i officially finshed the first chapter of the book. like not finished as in finished writing the draft; i finished writing, editing, changing, correcting, researching, and formating the entire thing.

first chapters are important because they are also the first impression. when people read my book, these pages will decide wether they want to continue or not. i’m honestly so fucking proud lol i’m rereading this chapter over and over thinking to myself i’m so fucking GOOD

i’m rereading the artemis fowl series and it’s both funny and terrifying how as a child i never really realised how truly terrifying opal and cudgeon are together. their scheme in the arctic incident is honestly..... what the fuck?

this is where february ended up. i’m not disappointed or anything, just happy that i actually went back even after that full week of being too sick to write.

here we are with book number nine. i’ve had this on my shelf for years and i really want to get rid of it.

only one month in and i’m still behind on the reading thing but i’m not giving up! also i missed one day on 750 words but still going semi strong.

i decided to go back to 750words and so far i’m happy to have managed a full week. i’m gonna keep this up for january at least and then we’ll see how i’m feeling.

when you’ve got three documents of approximately 150 thousand words to go through because you can never remember that specific name that you decided to name someone on a whim and you can’t remember where in the story you put the name and you can’t remember who says it or even in what situation
