* biography: Ivy was born in Manhattan,New York, they city who never sleeps. Since the very beginning she had a tough family life. A mother who usually wasn’t home or always had a new men in her life, she never knew her father, in fact, she only knew him by his nickname”selfish idiot”. Yes, her childhood wasn’t happy but she grew up to become a very interesting and open minded girl. Since she was little she loved mysteries, gossip, thriller and drama movies. Growing up basically by herself she always got herself in pretty interesting situations…as a teen she always got busted for breaking and entering, she used to steal and get into fights with other girls and even guys. Ivy wasn’t an easy child for sure but as she grew older she knew she can’t go on like that and as soon as she graduated she left her mother’s house, got her own place and enrolled in school. At first she picked Criminology at the New York university. After graduating with a master’s degree she decided to become a PI and got her license shortly after. On her first big case there was a man named Eric who suspected his wife was cheating so Ivy got right into it and proved him right. As the time passed in the investigation the two grew closer and as soon as Eric divorced the two started dating. It didn’t take long for them to get married, in fact, it only took a couple of months since Ivy got pregnant accidentally. The two welcomed a healthy baby boy and they named him Dean. Being a mother and owning a business was though but the two managed through. As the years passed the marriage started to feel like something you’re used to rather than this crazy love the two felt for one another at the start and ironically two years ago Ivy found out that Eric decided to cheat and get some other woman pregnant. The two got divorced last year and Ivy was a wreck she started drinking more and hanging with the wrong crowds like she used to when she was younger. The reason she left New York was because of a very sketchy case she was working on that got her into a lot of trouble with a dangerous man. She packed everything she owned, took her son and moved to a remote town called kismet harbor who knows what will the future bring?

He smiled a moment. "I try to be. I think greeting someone like, 'Who are you? Get out!' is pretty rude," he joked with a laugh. He would never be rude to people if he could help it. He was the type who saw the good in most people.

"Kenneth, but you can call me Keith or Kenny. Dr. Keith, whatever you like," he smiled as he didn't mind what people called him. "But nice to meet you, Ivy," he nodded. "What are your plans for here? Skeptically, Geri nodded her head in agreement. Knowing that she had her own secrets to keep made it that much easier to stay out of anyone else's. "Consider it forgotten," she said, turning away to gaze out over the people in the park. "You should be more careful next time."

Ivy let out a small laugh, she didn't mind deleting that photo but don't tell her what to do, "You shouldn't tell people what to do I deleted the photo why are we continuing this conversation?" She said sounding bitchy, "Shit, I am being an asshole, I am sorry," She said as she really did try to let her old ways go and become a more decent person.

