“Sometimes you need to scorch everything to the ground, and start over. After the burning the soil is richer, and new things can grow. People are like that, too. They start over. They find a way.”
Good morning all!
These are screenshots from the continued action currently at the whitehouse where indigenous protectors and allies are urging Biden to divest from fossil fuels causing unchecked havoc on our suffering planet.
Many were arrested yesterday for SITTING outside the white house including elders and matriarchs. Bail is still needed. I will update w info when I have it but…
They are LIVE right now and we need eyes and ears on this bc of course mainstream media cannot be trusted to echo these voices.

Through the darkness and the pain, against all odds you are still finding your way Home. Keep on moving and don’t give up.
It's not your fault that you were brought up with parents who were racist, homophobic, misogynistic, or ableist, but it is your fault if you aren't willing to work at fighting these beliefs.
I know that it's hard - believe me, I'm still working through a lot myself - but the first step is to try, and to ask questions if you need help! You can do this!
“I just need a fucking break.”

the influence of us human
I would like to make a post to show how drastically we are changing our environment. This is my favorite place to photograph fog and wild meadows. Every year I come around here. For me it has always been a place of stability and peacefulness. I grew up there too in the near, which is why I’m very shocked how much this beautiful place has changed. I don’t want to teach anyone how much we have to change. I just want to show that the climate change is real and to give everyone something to think about.
The first picture is from summer 2016 and the second picture is from this summer 2021.
