so this is a last resort, but my partner and i are in a really tight spot.Â
we’re both disabled, mentally ill, and trans and we are stuck in an abusive household for the next year. i’m doing everything i can to get a job (i’ve applied to 8-10 places so far and am waiting to hear back; my partner has also been applying to jobs)Â
we are dependent on my partner’s abusive & neglectful parent – we regularly do not have food in the house, we have overdue bills ($66+) and medications (minimum $40) that we NEED and to top it all off, my partner’s computer (required for school) is broken and repair costs are high (it’s going to be at least $150). in addition to that, my partner’s mother owes us $110 that she’s refusing to pay back.Â
neither of us drive because of insurance costs, which means we’re using lyft and uber every single day to get to and from schoolÂ
the minimum we need to get through the next week or two until i can get a job is $250, so anything at all, even just signal boosting, would mean so so so much to us.Â
