Horror movies!

-Iwaizumi likes to watch horror movies and Kenma isn’t the biggest fan as he gets scared quite easily. Kenma does however put up with it for his boyfriend.  -Because of this Iwaizumi tries to watch them as little as often while Kenma is around (He puts Oikawa through them instead). But sometimes he just cannot wait for his best friend.  -They make sure to get bottled drinks so if Kenma jumps there is less of a chance he’ll knock things over and it spill everywhere. There have been times however when he is holding it and it goes over both of them.  -Popcorn is the ususal snack although Kenma isn’t allowed to hold it just in case.  -Iwaizumi ALWAYS holds onto Kenma when he isn’t eating or drink anything. Kenma always tries to be as strong as he can and not hide in his boyfriends arms but it ends up always being like that.  -Kenma only likes the night they watch them for two reasons. One he gets to be held by his boyfriend, two the pair always end up going out on a sweet date the next day which kenma adores.  -Iwaizumi doesn’t tell Kenma this but he himself does get scared with some of them but tries his best to keep it together for his boyfriend.  -This ends up getting spilled by Kuroo who told Kenma and after that Kenma teased his boyfriend about it every so often after the horror movie night.

I love to draw you

-College Au, Iwaizumi is a sport student and Kenma is a fine arts man! Kenma knows about the different sports groups within the college  because of his best friend Kuroo who sometimes drags him to games.

-Kenma thinks about a project he wants to do and decides to base it around sports because Kuroo knows people within the sports section at college. Easy to get subjects to draw AND he can probably spend time with his friend so it’s a win - win! - Kuroo asks some people on the volleyball team to model for Kenma in their uniform, even if it’s just him taking a photo to draw from. Kenma comes round during practice one day to see who is ok with it and the five people he find who do the same sport as his friend are: Kuroo, Oikawa, Iwaizumi, Bokuto and a small ball of sunshine Hinata.

-Right now Kenma just needed two people so chose Kuroo, his best friend and Iwaizumi. He was asked why pick Iwaizumi but the smaller teen doesn’t reply. The real reason is he thought the other looked beautiful and wanted a chance to see him more.

-He gets the drawings done and after that he stops by now after classes to sit and wait for Kuroo to come and walk back with him. Secretly he is doing it just to see Iwaizumi. He spends a lot of his time during his sketching in his note pad drawings of his new found crush. -Iwaizumi is 100% oblivious to this. No clue what so ever. Even when Kuroo points it out Iwaizumi just shakes his head and says. ‘A cute guy like that would never date me’. He just does not believe it.

-It takes Kuroo and Oikawa setting the pair up on a date. Saying they would be there and just don’t turn up. Iwaizumi asks about the others drawings, which his notebook is FILLED of Iwaizumi at the moment. In every way you can imagine.

-Iwaizumi finally believes what Kuroo said when he sees said drawings. Iwaizumi questions the artist about it but Kenma just goes bright red and refuses to answer.

-Iwaizumi saying he’d be happy to model for Kenma again if they got to spend more time with each other while on this date. Kuroo and oikawa are watching in the distance but seeing them exchange numbers fist bump because they want their friends to get a love life.

-Soon they start dating and Iwaizumi becomes the art students main source of inspiration! Many paintings and drawings soon turn up in Kenmas room of his boyfriend. Kuroo taking photos and showing Iwaizumi who is speechless at how amazing his boyfriend is. 

-Iwaizumi has a go at drawing Kenma and fails. Miserably. He gets upset because he ‘cannot capture Kenmas true beauty.’ Kenma doesn’t mind and hangs the bad drawing in his studio.

Disney date night!

-Kenma, Oikawa and Hinata all love Disney moves. So they take their other half and do a disney date night as a group. Popcorn, drinks and other snacks are bought by everyone.  -Couples are! Iwaizumi x Kenma Hinata x Kageyama Oikawa x Yamaguchi  -Kenma sits happily on Iwaizumis lap as they share a bowl of popcorn, Iwaizumi giving Kenma pecks on the cheek every now and again.  -Kenma will often feed Iwaizumi popcorn, offering it to him and putting it in his mouth when he opens it.  -Kageyama and Hinata are sat there talking quietly about silly theories they have read on the internet. 

