She hadn’t expected in the slightest for him to even make a comment about the two of them eventually sharing a bed together, however when he did she couldn’t help but feel a little triumphant. Her smile was bright as she reached up to cup his cheeks between her hands enjoying the fact that as she held his face she could truly feel as if he was hers. She would never have to share him with anyone else. Not his heart, and certainly not his bed. “When you wake up to me sleeping on top of you because I couldn’t get close enough just remember your words. I’m terrible at sharing my sleeping space even with my twin. It’s actually terrible,” she assured him but the idea of actually waking up with him twined up with her was more than enough. Of course physically speaking she knew sooner rather than later she would want more, but for now just being free to curl up with him was all she wanted. If only she could speed up the process to their wedding then she would truly be happy. She figured there was no way he would be okay with her simply moving her things into his rooms until they were officially married or else she would have already done it if for no other reason than to have a reason to be near him all the time.
“You’re way more than I deserve. You know that right?” She mused quietly as she leaned in pressing the gentlest of kisses to his lips, “If I thought for a single second you would allow it I would take you in every single way that I could. I will tell you when I’m uncomfortable but I can almost promise you that the moment you’re looking for will never come.” She did finally pull away from him though only to reach for his hand so that she could tug him away from the beach, “Let’s see I can either have you completely to myself with no eyes on us at all or I can continue to share you where others can have their eyes on you. Even if I didn’t already prefer to be completely alone with you I’d still choose that option.”
She did not take immediate offense, so Jack assumed he hadn’t overstepped his bounds just yet. He did not pull her hands away. In a way, it felt as though she was claiming him, and he had no desire to interrupt that. Her hands felt so small against his cheeks. He pulled a hand up to lay over one of hers, then pulling it away to press a kiss to her palm and surrender it to her again. He had to battle at a smirk as she kept going, failing to keep it from from pulling his lips. “Oh dear, waking up to a beautiful woman on top of me. What a true terror, I’ve no idea what I’ll do with myself.” While he wasn’t usually one to use sarcasm, the tone he used made it evident here. Even she couldn’t really think that he would have any problem with waking up to that. Any man would be crazy to have an issue with such a problem, unless they simply didn’t care for the opposite sex. Even apart from that, this was Juliet, and he could spend days wrapped up with her doing nothing other than talking (though he wouldn’t mind anything else). They still hardly knew each other, despite how right she felt to be with. He wanted to learn more.
“I don’t believe there’s anyone on this earth that measures up to what you deserve, Juliet.” His neck bent to meet her in the middle, beginning to find the brevity of these kisses frustrating. “You can trust me, my dear, I would be more than happy to allow that.” He had never meant to give her the idea that he was dis-interested in her in that way. He only ever wanted to give her the lead, so as not to ever make her uncomfortable. He might have dragged her back, except her intentions became clear and he willingly followed along. “Far be it from me to choose anything that might make you uncomfortable.” He agreed, those his tone couldn’t hide that he was pleased with her decision. He really didn’t have any desire to spend a day out on the beach, in the heat, with people milling about. And the idea of spending the day alone with Juliet was a much more attractive option.
