I think Jon would take longer showers after making fear toxin because one night he accidentally gave Edward nightmares (though seeing him shiver and cling onto him for dear life is a positive), he doesn’t want to constantly torture his love with the leftover toxin on his body. Which is when the long showers come in; however, while fear toxin doesn’t have a scent, his body wash does (it smells like apples because why not?) which will help ground Edward in his sleep. Edward always burrows his nose in Jon’s body to inhale the scent of apples and if he can’t smell the apple scent anymore, he’ll move on to another part of his body for more of that apple scent.

The first body wash scent that he attempted this trick with was cinnamon and Edward didn’t like it. It was strong, but cinnamon doesn’t smell very good as body wash, much less in candle form. But when Jon made the switch from cinnamon to apple, Edward was hooked on him, literally.

This is so cute. I wish I wasn't too sick to draw this rn.

Hey guys. So I had a nose job a few days ago and I'm still recovering from the surgery. It's been very rough and my activity has been very limited because I can't really do much with my face swollen up. Lol.

I'm gonna be very inactive for like a few months probably...

I noticed you used the term 'skinwalker' in a recent peice and I want to warn you that is a very important and feared spirit in Navajo tradition and us Navajo people who do follow these beliefs don't enjoy when its used by non Navajo because its a cultural taboo to discuss them outside, of specific contexts especially with outsiders. It's generally disrespectful to use such terms as someone who isn't Navajo or Native and isnt close w the tradition to understand when/where its appropriate to discuss such creatures.

Think of it this way: Imagine if someone decided to take a deity or highly respected/feared figure in your culture and turn them into a creepy pasta oc by using their name and a vague description. Imagine if that got so popular almost everyone outside your community only ever thought of that figure in relation to that oc, and worse yet, didn't even connect said name with your culture anymore and laughed at anyone who was upset by the bastardization of such an important figure. That's what people have done to many native beliefs, esp the skinwalker. People use it as set dressing when in reality these stories and beliefs are highly important and taboo and feared within our communities for good reason.

There are plenty of alternate but better fitting terms for monsters like the one you want to describe: Mimic, doppelganger, witch, changeling, or you can make up your own term.

Either way- tldr the skinwalker is a deity revered and feared by many who follow traditional Navajo beliefs and very taboo to use for ocs, let alone even talk about. It's generally considered among Natives and Navajo to be disrespectful and other terms are probably a better fit anyhow.

I wasn't aware that skinwalkers were a taboo subject.

Tbh my thought process was that were-wolves were probably inspired by skinwalkers or something like that since it's a similar concept.

But since I wasn't going for a wolf creature I thought reverting it back to its roots made sense.

I'll do better research next time. Thanks for letting me know.

U rly don’t need to reply to this if you don’t want to, and I completely understand if it’s too much, I just thought that you might understand given that you’re Iraqi.

I really want to interact with mlm/flf content, and genuinely give support to that particular group of people-and to support their rights especially- but I feel like the potential consequences are too grave. Like there’s news of people being sent to labor camps in the winter/people being genuinely executed for even interacting with or producing such media. sometimes with the excuse of “protecting traditional values” and sometimes using my own faith against me.

I just don’t know what to do, I want to support these people because they’re also human beings. But I feel like such a sleaze bag for not doing anything. This bullshit was genuinely all started by the British

I honestly don’t know what to tell you. You can always support people anonymously without having to risk your own life. People would understand.

In my opinion, nothing would change values that are so rooted in superstition. The bigotry that rules this country isn’t based in religion as much as it is based in old fashioned societal values, and they love to use religion to back up these values when it benefits them, suddenly religion goes out the window when it stops working to back up their twisted logic.

I wish I had a piece of advice or information that could aid you in your mission but after working and seeing how women are still treated in a lot of places I kinda lost hope for the other things.

There are many sources online that could direct you to ways you could contribute to supporting people in third world countries. Like supporting emergency relocations and local activists (try to always do these anonymously) please stay safe 🙏 god bless your soul.
