Hi!! Welcome to this gay mess!

You can call us Amalgam, and we’re a traumagenic system with a lot of alters. We’re very introject heavy. I just wanted to do a quick sort of intro for this thing, and give some information, so that everyone knows what they’re getting into!

We’re physically 18 years old.

The host goes by Gram or Adder, but you can really call all of us Gram

We use any pronouns and all pronouns. It/its is the preference if you’re referring to us as a whole though

we’re an inclusionist, but this blog is for everyone who is MLM, NBLM, MLNB, and/or NBLNB, regardless of their opinions. As long as you are respectful, you are allowed to interact. I will not hesitate to block you if you aren’t respectful, however.

We are neurodivergent and mentally ill, and struggle with empathy/understanding boundaries. If we ever make you uncomfortable, please tell us, so we can fix the issue!

we have one romantic relationship (our wonderful boyfriend) and two queerplatonic ones (who are both very lovely and nonbinary)

We’ll probably talk about our special interests/hyperfixiations a lot. we’ll tag that with #amalgam’s pit if you want to avoid that stuff

Can we just talk about the beauty of queerplatonic relationships and alterous attraction? Or of polyamorous relationships, or t4t relationships, just. Love outside of the predetermined “norm” society sets out for us. the joy and comfort that comes from them, the trust and safety of having people who care for you, and knowing that it isn’t in the traditional sense but that it’s still just as wonderful and loving?? I’m going to write a paper on this sort of thing this summer, called “Love in the Loosest Sense” because it’s all I’ve been thinking about recently.

Hello all my lovely MLM/NBLM/ETC!!

it’s been a hot minute!! a lot has changed in my life!! But I’m ready to come back to this!! some updates, though, as a treat, about me:

I am even more of an inclusionist. however these posts will now be for all mlm/nblm/etc regardless of their opinions. And i expect all of those interacting to be respectful and kind to all!

I still have a boyfriend, but I also have two QPPs and i’m so very happy with them!

I’ve left behind a huge portion of my old friend group. I’m much happier now, but still miss them sometimes

I now identify as a gay man (the host, me, gram/amalgam, the one and only :P) and a femme at that!

Saw a post saying fencing wasn’t homoerotic. You fool. You buffoon. It’s homoerotic in a refined, gently tense way, as opposed to the electric danger of dueling. Locking eyes with your opponent behind the mask and one of you gives the other a smirk, whispering a quiet “you did wonderful” as you shake hands at the end, being pushed back farther down the strip as you fight, all of that is wonderful tension. You need to realize that no amount of bullying asexuals or tucutes or polyams or whatever will make straight people respect you. The cishetero patriarchy doesn’t like you. They won’t like you if you bully and hurt and ostracize the ~weirdos~ in your community. They won’t respect you more. Oh yes, they might might might laugh with you for a little. It might be a great little bit of bootlicking fun when you two are laughing together at someone else.

And there’s no justifying hurting polyams or tucutes or aces or whatever outside of “i want to be homophobic, but in a popular way” because what’s even the point? You don’t get medication from doing it. You don’t get representation in media. You don’t get rights. You don’t get respect. All you get is to take your vindictive hatred out on people just like you who want and need the exact same rights as you. There’s actually no benefit to it besides gaslighting, bullying, and straight up bootlickin.