-Yamaguchi butts in and tells them the original stories written by the Grimm brothers. This shocks both the boys and the three get in a quiet talk about it. -Oikawa keeps trying to get Yamaguchis attention but it fails because he is to busy talking. So he just wraps his arms around his boyfriend.  -Whenever they get overly loud Iwaizumi tells them to keep it down. The trio of Kageyama, Hinata and Yamaguchi quieten down while they watch the film. Oikawa on the other hand... makes a bit of a fuss.  -This ends up in Yamaguchi taking Oikawa to the side to give him a cuddle and making him feel better. 

-The night ends with them all falling asleep in the living room, Kenma asleep on Iwaizumis chest, Yamaguchi and Oikawa cuddling together in a one seater and Kageyama and Hinata are just spread out on the floor.

Pets!

--Iwaizumi would have a dog! One of those bigger breeds, maybe like a husky or something, i don’t know. It’s the biggest, friendly thing you will ever meet! -Kenma clearly has a cat. One which loves to sit on peoples laps cuddle all day long.  -Kenma isn’t great with dogs and gets scared when he first meets Iwaizumis dog. As time goes on Kenma gets more and more comfortable with the dog. 

-To the point where oneday Iwaizumi walks in to find Kenma and the dog sleeping on the sofa together. Iwaizumi now has a new background for his phone. 

-The cat LOVES Iwaizumi and always sits on his lap. Iwaizumi likes the cat as well and enjoys playing with the little fluff ball!  -When they move in Kenma was worried his cat and the dog wouldn't get along. Which turns out to not be a worry at all. The two get along like a house on fire! At one point the cat even rode on the back of the dog as it slept. Kenma finds it adorable and Iwaizumi finds it odd yet cute.  -One day the cat is sleeping on Iwaizumis lap, Iwaizumi never moves the cat. Never. So Kenma takes this chance to walk the dog, which Iwaizumi likes to do.  -Iwaizumi felt betrayed as he saw the photos on Kenmas snapchat of the two having fun on the walk. He then buys a cat leash and takes the cat for a walk. They get stuck in the park cause the cat fell asleep...

Matching jumpers!

So imagine this, WHAT IF Kuroo and Oikawa came together and bought the couple matching jumpers.No reason to, but they did. They have a HORRENDOUS pattern on them. 

-Kenma would LOVE it, the big fluffy jumpers he just loves to laze in all day. 

-Iwaizumi, not so much. He would much rather have a jacket than a jumper. But since Kenma likes it so much he wears it every now and again. 

-Kuroo and Oikawa would get some matching jumpers as well and make them get a photo of all four of them in the jumpers. Kenma has the smallest smile on his face as he is with people he cares for.  -Iwaizumi puts up with it, putting an arm around his boyfriend and smiling for the picture which is then put up in the front room. (Hinata LOVED it btw). 

- Eventually Iwaizumi tells Kenma about his dislike for the jumpers. Kenma agrees and the next day they go shopping for ones they both like. 

- They are plain, simple but still warm and fuzzy. So they could both cuddle up and do whatever in them happily. Kuroo and Oikawa are so heart broken when they see the pair in the new jumpers. 

- Kuroo and Oikawa are upset they got new ones but understand the pattern was not for everyone. (They then proceed to buy them hats instead).

They love to game together

-Also after hours of searching Kenma and Iwaizumi finally find a game type Iwa finally likes. Puzzle and strategic games. He loves the way some can make you think outside of the box and the difficulty some strategy games bring to the table. Eg fire emblem and the permanent death mode.

-Oikawa comes over whenever he can to bug the pair. Him and Kenma got along after a while (Oikawa bribed him with food) and the pair spend their day playing co-op games. Oikawa is the really loud type of gamer while Kenma just stays quiet. If Iwaizumi isn't doing something he'll join them and have Kenma sit on his lap.

-When they go to a gaming Con the thing Iwaizumi wants most of all is just to buy Kenma something he can use to remember this day. But Kenma just walks around and buys things without thinking.

- It ends up with Iwazumi dragging him away around lunch time and pretty much stressing the fact he wants to buy Kenma something. It ends up being either a figure or a custom body pillow of Iwaizumi.

-Kenma wanting to do a cosplay as a couple, but the problem being there are no gay couples within the games they play. So they end up just doing Link and Sidon. Kenma is Link and Iwaizumi is Sidon. It took quite a bit of convincing to get Iwaizumi to dress up like Sidon, he did demand they find a more clothed version however.

- Iwaizumi tries pokemon for the first time in a long time when Sun and Moon came out. He had to borrow Oikawa's DS for it. He spent half the time crying ‘What is that!?’ For pokemon he hadn’t seen before. Which was most of them. 

