Post # 0.1 : Welcome!

The purpose of this blog is to give perspective to the happenings around J2 and the wives/beards. I am a tinhat and believe that J2 have been together since the beginning, but facts are facts and if evidence points to a different point of view I am more than open to it.

Eventually I hope that this blog becomes a guide for the curious and those who want to look back and go "that was weird huh?" Hopefully this becomes a Speak the Truth 2.0, which was very helpful for me when joining fandom again. The author of Stt has inspired me to no end.

I will be referring to SPN Gossip and blogs, both anti and stan blogs when necessary.

9/23/2020, Gen goes on Better Together with Maria Menounos. Gen mentions that Jared drove down all by himself. No Jensen. Mitch mentioned that they would not be driving down at all.

Mitch maybe said what he said for security reasons?

Jensen places himself in Austin.

Extra points:

Gen’s role on Walker was announced on Sep 14. The day after the J2 sighting.

Wife PR is going to be amped up and admitting that J2 were traveling together doesn’t exactly fit the narrative that has been spun recently.

Before I begin I want to give a shout out to @rainbowtastingtexans​ for keeping such a detailed archive. This post will use a number of their screenshots.

9/13/2020, J2 are spotted at Cioppinos which is a restarant in Vancouver that they frequent.

Same day, Richard the Impala prop person gives an update on the impala ordeal. J2 are each getting 1 of the 3 Impalas.

In a private FB group Richard mentions that J2 are road tripping from Vancouver to Texas together.

9/14/2020, Clif’s brother sends out these tweets.

9/15/2020, Jared’s Inside of You podcast is posted. He mentions the cars and remarks that when J2 see each other last is when S&D see each other last. No roadtrip then?

9/19/20, Jared is spotted by fans in Denver while out walking his dog. Jensen’s aunts live in Denver. She inexplicitly confirms that they were there to visit.

Do you really think D & Jensen will split? Or is that just wishful thinking?

I don’t think D and J will split for the time being. I believe that they are genuine friends who know each other well and how to use each other for their own benefit.

I am indifferent to both. But I prefer D to G currently.

hi! would you mind explaining why you think the wives are beards? not trying to be rude, i’m genuinely curious. 2 attractive male costars dating would probably be incredible publicity for the show and there are plenty if successful openly gay actors. if j2 was real, why the need to cover it up?

I could write an entire essay on why I think the way I do but in general from what I’ve seen both relationships are a business deal. When J2 got with their respective wife we were living in a slightly different social climate and Jared especially needed an image to sell so he could go into bigger roles. They have dug a hole for themselves since 2005 that would be hard to climb out of.

Hi! I’m new to delving into the fandom although I’ve believed J2 were in love for ages. Do you know if any of the hats believe J2 are poly and their marriages are legit while also being in love with eAch other?

Frankly no. Hats believe that J2 are the only ones in a relationship and D/G are strictly beards.

Do you know what happened to speak the truth?.

The author only completed the guide up to mid 2013 and left fandom. Other fans made updated through the years but when Storify was shut down everything was deleted.

I love your cover photo. What happened so Gen said this?

In 2017 G recorded J looking uncomfortable. When fans commented on him being irritated she replied.

My cover is from wendigo05 on twitter. She fixed it and erased "and I have Danneel."

What did you think of Jensen's birthday message to Jared this year?

I was very disappointed. Nothing about it was personal to Jared who is someone he has known for almost 20 years. It was basically an advertisement for the show with a happy birthday thrown in for the hell of it. I didn't like how Jared stuck his neck out for Jensen's birthday but Jensen couldn't return the favor.

But hey! Maybe that's what they were going for! It was a quick and easy way to create doubt in fandom.
