You know what would have been better? If Martin got that partnership because his family are big clients of the firm like if he really did something slimy to get it to set him up as an antagonist. We were looking at Beau as the nepotism kid but then there would be a switcheroo and we get Martin as the one with the connections in the end. It would also explain why Gabe did not have to vote on him becoming a partner. As it is right now... it’s sooo incoherent how he managed to get that spot. Like nothing about it makes sense and don’t even get me started about Aislinn not being the second in the ranking. I know Alianna is dead or whatever but she is THE TRUE VICTIM OF THIS EPISODE. She was robbed in broad daylight.