Teagan had been engrossed in a phone call as she walked the streets of Kismet Harbor, trying to acclimate herself to the city that would always have her heart. She hadn't been away long; just long enough to feel like she'd missed out on a lot in the time she'd been away and while this town used to hold so much happiness for her, the last few years hadn't been kind to her and that happiness had been overshadowed by dread that she couldn't seem to shake. But she was trying to make the best of it; it was the least she could do for herself now that she had made the decision to return. She'd not really been paying attention, instead trying to decide which place she should splurge on lunch from when she heard someone yelling, yet she hadn't realized they were talking to her until she were approached. Startling for a second, Teagan paused, eyes shifting towards the other. Something about the shade of her hair made Teagan smile - probably because it reminded her of her own - and she nodded. "Hello." she greeted, though, the urgency in the other's voice made her pause. "I -" she stopped, shaking her head. Ivy was never really close with her mom and she didn't really have her in her life so seeing someone who looked so much like her, "I-I..." Alec had been enjoying his coffee, he had finally taken a long break. The doctor did not want to eat in his office or deal with hospital food so he decided to head out. He had been walking through the streets, enjoying the lovely afternoon when he noticed her. Alec could not help but wonder if they were a photographer. So he watched until he noticed that she might actually be a PI and notice her being flustered. He walked toward her and stood in front of her. "Hey, I can help if you need. The smile on her lips slowly deepened as Sasha tilted her head, leaving golden tendrils rolling over her shoulder in soft waves. "Well, I didn't ask for the whole story." Her voice rolled softly around the blunt words as her fingers let the book snap shut when the couple stood from the bench to leave. "Besides, you already seem to be in a foul mood and I'd hate to make it worse." Not quite, though the small lie slipped from Sasha's lips with nonchalant confidence. For a split second, hazel eyes observed the lovebirds, before she let them settle back on the woman for a second at best. She struck Sasha as the type who hated making mistakes, a perfectionist, she assumed and she knew better than to judge that. Soon, her focus settled back on her book, closed on her lap, fingers tracing the cover absent-mindedly. Ivy had a very short temper, she didn't mean to be bitchy but it came very naturally for her. Ivy didn't have a lot of friends but she had one best friend and her name was Blake. The two became fast friends mostly because of their kids being the same age but she really loved that woman. If there was something Cael was good at, it was keeping people at a distance. There had only been handful of meaningful connections he'd made in this town -- aside from family that was. Ever since he was on his treatment, he hadn't gone out to the bar anymore. He hadn't completely stopped drinking, but tonight he at least braved the idea again, walking into the dark brown toned bar to take a seat at the bar area. He liked to be active, be outdoors, and do what he could. Yes, he had a garden at his home, but he liked to do something in town and be a part of a group. He enjoyed nature, plants, and flowers so he came to Budding Minds. He did this with his wife but she was off doing her own thing at work today. Again, Ivy wasn't huge on the whole outdoors thing but she was in a new town, she had to start fresh, right? Ivy was a huge flirt, even when she was married she used to flirt but never acted on it of couse. She knew she was beautiful and did use it from time to time, it helped her a lot especially in her line of work, "Praheps I do need something...can I join you for a drink? Say what you will, but at least it was quiet in Kismet Harbor. A part of her missed the chaos of the city, but it was nice to be able to sit with her own thoughts even if for a brief moment. Geri couldn't even remember how long she'd been scrolling on her phone without realizing that someone had been sneaking pictures of strangers at the park next to her. "Is this the part when you tell me that there's a perfectly logical explanation for this? Or, is this a run-while-I-still-can scenario?"

Ivy was good at her job, she wasn't one to get caught but today was different for some reason, "I don't need to tell you anything because I will delete this photo and we can forget about this while thing, okay?" She said as she showed the woman she was in fact, deleting the photo.

Taking some time out of his morning to go for a run, Knox was nearing the end of a few miles. Sweat was dripping off him and he'd long since tossed his shirt off. Coming to a slow down, he stopped to catch his breath when he leaned forward and caught the view of the camera Ivy was taking photos of. The fact that she was taking pictures of someone else didn't even occur to him as he popped back up with a grin. "Did you at least get my good side?" he called out.

The soft click of a camera's shutter caught her attention much earlier than the softly muttered curse did. Peeling hazel eyes from the book that rested in her lap, she peered over dark-rimmed sunglasses and studied the woman, instead of the lovebirds on a bench some distance away. She had crimson hair and an ethereal, old school Hollywood-type of beauty. "Don't worry," Sasha spoke, her voice's almost monotonous ring sitting softly in the breeze that carried the ocean's scent through the streets. "If they noticed you, they're doing one hell of a good job at pretending otherwise." The amusement that sat between each syllable spoken was palpable and she instantaneously knew that the woman was likely not used to feeling exposed like that. "Which one of them is the cheater?" Ivy usually was pretty good at being unnoticeable, but something happened today. She looked up and down at the other woman, almost feeling emberassed. "Sure, let me tell you the whole story...let's get a cup of coffee while we're at it?" She said cynically. The two lovebirds noticed her, got up, and vanished. "Fuck, now they're onto me." She said as she placed her hand against her face.

Ivy was new in town, and as much as she didn't really ever want to leave her office desk, it was late, and she could definitely use a glass of wine. As she was walking to the bar, she noticed someone...Someone she definitely recognised, it was Cael...really?? Was her mind playing tricks on her, or was it really him?? "Cael?" She asked as she approached him, shaking a bit. "Is it really you?"

A family reunion

Ivy just moved to town she knew a few people by now but being a single 45 year old with a 19 year old son wasn't exactly where she thought her life would be by now but what can you do, right? She loved her job and basically lived there. After a long day of work she was walking down the sterrt when she saw her...was it? No...it couldn't be her! "Hey!" She yelled out in anger. "Hey you!"
