Jack squinted at Mutsumi and straightened his cap, getting ready for the finishing blow. This trial was already over, he was sure of it.
“Good Grief Mutsumi, Hiro, you took the words out of my mouth...”
“But not quite, you missed a thing here and there, let’s pull the whole thing to shore”

“First off, the baking competition, we know for sure that Katsuya was poisoned with poison chocolate made by the killer, this was done early on before the happenings at the beach. This poison definitely killed him, the stab from the kitchen knife was postmortem, and the hit that knocked his tooth out only incapacitated him, leaving him to die from the poison without any further struggle. He would’ve been easily knocked out too, due to the poison.”
“In the kitchen, Katsuya figured out he was poisoned after ingesting the chocolate, grabbing a kitchen knife and pursuing the killer, according to Rum’s account. The killer made their way to the beach, where they were to meet Hitoshi, but Katsuya tracked his killer down before Hitoshi arrived”.
“Katsuya finally intercepted his to-be killer at the beach, desperately lunging with his kitchen knife. Using the last of his strength to stab his killer before the unwitting accomplice arrives”
“Upon arriving at the beach, Hitoshi saw what could only be interpreted as a crazed Katsuya trying to murder our killer with a kitchen knife. He did what any man would and came to their rescue, intercepting him and knocking him out. Which I said before, would’ve been easy with the poison already affecting Katsuya’s body. After he died from the poison, the killer stabbed him in the chest, either concealing the fact that poison was used, to somehow blame it on Hitoshi, or just to make sure he was dead, doesn’t matter really, the file tells us it was poison anyway”.
“After Katsuya was done in, the killer figured that Hitoshi might have figured out that Katsuya was poisoned, so the killer took the initiative to kill him too. The killer took the chair and bashed him over the head with the chair, knocking him into the sand, and then drowning him by changing the tide setting controller so that he would be submerged. We found his flower drifting out in the water, confirming that it was done by changing the setting to a higher tide”.
“While the tide drowning the unconscious Hitoshi, the killer went to the showers to find some bandages and wash off all the blood, only to find that the showers didn’t work. The killer made their way back to the beach with bloody footprints to wash off in the high tide and change clothes, using the roll of bandages to wrap up the wounds, and made it back out no longer tracking blood. After which, the killer went to dump their clothes in the incinerator, thankfully, the clothes didn’t finish burning, probably thanks to the saltwater. Those gym clothes were apparently female, thank you for that information Hiro.”
“Small footprints, female gym clothes, and handwriting matching a certain someone that we’ve already revealed, it’s a girl in this room, and she killed two of our classmates.”