-Every so often Iwaizumi could just hear a small laugh from Kenma as he yelled about pokemon. “WHY IS A BAG OF RUBBISH A POKEMON!?” Iwaizumi gets very confused about it... 

-They play online games together, finding new ones to learn together. Iwaizumi turns out to be really good at PVP and seeing what works well together. Kenma enjoys listening to his reasoning for doing certain builds on certain characters. -Kenma likes to sit on Iwaizumis lap and play all kinds of games on his DS. Iwaizumi wraps his arms around the other as he does this, giving him a kiss on the cheek every so often and telling him when he does good. The kisses always surprise Kenma and make his cheeks go a little red.

-When Iwaizumi does well in a game Kenma always makes sure that he knows it. Although he doesn’t give kisses as often once they finish their gaming sessions together he will always tell him how well he does while hugging him!

-When Iwaizumi is sick Kenma gets him to cuddle on the sofa and rest while Iwaizumi watches him play games. He says he likes to watch Kenma be happy and it just relaxes him. There have been a number of times he has fallen asleep while doing this.

Another Iwaizumi x Kenma. The first time Kenma stays over Oikawa is just there asking all kinds of embarrassing questions, How far they've gone, have they kissed etc. When Hajime stays over Kuro just smiles and says if he hurts Kenma he'll be next while shaking his hand.

Ahhhhhh, I can totally see that toooooo. 

Imagine, also, that Kenma proposes that they set up Kuroo and Oikawa so they have something better to do than be a third wheel. Iwa hesitates because Kuroo is a lot scarier than he looks, but they do the thing and enjoy a lot of uninterrupted cuddling while Kuroo and Oikawa have a four hour knock-down-drag-out about whether Star Wars or Star Trek is better (Oikawa is a SW stan and Kuroo loves Trek).

Mission accomplished, and now it’s time for some Netflix and actual chill.

Sorry guys

So I am super sorry for the lack of activity on this blog. My health has not been that great and my mind has been a bit fuzzy so I’ve not been able to think of much to put up.  IF YOU WANT! You can help keep the blog somewhat active while I get over this and you can send in your own head canon/headcanon ideas. If it is a head canon try to keep it iwaken related please <3 Or even ask me questions I’m more than willing to answer them.

The last letter...

-Iwaizumi and Kenma are happily married, but when a war starts Iwaizumi is drafted and has to leave. Of course Kenma doesn’t like this but they promise to keep in contact with each other via letters. 

-Months go by and the pair send letters to one another. Kenma tells Iwaizumi about what him and Hinata have been up to while the war has been on, sending him photos of them together and even a few of their lovely dog! -Iwaizumi mentions people he has met while there. Some nice people called Kuroo and Bokuto. When they aren’t fighting they have fun and seem to keep the spirits up. They make joke and have a laugh quite often!

-Iwaizumi sends the bad jokes the duo makes to Kenma which makes him laugh quite a lot! They are the most stupid puns you’ll ever see but knowing that they make his husband smile makes Kenma happy. - Both love getting letters from their other half. Most days when they have spare time they’ll just sit there and re-read old letters from the other. Just hoping that one day they’ll get back to see them soon. - One day, two weeks after the war ends, Kenma gets a knock at the door. He expects his husband but when he opens it he sees two men in an army uniform. One with dark hair and one with white and black hair. Just by looking at them he knew they were the two friends Iwaizumi had made.

-Kuroo reaches into his trousers and pulls out a letter. While he does this Kenma looks behind them for Iwaizumi, wondering where his husband is. But he is nowhere to be seen. ‘He’d want you to have this…’   - Inside is a letter written by his husband. ‘Hey Kenma, I heard the war is going to be over soon! That’s so great, I can’t wait to get back home and just sit on the sofa with you and watch some tv. With little Collin jumping up and licking our faces like he always does. Kuroo and Bokuto still tell those lame jokes but it’s them. Can’t really expect much more. I hope to see you soon Kenma, I really do love y-’ The last letter leads off like he left in a hurry.

-All Kuroo can say, while fighting back tears is. ‘I’m sorry. They ambushed us… He died protecting us…’ -At this Kenam just breaks down and cries, clutching the half finished letter to his chest. The pain to much for him to handle, the only person he had ever loved was now gone. And there is nothing he can do about it.

Double date, Hinata and Yamaguchi

-One thing Kenma has always wanted to do a double date, after him and Iwaizumi have been dating for a while he asks the other if he is willing to do one! Iwaizumi replies ‘It’s fine if you can find a couple who wants to.’ 

