

first of all, yes, parreira and not parkinson. it’s her family name that was anglicised for two short generations for the convenience of living in england, but due to constant back and forth between brazil and united kingdom that her family does, it did not stay that way for long.

despite the fascination towards them during year six, pansy never took the dark mark---less for moral reasons, and more out of how terrified of the dark lord she was, enough so that any punishment for not having the mark was preferable to the idea of being tied to him for life. her mothers knew this, and agreed to an extent, and thus made a conscious effort during the war to make their daughter seem as irrelevant of a piece on the board so that should voldemort win the war, they  ( or at least, she )  might still be able to fall through the cracks.

bully made, not born. her biological mother, due to her own ongoing battle with a mutually abusive marriage-then-divorce, rewarded pansy for showing toxic behaviour much more than she did for anything good she did until pansy was way into her teens. that added to a childhood spent largely in isolation until hogwarts and thus the lack of understanding the effect her ‘standing up to herself, striking before they strike first’ has on others, and a bully was born

aside from the occasional day trip during holidays, doesn’t really see her mothers during her teenage years, and lives in their u.k. home mostly alone with her dog.

lesbian. for the above reasons, does not realise it despite having two mothers until young adulthood. repeatedly dated draco because he ticked the most boxes off a mental wishlist for a partner, was always more intimate and affectionate with him when they were not, in fact, dating---and always the most desirable when he seemed the most unattainable. spent a lot of time wondering why the fuck they never worked, until one day a lightbulb in the shape of two interlocked female symbols went off.

“moves into” the muggle world for some years after the war, only visiting wizarding establishments to socialise and once every few months. there are a few years where none of her slytherin friends has any idea where the fuck she is and what she’s doing.
