it's carrie, my 4 cats need to go to the vet. they need yearly vaccines, general checkup, dewormed, and doug needs to be checked because he's still limping and now he's noticeably losing weight. ny dad's convinced it's normal but i don't think so

Anyone who has experienced homelessness (includes "couch hopping," "doubling up," staying in a vehicle, staying in an emergency shelter, staying in motels/hotels, and/or being "on the streets"), I'm working w/professionals, experts, and people experiencing homelessness (PEH) community members on setting up a panel to help meet the needs of PEH in my area.

Can yall provide me with questions that would have been helpful for professionals, experts, other supports for PEH to ask you? Feel free to reply or send in dms.

Could be anything from questions that would help point to the root/cause of how you ended up experiencing homelessness, things that you just wanted people to check in on, or anything else.

ok every time this post comes by i resist geeking out on it but NO LONGER so these women are probably the same woman and that woman is monet’s wife camille doncieux. he painted her a LOT. but fun fact: monet had this asshole friend named ernest hochede, and ernest racked up some debts, and like an asshole he basically just fled the country, leaving his wife alice and their six kiddos behind. monet immediately got alice and kids to move in with him, camille, and their two kids. at this point, monet, alice, and camille became my favorite probably historic poly threesome. they lived together, taking care of the kids. they were so poor that alice and camille took turns wearing the nice dress so they could go out with monet. when camille got uterine cancer and began dying, alice helped monet cope and took care of things while he painted camille over and over. when camille died, alice is the reason monet was able to survive. when ernest finally died, monet and alice married, and remained married until alice died. at that point, blanche, the oldest daughter, took care of monet until he died. anyway, the point is, the umbrella ladies are probably the same ladies, but as far as i’m concerned, there WAS a historically queer poly family in that household and they were wonderful.

I am being extorted please for the love of God help me

tldr for those who won't read under the cut ; taxi driver that extorted me previously wasn't fired & did it again , need to recoup the costs ASAP so I can afford groceries today. please please help out if you can .

back in late Feb a taxi driver tried to extort me out of £250 for damages he had fabricated , I contacted the pigs & got a refund on the £50 he stole from me. i thought the taxi company , who I also contacted , would've dealt with him— they didn't. on Monday I had to go to the GP to pick up an important letter , the same man picked me up , threatened me & took a charge of £100 as seen in the screenshot for a £7 journey. I feel incredibly unsafe , i am now paranoid of most black cars , as a physically disabled person taxis are a huge help & now I feel extremely limited because this man has not been reprimanded. I need help affording groceries while waiting to see what my bank is able to do to help.
