Halfway through drawing the text on the fan, I realized that it's actually a font and not drawn by hand. I didn't feel like redoing the whole thing since I've already spent that much time on it so I kept it the way it is. It's a lot more stylized compare to the original.

This is inspired by that one art of Marin Kitagawa.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Yes I know I am very aware that I am very late (again (in my defense I got sick twice)) but who give a damn anyway I work really hard on it and I got it done so that's all that matters.

I was planning on skipping on making any art for it cuz ONE I have no idea what to draw (actually I do but that idea was too time consuming for me) and TWO I was extremely burned out from Christmas. I kept seeing art of horses appearing on Twitter (cuz apparently it was the year of the horse) which lend me to this idea. So yeah happy new year everybody!

This is a homage to the classic movie "Home Alone" (if you can't tell the outfit) since I think it'd be fitting for the day. And what's more fitting than featuring best girl Lucy Stevens for the jolly holiday?

Happy Halloween!

I've drew Aoi with Ulala's outfit before last year so I thought hey why not again. Yeah it's not really the most "Halloween" vibe y'know not very spooky and stuff but hey it's still a costume.

I was NOT having a good time rendering her clothes. I think Ulala's clothes are leather texture judging from how shiny it is, and since the only non-black leather clothes I could think of are the Elite Beat Divas I kinda have to bullshit my way through. Could've done better but ehh I think it looks okay enough. I wish I had better preparation, that way I wouldn't be struggling this hard over it lol.

Some "experimental" stuff I did half a year ago. Took me 5 and a half hours long.

Let me tell you this: my ass was fr struggling like hell dawg. It's so difficult to replicate the artstyle, especially how low res most of the pics I'm using as reference are. I love replicating varieties of artstyles, but holy shit trying to make this style look consistent and not off-putting is so fucking hard, and omg don't get me started on the shadings. The main (male) characters doesn't expressed that many emotions, so it's kind of tough trying to tweak their facial expression without making it look too weird. Oh yeah since there's also lack of shadow/light variety in-game (there's only 3 types), I can't really do much about it so???

It somehow came out really good and honestly I'm really very proud of it. I still think I could've done better tbh, but eh it is what it is.
