Born in Manassa Colorado. I started out as a salon boxer when I was only 16. I was a heavyweight champ from 1919 to 1926. I also joined the coast guard and worked on my parents farm when I was in my early teenage years. I dropped out of school when I was only in the 8 grade. Also known as "Kid Blackie" . I will fight those up to it any time and anywhere.
