MFM · WHY CHOOSE · OPEN USE PLOT
She’s dating two men. She refuses to choose. Different energies, equal pull—and neither of them is willing to walk away. What starts as rivalry and quiet jealousy begins to blur into something messier when the guys realize their connection to each other might not be just competition. Wanting her doesn’t cancel out wanting more—and love stops fitting into neat lines. Think slow-burn tension, emotionally charged moments, and a trio learning what commitment looks like when no one wants to be left behind.
Open use plot — feel free to adapt, repost, or play this out with others. No need to roleplay it with me specifically.

my own worst enemy — muse a is a troublemaker, attached to a world of substance use and seeking the thrill of almost getting caught. they're burning the candle at both ends, trying to live their college life to the max while maintaining their relationship with their high school sweetheart muse b. in complete contrast to muse a, muse b is a put together, sober, try hard kind of person, who has been putting muse a first for years and growing increasingly bitter about it. after a big blow out fight that muse a doesn't even remember, muse b breaks up with them and moves out, intending an independent life elsewhere. muse a realizes how much of their life depended on muse b making it work, and wants them back; but will muse b take them back?
welcome to my life — muse a is the school punk with no supportive blood family, but has an unlikely peace with muse b, the genuinely well-liked, well-supported star athlete. they both work at the same summer camp a few towns over, leading the tension between them to turn into a summer fling. it's great; muse b gets a taste of the dark, broody side of life while muse a gets a genuine connection with someone their own age (and the kisses keep each other coming back for more). muse b wants to make their relationship official in the next school year, but muse a won't let that happen, saying muse b wouldn't understand. after finally confessing the depths of their pain and heartache, muse b is sure muse a will wise up and leave them to their own devices. they didn't count on muse b having such deep feelings for them.
check yes juliet — childhood best friends who went in different directions once high school hit but were always not-so-secretly in love with each other. muse a is an aspiring musician who wants to move to the big city to shoot their shot in the industry, while muse b has been conditioned to go to college to find a spouse and career that way, like their parents and their grandparents before them. muse a has a going away party and muse b attends; muse a offers muse b their passenger seat in their car, running away to the big city with them, and muse b almost accepts, but ultimately turns them down. later that night, at the witching hour, muse b wakes up to the sound of a rock hitting their window; muse a is back, passenger seat ready for them, bag packed, and won't take no for an answer.
when i come around — muse a and muse b have been having a secret relationship that's out of character for both of them; muse a is the golden idol, uptight and with a lot of weight on their shoulders and muse b is the sleazy grungy town outcast who has no time for other people's expectations, as they know exactly what other people think of them. muse a is perfectly content with their aesthetically clashing relationship, but muse b is far more insecure, and tries to break things off with muse a before muse a can break it off themselves. hurt and confused, muse a does break things off with muse b; things have gone exactly according to plan. so why does muse b feel so shitty, hearing about how muse a is a shell of their former self, starting around the time they broke up?

these are some ideas i’ve made for my muses, but i thought they’d be nice to share. feel free to reblog!
i. 𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐬 — muse a’s new coworker, muse b, has some interesting quirks like having an abnormal amount of knowledge about long forgotten ancient civilizations, a closet of only ivory or white vintage clothes, a strange speaking cadence, and knowing details about muse a’s life that almost no one else knows. they are starting to have suspicions that they might have a stalker, but in truth muse b is their guardian angel stepping in for divine intervention before they make the biggest mistake of their life.
ii. 𝐯𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐬 — muse a is a huge fan of muse b, a quickly rising new musician with a cult-like fanbase. which is why they can’t believe their luck when they are invited backstage by muse b after a concert. but upon meeting them, they notice things aren’t as they seem. muse b is beautiful, abnormally so, with an uncanny lifeless appearance typically obscured by the stage lights. muse a feels a growing sense of panic and for good reason, they’ve just put themselves on the radar of a vampire that has no intention to let them out of their sight from then on.
iii. 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐮𝐛𝐢 — muse a is a priest that has moved into a new city, known for strange supernatural events. they are hired as an exorcist for the only church in town. during one exorcism they accidentally bind themselves to muse b, a malignant spirit who’s entire existence revolves around hedonism. muse a now has an unwanted sidekick of sorts, an ancient being with endless knowledge about the underworld that could help them with the unique creatures they find in this new location. muse b’s ethos is opposed to muse a’s life of repression and religious devotion, and it becomes a test of whether the can resist the allure of sin and stay on their path.
iv. 𝐦𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐬 — muse a has the perfect life— an adoring partner (muse b), loving kids, and a high earning career that would make anyone envious. one day, they wake up to another breakfast made by muse b as usual, but… something’s off. their signature pancakes are painfully salty, then the next day they’re far too sweet. the following week, muse a realizes muse b can’t recall the details of their first date nor the name of their first pet. as time goes on, muse a’s life sinks into disarray while the person they sleep next to each night becomes herder and harder to recognize.

muse a, barely into their twenties, is the fashion industry’s latest obsession—gracing magazine covers, walking exclusive runways, and living in a whirlwind of lights, lenses, and loneliness. muse b, a powerful figure in the corporate world with decades of influence under their belt, isn’t in the habit of chasing attention—until they see muse a at a charity gala, laughing too loud, eyes too sad. their connection begins with a conversation that feels more like a dare, a shared drink, a mutual understanding of what it means to be seen and owned by the world. muse b offers stability in exchange for companionship; muse a offers beauty and danger in equal measure. but as their lives become entangled in quiet hotel suites, luxury gifts, and late-night phone calls no one’s supposed to know about, neither can tell who’s using who—or who’s actually starting to care.

okay i really REALLY REALLY need a plot where a drug dealer and a stripper fall in “love”. like they’ll a be bad ass couple and always have sex and get high and do everything that’s illegal. but also angsty bc they’re both alphas and it’s all very complicated as fuck bc they don’t wanna talk about feelings but they have to. and he’ll get jealous at times bc she’s stripping for other men so as soon as she’s done with her show he’ll fuck her somewhere in the back and makes her scream she’s his. and he’ll be on the streets all night to sell his drugs and she’ll be like where the fuck have you been, your not seeing other girls right? so basically just very toxic and smutty and much more omg plsss!
I really, REALLY want a plot where a son of a dangerous and feared mobster is put in charge of managing his father’s strip club and falls for one of the dancers. I so want to play the son, so bad. Pls!!!
