If you're a new writer and you're asking yourself "is this too personal, is this too much, will people think this is weird" that feeling is the exact location of your actual voice. The stuff that makes you want to close the laptop is the stuff nobody else could write. The safe version is always worse. Always. I have never once read something and thought "this would have been better if it was a little less honest." go further. It's always go further.
We write because it’s nice to look back and see proof that we existed in that moment. Old drafts are embarrassing, yes, but they are also little fossils of who we were. The jokes we thought were funny. The wounds we kept circling. The tropes we were obsessed with. The sentence we clearly thought was devastating because we used it twelve times. Looking back at old writing is like meeting a younger version of yourself who was trying so hard. Be kind to them.

MOOT GUESS WHAT I'VE BEEN BUILDING SETHOS!! He's great but sadly I don't love having to use fischl for him bcs i dont like her playstyle but he makes better damage with her on the team :') I also have yaoyao for dendro + healing and venti on the team although sometimes i switch him out with Durin. Durin is great bcs of his burst (venti too tbh) but i wouldn't say i rlly enjoy using any of them except for durin :') alas, sacrifices must be made for Sethos. On my second account I use Tighnari a lot but I don't have that many characters on there so i usually use him with xinqui, lisa, kaeya or yanfei. Also! Yanfei! She's super duper fun to play imo! I use her a lot on my main too! I also have a team consisting of the Nod-Krai characters (Columbina, Flins, Nefer, Linnea) they're super fun to play too!! I love that Columbina sings when attacking and Linnea's ability to collect ores is soo convenient! Aah this is getting too long isn't it?? I'm also saving up for Kinich, I hope he gets a rerun soon (but not too soon so I can keep saving up some more primogems :>) I've also been thinking about building Layla and and Lan Yan. Oh! And Chasca is also great for exploring!! I'm not the biggest fan of bow characters (tighnari and sethos are the exception lol) but her elemental skill still makes using her fun as well. Ok, I'm done now!! Tell me about your faves if you want!!
