Sometimes I remember that Ciel is literally going to destroy Lizzy by the end of this manga, and it breaks my heart. Her entire life, marrying ciel was shoved at her nonstop. She had to be the perfect wife he would love, so she could keep up her status as nobility. Since she was young the idea was groomed into her, and it became her entire self worth. She was taught how to swordfight so she could protect him, but she was so warped that she hated any of the strength she gained because he would find it unattractive. She gave up wearing nice, high heeled shoes she loved because she didnt want to be taller than Ciel, When your whole life is built around marrying someone,and your self worth is severely damaged, what will happen when they aren’t around anymore? What will happen when Ciel dies as a result of his contract, will Lizzy’s last bit of self worth crumble and break? I think she will be a total mess, because is all she knows is marrying Ciel, and being his wife is all she was raised to know. It’s been shown that Lizzy is an incredibly strong person, but she represses it to put on the cute act for Ciel, and I am not prepared so see her break in the end.
