To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing today to ask you to consider underwriting printed materials such as flyers, letters, and business cards. Or you may even deem fit to run a fundraising event through your establishment or club with the percentage of your proceeds to donate to this campaign. Donating tickets to an event at your establishment could generate extra revenue for your establishment. Your generosity will go towards fundraising efforts in honor of Rick Snyder. Family and friends of Rick are fundraising for the Help Hope Live via The South Central Catastrophic Injury Fund to help Rick purchase a wheelchair accessible in. He has passed all the tests involved in receiving his driver’s license, now just needs the vehicle!

Rick does not want your pity; he is asking for your help. “Those accidents happen it is what we do afterwards it makes a difference both to the person it happened to and the people around them." Rick was in an accident 20 years ago which left him a quadriplegic he has managed to live, work, and get around as needed, but it is becoming increasingly difficult for him and his caregivers to transfer him and his equipment in and out of the regular vehicle. This is where your tax deductible donation can have a huge impact on him, all his friends and family, and even to the community he lives in.

With the situation at hand Rick cannot go to doctor’s appointments, food shopping, or even just visiting friends and family by himself. Most of this is due to the difficulty of his wheelchair and transferring in and out of vehicles. He would like to work again as well. All of this would be possible with his own modified vehicle. Help Rick maintain his freedom and independence.

Help Hope Live is a 501 (3) nonprofit organization that has been assisting the transplant catastrophic injury, and catastrophic illness communities with community-based fundraising for 37 years.
