[ ♧ ] ❝ Show me your the most fake smile you can make.❞
The outer edges of his lips turned up into a smile— His calm voice came through as he asked, “So, how's this?” He was awaiting an amusing reaction from her, leaving the smile placed on his face.
He searched for the right words to reply with, not wanting to gain anymore injuries relating to his job. This wasn’t a good position for thinking, so he quickly spun around making sure to avoid the sharp metal— he let the knife that he always had stored in coat pocket remain there. He would’ve like to ask a more compelling question, but went with a simpler, “Have you always thought you were a normal being?”
Kazumi spun the knife in her hand smirking softly. ”No not really— why you want to pick at my brain mister informant breaker?” blinks as he spun away from her. ”I don’t think you are a normal being either.”
Her facial expression amused him, instantly giving him a genuine smile. “Because you're interesting— not human? human?— different. Take it as a complement.” He pondered about how to describe himself to this purple-haired girl, he was definitely not simple or average, but still human. “Me? Normal? I'm a god to my followers, I would make you one but that would be a waste—”
flirtatiousmischief:
“Explain yourself.”
The corners of his lips twisted into a mischievous smile. He turned around to face him, “Well, hello Masaomi-kun.” Izaya could tell he was committed to getting an answer out of him and wasn't going to lose focus. “I don't ever have to give you my reasons?” he stated looking down at him. Izaya didn't know what specifically he had done this time, to get this reaction. But he was almost positive Masaomi would soon angrily remind him.
«Hey, be careful with those knives!»
He averted his gaze from the knives to the girls blue eyes. He then let out a snicker and stated “Well, that's a first.” His eyes were still fixated on her, until he became curious and peered back down at her two sharp blades he now wielded. “—and these are for...?”
"Is there anything I can do for you?" Yuno asked staring at the guy in front of her.
He removed his hands from his coat pockets, changing from a defensive stance to a more welcoming one. “The better question is, what do you want me to do for you?” He look directly at her, wanting to see how she reacted. He gestured his hands as in a what do you think? manner. “I'm Izaya Orihara, an information broker and i'm sure if what you want isn't boring, i'll help you.” he announced with a wave. He mouthed the word boring with such detest that he had to believe this girl was special.
The essence of being human is that one does not seek perfection.