-Kenma calls one of his friends Hinata and asks if he and his boyfriend, Yamaguchi, want to go on a double date! Hinata says of course and the pair set up a lunch date. -Kenma and Iwaizumi are the first to arrive, Kenma is a little bit fidgety because he is so excited about this. He loves the idea of holding hands under the table as you talk to your best friend and their partner. -When they first see Hinata and Yamaguchi coming the pair are holding hands and Hinata is almost skipping! When he does see Kenma he releases his boyfriends hand and runs to Kenma, giving him a big hug! - Iwaizumi couldn’t help but smile seeing Kenma so happy about such a simple thing. Yamaguchi quickly caught up with Hinata and shook hands with Iwaizumi who politely introduces himself.

-When they get to the cafe they all order their food and drinks and the talking starts. The trio of Kenma, Hinata and Yamaguchi all start talking about pokemon! Iwaizumi feels very lost because he doesn’t play the games and only really watched the cartoon when he was little. -Their favorite new pokemon this gen are: Kenma: Mimikyu, it’s ability is really good for battles. Yamaguchi: Rockruff, I like the different form it can get it when evolves. Hinata: Salazzel! But it’s SUPER hard to get one! Iwaizumi: That ball of gas that goes ‘Pew’ (He means Nebby, has seen the one in game because of Kenma but doesn’t know the name) -Kenma does hold his boyfriends hand under the table, the biggest smile any of the three have ever seen him have. -Turns out Yamaguchi is into competitive breeding for pokemon. Iwaizumi had no idea this was such a thing and actually gets quiet interested in how it works. Kenma then points out he does as well but doesn’t really talk about it. -Kenma and Yamaguchi pull out their 3DS and start having a battle. Hinata and Iwaizumi watch and both root for their boyfriend happily. Even if Iwaizumi doesn’t understand he still has fun rooting for Kenma. -Once they finish eating they pay and walk around town for a bit, going to different shops and just talking about random things. Yamaguchi and Kenma do seem to get along quiet now as they discuss different battle plans in pokemon. -At the end of the day Kenma  is very happy about how the double date went, everyone was. They agree they must do it again and part ways all with a large smile on their face!

Aobajōsai School festival!

This is a contination from this post!  -This time it’s Iwaizumis school festival! Instead of doing the play he and his class were doing he worked with the volleyball club to host a mini tournament and to teach new players the basics of the game! (Oikawa would have helped but was voted to be the prince in snow white play) 

-Kenma comes with Kuroo because he wanted to see what Iwaizumi was doing, kind of hoping it was something he could at least watch.

-When he heard Iwaizumi class was doing the play he secretly wished for Iwaizumi to be the prince to see him dressed up in those kind of clothes. Shhhh Iwaizumi doesn’t know! -They get to the gym and Iwaizumi is with the younger kids, brothers and sisters of other club members or peoples children who have come to visit the festival and are playing with the other members. -Iwaizumi is surprisingly good with children, showing them how to do it and being very patient with them. He doesn’t yell or snap at all like with Oikawa at all. Kenma just stands there watching as Kuroo goes to play a 3v3 game with random people. -The kids love Iwaizumi and a few even get upset when he needs to take a break and stop. When he does take a break the first thing to happen is Kenma appears with a water bottle. Iwaizumi has the biggest grin on his face seeing Kenma be there. - Kenma ends up spending about half the day with Iwaizumi, chatting and doing small jobs to help his boyfriend. Mainly getting drinks for him but still helps! -When Iwaizumi has some time to spare he gets changed and the pair wonder around like they did with Kenmas festival. Kuroo is VERY hurt that he got ditched when he sees they have left and runs after them. -They enjoy wonderful noodles together! Iwaizumi finding them so good he must go back for seconds which Kenma does have a small laugh at as Iwaizumi near enough begs for them to go back. -They watch the play with Oikawa in it, Kenma still kind of wishes it was Iwaizumi up there playing prince charming.

-Kenma and Iwaizumi enjoy the play, Oikawa is a surprisingly good actor it turns out. And they enjoy it quite a bit. Iwaizumi had his arm around Kenma most of the time as Kuroo kept laughing at Oikawa and the outfit he was wearing. - When he finally tells Iwaizumi about the prince charming thing a few weeks later Iwaizumi tells him ‘I don’t need to be a prince to sweep you off your feet Kenma’ And then takes him out to a nice restaurant a week later.
