THE FUNNIEST YET SCARIEST THING TO HAVE HAPPENED ON RS

on June 6th, 2006 (6/6/06) in world 66 (THIS EVENT WAS CURSED I SWEAR LMAO) Cursed You was the first person to get 99 Construction. he held an enormous house party in which there was a combat ring to fight other players. if you were in the ring and booted by the server (I think it was a server lag issue bc of the party’s size), you still had PvP enabled in the main game. some people (in particular, Durial321) decided to take advantage of the glitch, and moved on from Rimmington to Falador with ice barrage and pk gear. those attacked could NOT fight back, and death was inevitable for many. the whole massacre lasted for over an hour. there were p mods everywhere yelling “bank your stuff!” and people were losing rares left and right ;-; Durial was perm banned.

this happened 7 years ago on this day and we need to remember events like this so that Jagex and players can be cautious with new content and glitches u_u
