“Tiny Friend” 35/40 min doodle.
A little landscape inspired by a photo I found on Pinterest, trying to use photo references to improve colour choices I wouldn’t usually make. Embracing the scribbly life. 45 mins approx.

In the forest shadows ... this was an experiment to do a more sketchy style, where the blending is lots of cross-hatching with a pencil style brush - one I usually use for doing the initial sketch. It was really fun, my wrist kills now, but I loved doing it. The colours turned out way nicer than expected as I tried to do more muted, but still colourful, tones with just hints of my usual vibrant colours. Hooray for pushing yourself to try new ways of doing things.
London Fashion Week doodle inspired by Whitney Lam’s simplistic fashion sketches :)
